Considering the spreadsheet we have, we could certainly automate the formatting of the "Longest Games" List.

Congratulations to JJJ for acheiving the fourth highest post count by a player in a game and also, the highest post count by a winning player.

Despite the loss, MacDougall did achieve the second highest post total ever by a mafia player.

This game itself is also the fifth-highest ever in terms of post count.

It's sort of a duplicate of a role that juliets had in a recent game on MU.

JaggedJimmyJay and MacDougall sat across the table from each other, peering into the others' eyes. The intensity and the energy was unlike anything this cafe had ever seen before.

But this wasn't a romantic affair. No. This was for all the marbles. This was for all the fruits, all the pomegranates and the oranges, all the mandarins. Citrus was a favorite here. Who was going to break the link first?

" " MacDougall pondered.

"Excuse me." a voice in his ear whispered.

MacDougall looked up, startled. He'd thought he'd gotten a table with zero interference. Garden Gnome seemed not to care.

"That's my seat." she went on. "I believe that's my date you're sitting across from."

MacDougall turned back to JJJ, who slowly nodded his head.

The server wandered over with a couple glasses of water. "What do we have going on here?" Alison said. "This table is only for two, one of you will have to leave."

MacDougall jumped to his seat, furious. This wasn't how it was supposed to end, the night was still young and so was he!! He threw JJJ another frustrated look through the low burning candles, "This won't be the last you'll see of me." he stated. This wouldn't. MacDougall slowly turned to walk away. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Lost Monkey and Allcrab watching from afar, enjoying what looked like a tasty lemony lobster. MacDougall walked towards the exit, past Dr. Martin who was muttering about losing his job to some rogue physician. MacDougall knew what he was talking about, but didn't stop to explain.

MacDougall walked outside, and peered up at the sky. A couple stars winked back through the slighly overcast canopy of clouds.

"Which vehicle's yours?" asked the valet person. "Hi, I'm Esooa, I'm new here, but I hear the food's good."

MacDougall ignored her and walked away. It was a long walk home, but he needed the time to think. His date was cancelled tonight, much to his chagrin, but someday, hopefully not too far off, he'd get another date.

The game is over. MacDougall, the final Mafia, has conceded. Town wins!!!

"What is this?"

"It's your paprika pomegranate, sir." the server explained to Sloonei. Sloonei looked back down. The cocktail sounded far more appetizing than it looked, this problematic pile of presumptuous pomagranate pulp and a pinch of paprika poured in a precarious pint. Sloonei peered in and took a sip, proceeding to fall to the floor. The paprika was too much!! He clutched his throat, coughing and sputtering.

VVVVRRRRRRRRRRRRMMMMMMMMMMMM

Seanzie shuddered as he felt the wind whip across his face as a Red Ford Mustang zoomed passed. The speed was both incredibly unlawful and dangerous, especially for Sean, who'd forgotten his helmet. "Forgotten"!! Sean chuckled to himself, knowing that he normally wears a helmet while biking, but he'd intentionally "forgotten" this time. Helmets really do muss up one's neatly groomed beard, and Sean couldn't have that. Not tonight. He'd been looking forward to this date for over week now. He'd donned his special crankshaft cologne. He looked sexy. he felt sexy. He was SEXY!!

Sean glanced at his wristwatch. "Still on track, still on track" he muttered. Traffic was horrendous today. It was a beautiful evening even in the center of a massive city like this, which probably explained all the people out and about. Sean glanced up through the metallic canopy at a truly radiant sky. Sunset was soon approaching. He hoped he'd make it before he'd have to put his lights on.

BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

Another angry honk roared past in the shape of '96 Tacoma. It's amazing how many people get angry at bikers in the bike lane. It's our fucking lane! Rather than giving them a piece of his mind, Sean pedaled harder. "Gotta stay on track" he grunted as he put more effort. Sean took a right turn, he was getting close.

Suddenly! A car door swung open ahead of him!! Some parallel-parked driver not paying attention. Sean swerved to avoid it in the only direction he could, right into the street. Sean's front wheel caught the trolley tracks and he soared over the handlebars, landing in a heap on the asphalt.

"Ugggggggh"

Nothing was broken. Maybe. Probably. Sean tried to regain his senses. He couldn't breathe. He'd landed sprawled on his back. He started stirring, and felt pain in each appendage he moved.

That's when he felt a slow rumble, one that was growing louder, ominously so. Sean had a sudden realization of where he was, he'd hit the trolly tracks. He was no longer on track, but he was on the tracks. Sean closed his eyes, he knew what was coming, and it was too late for him.

Such was mused by the rest of the populace, after Act's sudden and alarming revelations. She looked like everyone else. She'd brought her sexy outfit to the cafe. She was dancing and absolutely radiating a wondrous glow, blissfully ignoring the rest of the world for a night. She was a golden girl after all, pure gold. But it was all a ruse. A well played ruse at that, but one that her fellow daters finally saw through. It's true, she had the same intentions as they, but hers were full of malice and cunning. Act was not the only one left without a date. Bad bunny was having a miserable evening herself. She'd spent the day in the sun with without hydrating. It was a lovely day, one that began with a whimsical romp through the woods, followed by a soak in the creek, watching the deer wander by. It was a blissfully mellow day at 25°C. The trees were beginning to bloom (you could catch a whiff at every step). But bad bunny had eaten a bad carrot. A carrot so bad, it was slowly eating away at her insides, the pain continued to escalate as she lie their in the grass, wishing she could've had just one more date, one more chance to--

Bad bunny knew that sound. Any rabbit who doesn't live under a rock knows that hawkly screech. She opened her eyes anyway, and could see the hawk diving directly for her. Bad bunn sighed. This was alright, the carrot was probably going to kill her anyway, might as well let the hawk make it a quick death. And maybe, just maaaaaaybe, the carrot would kill the hawk too...

Agent MU007 fumbled with his recorder. He tried to keep his distance as he followed the pair walking just ahead of him. One was taller, with curly, frizzy hair. One was shorter, with long, blond hair, tied in a messy ponytail. Was it a girl? He couldn’t quite tell. They were walking slowly, their voices cheerful, though varying in volume. He hoped his recorder was able to pick up on what they were saying.

This was his first mission. An important mission for Mafia University. They needed to know. They needed to know what was going on over at The Syndicate, and why Mafia Café had spent so much time there lately. Could they pose a threat?

MU007 dared a little closer. The taller one spoke.

“I definitely think we should have some mechanics that highlights the two different communities in a way. What do you think, Dizzy?”

“Yeah, I love that! Wait. What do you mean, exactly?

So, the long haired one was Dizzy. Agent MU007 had heard of this Dizzy. He had played in the previous championship where he fake claimed a power role as VT. MU007 furrowed his brows. He didn’t approve. That was certainly not how he had learned to play at Mafia University. The other one would be Marmot then, he figured. He had heard colleagues talk about Marmot, how he claimed mafia as either alignment and changed his vote frequently. There was quite the file on him at the university.

“Hey, how do you feel about day kills?”

“I love day kills! Oh, but I hate cults and alignment changes!”

“Me too!”

Agent MU007 froze. Were they seriously thinking of adding day kills? Those madmen!

“…which could be 1-shot…”

“…not too strong…”

“…reasonable amount of…”

He had fallen too far behind. It was difficult to overhear their discussion.
“Should we add one more?”

“Wait. Do you remember that weird third party role in that one game…”

“…they need to be careful not to take that too lightly. Imagine if they won the whole thing!”

Both Marmot and Dizzy snickered. They were quite possibly drunk, Agent MU007 thought to himself.

“There are really so many things we can do! Ghosts, conditions, redirection, vote manipulation!”

“We can’t include it all, can we?”

“Will this be balanced?”

“Maybe we should just do mountainous.”

“Maybe… I just hope they have fun with it!”

MU007 had heard enough. There were too many messy ideas. And they even intended to have fun! He pressed stop on the recorder and hurried back to the university. He didn’t know what the reaction would be over at the headquarters, but he did know this: This game was going to be a disaster!

Twilight - This game will feature a 30 minute twilight phase during the final 30 minutes of the day (starting at 12:30) where the poll will close, but the thread will remain open for discussion.
Night phases will be closed
All actions are due 1 hour before the phase ends
Game will start on Day 1 (No Day 0)
Roleclaiming is allowed, but do so at your own risk. Quoting or pictures of role PMs or any other out-of-thread game content is not allowed.
There will be no hammers.
If there is a tie between multiple players in the vote, the elimination will be determined by whoever reached that number of votes first. Using vote tags in the thread isn't mandatory, but it's highly recommended, and we will only track these votes when breaking ties in this way. Votes posted in the thread after 12:30:00 will also not count when breaking a tie.

Cindy Kate (Syndicate) and Percy (Personality Cafe) go on a date. It is May 21, 2021. They expected a normal evening, or at least, a fairly uneventful one, when they entered their favorite cafe, sitting down across from each other at a candlelit table, sharing a casual joke with the server, debating the health effects and environmental impact of ordering steak and ordering it anyway, sharing smiles and other more provocative looks. But this was not a normal evening. No... A rather unexpected turn was to be had!
