Making Friends and Enemies - Game OVER

This is a open set-up that has been run on Mafia scum at least 9 times, and I've always wanted to try running it myself elsewhere.

Roles:

3 mafia goons
8 vanilla townies
2 masons

Mechanics:

-Both the Mafia, and the masons, each have a private chat to talk in throughout the game.

-Mafia have a factional kill they may preform each night

-The masons have a shared single masonizer shot that they may use to attempt to recruit another player into the mason chat. If they use the shot on a townie then that townie joins the mason chat. If they use the shot on a mafiaso then the shot fails, and nothing happens.

-A townie recruited into the Mason chat will flip as "Recruited Mason" rather then "vanilla townie."

Other Info & Flavor

Days and nights are 48/24 as per site standard. 100 per player during the day, 50 at night. A roster amount of 9 Players must confirm roles via pm before posting is allowed.

For a (hopefully) fun addition, Ill take a picture request from each player on the roster when they confirm their role via pm. The sketch will be posted upon a players flip, and/or, upon surviving the game. I wont draw any mature themed prompts that have not-safe-for-work violence/nudity/etc, hopefully that's a given haha. I am open to drawing in different mediums, but my preference will be digitally painting in black and white. This is mostly for time related reasons.

Tutuu had staked her claim on her usual role card. "One of these days," mused LC, "She is going to roll scum and no one will know what to do with it."

An eyebrow arched. TLib had proclaimed 'let's go" TWICE in their opening post. Was it a touch of nervousness? Time would tell...

He awoke to see new posts. "Alison and tutuu town masons?" He thought, "I wonder if they'll pick me as their third!" Truly though, it seemed unlikely. Long Cons were not known for their stable longevity.

That town read from Alison, though. The last time he and Alison had been wolves, she had townread him, but those were... unusual circumstances.

I think so? Not like some of the lizard didn't get left behind on my tongue even if it is a miniscule amount.

Alison was progressing confidently. She knew, with her bold mason claim shining uncontested, that she was going to have to act quickly and decisively in order to get the town on the right track. She had the confidence of the people, and was already detecting the subtle flavour of wolves feeling intimidated, a tang in the air that only the rising fear of cowards could produce.

tutuu was yet to reappear since the early mason bombshell had gently ripped through the thread. One could only assume that tutuu would confirm the clear and calculated claim before long.

Then there was Wilgy. Standardized, stale entrance. Off-topic talk, with a dash of humour and a touch of self-deprecation - a search for pity, perhaps? Long Con furrowed his brow, unimpressed as he marked Wilgy downward. Not a great first impression.

I like to think that I use meta reads sparingly, but when I do use them they have a pretty high chance of being correct. I also prefer to use meta reads to confirm something as NAI (as above) than to confirm something as AI, since then I can't be fooled.

we talked about it with alison and decided we were going to powertown from day 1. i couldnt confirm earlier itt cuz site was down. i dont rly wanna get into the specifics but we decided having two innocent childs from day 1 and removing the risk of mafia ccing / town getting confused by mason softclaims outweighs the risks

besides there is the added element of wifom to it. if mafia kills either me or alison and that person flips VT mafia will feel dumb. if they do not kill me and alison because they think we are VTs covering for the real masons they will also feel dumb for letting us, the real masons, live all game after we had claimed d1.

in either case, mafia will feel dumb and me and alison will feel smart

Take my entrence as you will not much else i can say was gonna do more last night but site kinda went down.

I don't make good D1 reads ever so not really gonna force those right now or the fact you are hard claiming mason D1 (cause is better to do cover D1 and Claim D2)

I'm not sure if acknowledgement is necessarily scummy. I think everyone is to some degree self-aware regardless of alignment, I'm currently gonna lean town on him atm.
