You won’t do it
I won't do it because you think I'm too scared, or you think I won't do it because you clustering.

I won't use it on someone unless I am fairly confident in their alignment. Because I don't particularly want to end up dead.

But that is hardly a way to convince me of this sprityo. I'm town, it would be better if you convinced me you are town too. I can see a mafia utility in your role, and I can see how Colin's claims seem weak. I'm leaning you too, but I'm not ruling out Kyle or Epi 100%.
I adamantly believe sprityo is bad. My concern lies in if Colin is bad, would he be able to predict the next election and give himself a double vote for Day 6?

I suppose the way your gun works is that it functions as a free lynch (either your target or yourself).
I am going by the assumption that Colin completely made up his role mechanism actually. Especially given he has apparently failed to predict an election yet. I believe he has a function based on prediction but I don't think he gets a double vote. I think it's more likely that it gets him one shot abilities such as strongarm kills etc.
Just to clear things up, I've never targeted you. The Night you departed I had protected Spacedaisy, beveling that surely one of she, Scotty, or Golden/juliets would be the target.
FYI if anyone has any doubt that Epignosis is town, I think this almost clears it up. There is no reason for a Mafia Epignosis to post this. There's no way for anybody to disprove that he targeted me, so it would be in Mafia Epi's best interest to let me believe there are strongarm kills.
He’s playing you completely Mac. He has no reason to make that post except that it portrays him so strongly as town. I have no idea what he does in reality but I am not bad so it has to be him.
That's a textbook mafia hail Mary, not an attempt to fight for a civilian win.

I used to love Killian's Irish Red (still do), but the brew has a certain malty character it didn't used to have over a decade ago. I thought to myself, "Ah, cut it with bourbon." Bingo. I love Broilermakers, and this works.

NIGHT 5

Alright, we're taking a detour. I'm seeing that you booted Colin, but I'm making sure that we're rid of all them Paradox Police.

Welcome... to the Oasis!

Image

This is a place I can refuel my time tanks, a place warded from all time effects, and a place we can watch the changes take place that we have wrought. Crib fulla future time wizards, time wards, and all that whatnot.

Go in, get an untampered drink, relax. I'm going to make a few phone calls.

*walks away*

Hello. Yes, this is Sammy. The tests went well. Those that remain will be perfect for erasing all traces of muskrats from history. It will be a lot of work, but they can do it. They've been selected, hardened by trials and errors.

But sir, I must ask. Why muskrats?

Image

. . .

Anyway, yes, it seems that the Paradox Police have been removed. Can you verify? Yes? Splendid. I'll tell them all.

*click*

Well, it seems that you've eradicated the Paradox Police. Good job. Now, we'll be searching for the lost members so that we can continue the tour.

If you would, jump back on the Zepplin. We have a lot of things to do, tours to give, and muskrats to eradicate.

Never mind that last one.

Image

Coliniscool has been lynched.

TOWN (Juliets, Scotty, Spacedaisy, nutella, Macdougall, Sig, Kylemii, Epignosis, Lapluie, Quin, and Zephyrus) has WON!
Scum (Sprityo, Coliniscool, Lunalee) has lost, despite a very well-played game.
Squidward (Turnip Head) has ascended into godhood! (WON)
Phil Connors (insertnamehere) has lost.

This was a very experimental setup, and I thank you all for taking the time to play it. It didn't end up being as well-balanced as I'd hoped, but we did reach MYLO, and town definitely deserved the win they got.

I'll be putting up some post-game notes, quicktopics, and roles soon. For now, feel free to celebrate/rant.

Congrats to the town!

I already told speed this, but I had fun and liked the craziness of the set-up. Even though every phase was in some respects me wondering what development or mechanic I had to skirt around now, I felt pretty good about our chances until Mac came back and gave me a good smack. Sorry I couldn’t bring home the bacon, sprit and Luna, but I reaaaaaally couldn’t find a way out of this one.

Thanks speed for hosting a great game. My role's penultimate action was to bring Scotty back after he died but I needed another night to do that (and speed said it would work even if the mafia killed me the same night). My role card said it was important not to reveal that piece so I knew spirit was bad when he started revealing I was kind of a doctor cause he had to have seen the warning not to reveal that part. I really just kept the spot warm from Golden's spectacular play though and I believe he should be able to fly the winners banner. Also good job everyone I played with.

ROLES AND NIGHT ACTIONS AND QUICKTOPICS!

Before you descend into the unbalanced madness that is this setup, I have a few things to say.

1. The election mechanic did not turn out as I thought it would. I should have forseen it becoming entirely town-sided, and powered up Colin's role. He was meant to help get his team elected, and have an arguing point for that. This was the biggest mistake in the setup.

2. The only flavor claim that could effect the game was the Back to the Future flavor claim. I should have made that appear different on either side.

3. Town made a lot of assumptions that paid off, even without flips. I overestimated and way overcompensated for the lack of flips, leading to an overpowered town, then Golden assumed Sig was scum and Mac made some assumptions and the two began pinning the scumteam left and right. Go figure.

4. Lunalee dying early was awful for scum. Her role could move around kills wherever the scumteam wanted them, ignoring protection. I regret not giving the mafia team communal ability use, in that they could discard what they wanted to.

5. There were not three doctors, but it was close enough to shame me.

6. The only person who used the Delayer was Kylemii, and it only did something that really mattered once. I was hoping for more delays on Spacedaisy or protective roles.

7. Thanks for sticking with me. Scum might feel gypped. INH, with his survivor-lite marker role, might feel gypped because TH's role was easier than his. You all might look at the following list and wonder what I was thinking.
But I'm glad you stuck with me, hope you enjoyed the game, and apologize for any host mistakes made (in setup or along the way.) Thanks.
(Man running a game takes a lot out of you, I don't know how some of you guys do it so often)

8. Why would a rolecop not be a good guy role in a no-flip game? Come on guys. I mean, it wasn't, but it totally could have been.

9. Whether or not Golden receives a win for this game is up to whoever handles that. He deserves one. I think scum would have likely won without his input.

Luna’s did lol, which is funny. But I admitted to speed that I felt sure you were not sigs teammate. I was sure one of you was bad with Luna, I was hedging on which lol.

Your iso was so thoroughly clean as a whistle when it came to sig, you can see how I just leapt over it in my iso of you.

Hooray. I finally have a win in a full game. Only took 3 years.

I actually really, really sucked this game until I came back as a stump and finally made that case against sprityo. I was wrong about almost everything except the angle shooting on Choutas replacing out and consistently reading scotty as town. Wrong about sig and sooooo wrong about Colin. Wrong going after Epi, Kyle, Golden, wrong on day 1 about nutella and quin. Wrong about spacedaisy at the start. I also thought Lunalee was town at one point.

Interesting that when I came back there was only one dead scum up until then.

tfw Quin screws you over, and you half-indie-claim only to be immediately vigkilled despite having literally the most goddamn benign role I've ever seen in a mafia game

I was really wary of the Scotty relationship and all the dictor shenanigans, it really felt like 5D chess at some points. More luck than anything.

But yeah, I would have given the BTSC connection, and the bulletproof vest to the indie role that had the quite difficult win objective instead of the pretty easy one.

Also, I didn’t intend to actually criticize TH’s wincon as a flaw in the set-up, I just seized on it as something to attack in an attempt to thin the numbers/give Luna some time if possible. I hope you can forgive me Turbup.

Or at least make it so that Squidward has to guess the election result correctly multiple times. The role is kinda ridiculous.

That was actually the moment I really thought you were bad, because if you were honest about your role it made turnips an extremely coincidental lie if it was one.

Epi we targeted the same people every night until I was gone. Fortunately mine was a delayed doctor so it was actually working really well.

And yet you fucking killed it at the end.

I was cheering in the stands for you.
