From the people who currently have votes wilgy is iffy because I remember leading an accidental mislynch on him on another game for acting how he is now. Drogomir idk them I'll have to read a bit more from them. Sloonei seems like normal town sloonei as of right now

I haven’t looked at her closely yet. Her response to your suspicion was unconvincing, and in that she kind of copped to the accusation. So I’m open to her as a suspect, but I’d like to see what she does the next time she’s here.

It was unconvincing? There have been a ton of posts in this game, some not relevant to the game that I don't even understand, and I barely have time to think. I had three doctor's appointments this week, a biopsy, a bad test result and a painful dental procedure. I'm not feeling well and have another appointment Tuesday which will probably be more bad news. I'm in two other games now so what time I have is spread thin. Today is my birthday and I will probably spend most of it trying to get a handle on this game. I feel pressured to find mafia soon in this game where I'm seeing a lot of behavior which I interpret as civ because I will not be here during the day tomorrow for the most part and am going out tomorrow night for my birthday so won't be here for EOD. So - I am overwhelmed. But I'm not sitting around saying "woe is me". I'm applying time to this game today regardless of what else is going on in my life and hopefully I won't feel overwhelmed any more.

To be fair I don't think I had ever seen Wilgy act like he did in the Scrimmage before then. He really came in swinging in that one but I don't associate that with his typical meta. In my experience he is usually quite fluffy regardless of alignment. But then maybe he really has changed it up and apparent lack of effort could be AI for him here in some sense. Idk, feels like good ol' fluffy wilgy to me, but curious what other people familiar with his past meta think.

actually I take this back, it doesn't make sense actually now that I think about it bc in scrimmage I absolutely made up scumreads I wouldn't have believed had I been town. Still, I don't think I usually even do that as scum if possible. If I am scum in a single mafia setup I generally try to target townies who I genuinely think look suspicious and can imagine a town version of myself suspecting. Obviously there have been exceptions as I just mentioned but in general if I'm scum I don't go around tossing made-up scumreads willy nilly. They have to be for a reason.

This game has a good cast. There are invariably going to be some solid and prolific players who have rolled anti town here because of how many anti town roles there are and they will be trying to control the narrative... because they have to.

Concurrently if you are a civ and can give top effort I want some balls to the wall here. We aren't winning this on info. Civ voices need to dominate the thread. I want 150 pages. I want a bloodbath of analysis. I am going to be ruthless if you are phoning it in and I expect better of you. You know who you are.

Also he suspected Epi for giving out town reads which is something town Epi does and actually I believe Mac did the same thing in scrimmage.

Mafmen is just focused on mechanics and I feel like there were bits of it that seemed like they could have come from a scum perspective

When I originally stated my reason for suspecting MM I said it was because he was focusing on mechanics and that there were parts of that discussion which specifically pinged me. Even disregarding the small specific pings, which both he and Lux dismissed as weak and I concede that they were, I still suspect him for the main reason of generally focusing on mechanics. That make sense?

It's an easy thing to talk about that isn't developing reads on other players. It's a way for scum to look productive in the thread without actually driving the scumhunting process.

I don't fake reads. I've talked about how that works even if I'm scum in a single scum team game, but it doesn't matter (A) because this is multiball and (B) because I am town anyway so I don't have any reason to fake anything. I feel like you have seen my defense about this a zillion times in different games and yet it's all you can accuse me of. Just deciding you don't think I have real reads. There's no substance to it. Explain your thinking.

Scum doesn't fake cases and fake reads just to mimic town behavior. The goal is to mislynch. That is, to lynch outside of their scumteam. In multiball, this can be accomplished by actually catching opposing scum and by fake cases and fake suspicions. Or scum may fake suspicions because they don't want to be like "Oh, I have no reads."

Like not everything is true just because there are multiple scum teams.
