Ultra would go after a teammate first thing.
Gemma thought they had saved Jay night 1. That would have to not be true.

Interestingly, Nova went after Jay for 'not having a believable progression on Ultra'

What's unbelievable about his progression on ultra?

Had him green after their early spat, reiterated by saying he liked his (Ultra) "assertive" tone. Never hit back at the bogus suspicions which had me unsettled, and he only started viewing him bad when I prodded him about further. He stated the lack of progression of Ultra's read even though, Ultra hadn't posted in between "I like his assertive tone" and my prodding of Jay I believe.

Here's the post. My feeling is that 'assertive tone' can only take you so far in JJJ's estimation. It carried Ultra in D0 and early D1, but stagnated and wore out.
Progression was fine.

I'm a sucker for a new guy who wants to get in my fucking face from the start.

As it happened though, that was the only thing he seemed to care about in his posts. He picked me as punching bag based on that "chainsaw defense" thing and did not move from it. I made note of that here -- as a day progresses, the value wanes and it just becomes nothing. It ended up being about the only thing the guy did in this game. As EOD approached (and my own requirement to decide a vote approached even sooner), I was confronted with wagons on Ultra, nova, and Owner and decided he was my preference among them.

Hooray.

I don't see any interactive analysis. Civ Jay would have had those made during the night, and ready to publish at first light

Not sure how strong a suspicion this is, but it's funny because this is like... the opposite of DDL's suspicion?

Nova found some inconsistencies with JK as well. This is JK's response:

It appears I've gone down the rabbit hole and found that JK is probably the best lurker lynch we have. If we lynch a quiet player today, I'm voting for him.

Lux, Mac, DDL, Nutella, Owner. These are town. I am not entirely sure, but I am willing to assume that at least for today. Nutella and Owner are probably the only ones I would reconsider, even though I'm 90% sure on nutella and 80% on Owner. (I've never seen scum owner, so I don't have as much to go on.)

I can tell you. And the answer is...kinda.

I'm definitely not useing Ultra interactions to knock JJJ out of the running.

That said, I did note that Jay's side of the progression was fine, and Nova/DDL have suspected JJJ for completely different reasons. One for no cross-analysis, and one for ONLY cross-analysis. (simplification, but true enough) I imagine that must be frustrating.

POE is 'process of elimination'.

When a townie starts the game, they think anyone could be scum. As they townread people, they eliminate them from consideration, and end up with a POE: a shorter list of people who could be scum.

It's like a list of scumreads, but it focuses on getting rid of townreads more than putting on scumreads.

That was a fun page to read. I sympathize with DDL's urge to follow his instinct on Jay, but I don't actually share that instinct at this point and I quite liked Jay's response. I see regular ol' hardass town Jay here.

I also found DDL's position on dragomir to be reasonable. I still suspect him and I think scum can exhibit that kind of hubris, but I have to admit it feels like there's some genuine spark and that may well be his town personality. I'm going back to speed again.

The stuff that gives me the most trouble is his handling of me. When you or others have voiced suspicion of me, he has responded with language suggesting, at least as I interpret it, near certainty that you're wrong and that I am good.

He uses the same language for everything though. He was certain about nova on day 2. He was certain about me for most of the game. His approach is to be 100% sure about everything and refuse to accept positions in contrary.

Do you believe that you're exhibiting symptoms of your lost faith in the collective town: Doing a lot of work yourself, but not interacting and driving others as much? How are we to differentiate that from a lack of engagement in the thread?
And if you're trying to solve the game yourself, what are your conclusions?

Unfortunately I won't be able to finish Lux and Owner. Neither of them should be given a pass, so that's something that I hope civilians at least examine moving forward.

A couple of orange spots can be dissolved if the green peek on DDL is to be believed (and I am inclined to believe it). The sea of yellow that remains is an annoying byproduct of having a sea of inactivity to contend with, but I still think there's reductive value here.

~ Two present suspects seem compatible to me: RDW and Dragomir.
~ I can dissociate you from two people, and that's more than I can say of others currently receiving votes.
~ I didn't think Mac was a likely teammate of DDL before the peek reveal, so that solidifies the perspective that there's no teammate gambit at play.
~ Really, the sparsity of indicators here might itself be the best indicator of one or two inactive mafia member(s). If the active players' interactivity leaves me with dead ends and lacking confidence, then by interactive process of elimination, this represents a concrete case against the players who otherwise cannot be cased -- one of the most valuable applications of an exercise like this.

I don't know what to do with this. Suppose we follow Jessie on this motion, lynch Drago, and then there is a green flip. It's a blatant way to get out in front of something that you know is coming. It's also an unusual thing to say in general.
