Yes.

If TH wants to achieve his win con, you'd expect him to pick someone with a reasonable level of town cred in the thread, not himself (a person who could have easily been lynched).

Him picking himself would have suggested ulterior motive.

i'm really not. mafia turnip head becoming unlynchable after predicting just 2 elections is the only realistic way he lives past the end of day 3. isnt that what you're worried about? what else could go wrong
Well firstly, “Becoming unlynchable” = “a crazy game winning power”.

I’m not saying we lose the game if TH gets his way. But there are plenty of ways things can go south if he’s lying, even if it’s not unlynchable. The hurricane in U-Pick for example. I’m sure all of who you have played a zillion games can think of others.

I'm going to campaign here a moment, and express to you rubes just why I am the correct candidate for this erection.

First, 2483 is five hundred years following my birth.

Second, I kind of like beer.

Finally, this was modeled after my penis:

Image

Finally, and I can tell truly that speedchuck does not drink:

Image
My buddies and I have tasted every concoction from neanderthal piss to alien ant stew, and this beer is the best there is. Ever. Period. And I have a voucher for one of them.
If anybody served me a beer like that, I'd kick them out of my penis tower. That's clearly whiskey, and not beer. From the decanter to the glasses to the presentation- whiskey.

And a voucher? You have to have a voucher for something in 2483? That's like saying you have a gift certificate to get your eight tracks out of layaway. Holy shit.

The decanter even says "Diamond Jubilee," which indicates a sixtieth anniversary. What are we celebrating, O great host from the future? Betty White's porn debut?
In the meantime, enjopy the sights! You can see the entire state of Thriple New York from here.
You missed an opportunity.

'"Trippel New York."

:disappoint:

If this is our future, I want to die.

But don't let that happen.

Instead, vote for me!

either turniphead is telling the truth and he gets his easy win and vanishes and we know he was indie, or we find out he was lying, we lynch him day 3 and then he vanishes and we know he was mafia.

if you have a better way of dealing with his claim then let me know
I am not dealing with TH's claim by letting him win an item.

If he wanted to successfully guess tonight he should have picked someone other than himself. This is like the part that Daisy opposed strongly, and on this I agree. I'm fine testing his claim, but I'm not electing him to have other advantages. I'd sooner have lynched him yesterday and not tested his claim at all than let him win an item, and for him to think he could win an election under current circumstances is his own fault.
Who gives a shit about Turnip Head and his win condition?

I've played enough games with TH to know I should never trust him but he sounds pretty genuine here, like why would he lie? Also his role sounds super dumb other than randomly having btsc with Kyle? Like, what the fuck is Turnip Head up to?

Anyways I'm voting for Golden.

Nah

I was actually pissed at him for voting himself because I want to find out if he was lying. I would have voted for any person who he picked if I trusted them. But I wouldn't have voted for him if he picked himself in case it was a ploy just to get an item.

hey guess what i just realized i don't care about this basically at all actually. my whole point in helping turnip head achieve his wincon from the start was to call his bluff in case his weird claim was fake. i still think we should absolutely test his wincon before considering lynching him but it's not really that much of a priority i guess

Epi and Golden want this too much. Let's do the right thing people. Let's vote for a third party.

Now I'd gladly accept it, but if not me then I say we elect sprityo for the funky fresh beats.
Seriously Mac, why can't you just for once sit still and let me execute a plan without trying to interfere just because you're jealous!

I'm trying to do something that is in the best interests of the town here. Your mother in law would be proud of me!

If I am not elected, I will out myself and potentially ruin this for the civilian faction.

Yes, I am that petty.

Every damn game Golden is in revolves around him becoming trustworthy and then establishing networks of trust. The first game I ever experienced his networky trust building fucking bs was A World Reborn and he started civ, built a network BTS, turned out that most of the people he was establishing trust with were scum and then they recruited him and he won with them and the rest of us had to suffer.

Golden + Trust = Mac's Triggering Intensifies

And he wonders why I never trust him.
