Either you're making something up or I did something I don't remember. When I voted Jay to "see what happens", that included the possibility of lynching him. Maybe that's where the confusion was.

I don't know how to feel about Jay, not entirely. In my next post, I'll explain better.

I'm still super paranoid. If I was choosing only based on protection, I might have chosen Lux or DDL or Mac. But I wanted to protect someone that could be dangerous town, but that also might net me a block.

It was clearly the wrong decision, so.

All the roles are done and we got one town clear, a vig kill, and a block out of it. And I guess whatever we can tell from claimed targets.

I can tell you. And the answer is...kinda.

I'm definitely not useing Ultra interactions to knock JJJ out of the running.

That said, I did note that Jay's side of the progression was fine, and Nova/DDL have suspected JJJ for completely different reasons. One for no cross-analysis, and one for ONLY cross-analysis. (simplification, but true enough) I imagine that must be frustrating.

Lux, Mac, DDL, Nutella, Owner. These are town. I am not entirely sure, but I am willing to assume that at least for today. Nutella and Owner are probably the only ones I would reconsider, even though I'm 90% sure on nutella and 80% on Owner. (I've never seen scum owner, so I don't have as much to go on.)

Nova found some inconsistencies with JK as well. This is JK's response:

Had him green after their early spat, reiterated by saying he liked his (Ultra) "assertive" tone. Never hit back at the bogus suspicions which had me unsettled, and he only started viewing him bad when I prodded him about further. He stated the lack of progression of Ultra's read even though, Ultra hadn't posted in between "I like his assertive tone" and my prodding of Jay I believe.

Here's the post. My feeling is that 'assertive tone' can only take you so far in JJJ's estimation. It carried Ultra in D0 and early D1, but stagnated and wore out.
Progression was fine.

To accept a scum Jay, one has to think that-
Ultra would go after a teammate first thing.
Gemma thought they had saved Jay night 1. That would have to not be true.

Interestingly, Nova went after Jay for 'not having a believable progression on Ultra'

Lux kinda danced around the Ultra lynch a bit. They never disagreed with scumreads on Ultra, but prodded for 'why's and voted other people until the end, when they sheeped the vote.

That's what I find when searching for 'Ultra' in Lux's posts, though. Not sure if it's anything.

Guess I'll do things before I get lynched for the same reason I got lynched last game.

Macdougall - Coud technically see a scum Mac clearing town DDL, but that's weird and unlikely. No reason for him to do that. I definitely don't think Mac and DDL are w/w.
Luxurious - The only person I'm probably going to reread today. Their volume of posts and general pressure on the thread is really productive, and I'd be surprised if scum was behind the wheel of that. I'd also be surprised that they can keep things as consistent over such a volume.
nutella - I made the statement that her suspicion on me seemed genuine. I did a lot of soul-searching to reach that conclusion. I am going to stick to it.
Owner of a Lonely Heart - Has (after early D1) played exactly as I'd expect a civilian Owner to play.
JaggedJimmyJay - Paranoid about him because he hasn't refuted what DDL said so much as he's claimed it was for another reason. Have seen very few concrete conclusions from him that I remember.
Dragomir - Too scummy to be scum does not make him a townread. Drago has done some weird stuff, and his irritation and floundering when his top read became townlock was pretty weird. That said, Drago would have been proven wrong by DDL's flip too, and he was going for it hard.

You may think hes civ because he made 285383938 ISOs and played every item from the Jay playbook. But who do you say is the town leader now? Luxurious? Maybe you? Nova was a decent leader too. But Jay is not, because he is not engaging. He is not talking to us. He is in his little world, filling the Jay checklist while the rest of us are mind melding.

Then we will propose some obvious bait lynch (dragomir/rdw/jessie) and Jay will join. Then they will flip town, we will say "alas, poor scummy civ" and we will go back to playing while Jay will start working on Jayexercise #8.

Hard disagree with this read. First of all, DDL ain't actively trying to hunt shit. Second of all, I've done more hunting than he has and you ain't town reading me. I'll elaborate more if you want in the morning when I wake up.

For what it's worth DDL and I have somewhat similar approaches to the game so I probably have a different reaction to his play so far than you (idk if you've played with him before?) and imo he looks good here. I don't care if you think you're hunting more, it looks fake whereas his reads look organic.
