If he is about to lose he could try to kingmake someone though, just like you were trying to help Mac win early out of the goodness of your heart.Arcbell wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 1:00 pm It's interesting that you think it's a possibility he was trying to make it look this way
Again he has 0 reason to make it look that way since death=loss. He's not a normal mafia team member who wants to throw town off after they flip. Were you voting him at that time?
Now would he necessarily kingmake the other mafia? Maybe. Makes sense but I'm not sure. For that matter he did not vote day 3, so maybe there was some anti-spew.

Because having ML-able townies around isn't enough if people don't have reasons to townread me. I will get PoE'd eventually. A mafia needs to say things that look pro-town, and sometimes that means actually helping town with little things that don't matter much in the long run.

Or if you mean now, it doesn't matter because Mac isn't an "extra unconfirmed player". He's confirmed.
At the end of the day, I don't think it matters much if we sleep sooner or later. But your focus on helping Mac's wincon and later on sleep shenanigans feels like a bunch of diversion that doesn't take us anywhere.

If mafia holters a kill just to help mac they are stupid and deserve to lose.
Abd if we do the same, we are stupid and deserve to lose.
Play to your wincon, not Mac's.
That said, we probably need to sleep once, sooner or later, since even numbers make it more difficult to find mafia. Then again, since there is one confirmed player, it probably doesn't matter either way.

Ive hosted a few cool games but Ive never gone full NF style. I think I'm afraid syndicate people will think it's too crazy since they are more down to earth.
I should just do it though. They can probably handle it.
But I need to time it with vacation time. And get a co-host. Or both.

Porscha isn't trying super hard but seems honest. But the amount of effort is low so it's not all very hard to fake. The low volume is NAI, but I need more. Would kill after screen.
Screen is whatever, I don't think suspecting him day 1 like some did made sense, he's just fluffling, occasionally saying logical things and being apathetical. He could be town. He probably is. He's not doing much to avoid the top of the PoE though.
So one gives some town feeling and the other gives nothing and is like =rand. I vote =rand.

Personal experience: roles that offer "deals with the devil" to players get rejected 90% of the time. Players get really paranoid at that stuff for some reason. Or a role that can create a different, secret post restriction every day and get infinite kills against whoever breaks it.
Or a role that is completely immortal and changes between town and mafia whenever it is hit with a kill.
Or a role that passively makes every action in the game have a 5% of being randomly misdirected to a random target, including the user.
Or a zombie cult.
Or a role named God who is based on an old testament version and who has like 6 different ways to smite players.
Or the Moon from Majora's Mask who can end the game in 3 days and nullify all other abilities used against it because it "destroyed the game table", according to the host.
I've wanted to try a weak version of a cultist: Demonic Cultist - May give a player the option to sign their soul away and join their cult once per night. Each signature grants the head cultist a new power, and if someone refuses they lose power / die / something bad

Re: Ducktales Woo-oo D3
Like you guys need to play a game with two cults and one jester some time.

Re: Ducktales Woo-oo D3
Ok caught up.
Ive made my point about coins and scrooges above.
My point about NAA is that I have no idea but I don't usually spend much time doing NKA so whatever.
I have at least a small town read on everyone except screen so PoE says kill screen. If you want more just search my iso for that post where I described what I think of everyone, it hasn't changed much since.
[VOTE: srceen] aubergine
Tomorrow will be an insane day at work so if you want to talk to me or ask me questions you have two hours.
(Please talk to me nobody is asking me questions anymore and I feel lonely)

Re: Ducktales Woo-oo D3
Did you guys just make me read 3 pages of coin talk.
Why.
Here 's my opinion. We can't control who the coin lands on, so it is a nothingburger. Mac's wincon is irrelavant to us, so we shouldn't give a shit about it (sorry Mac).
You people need to play some games from my home site sometime, then you will know the feeling of being utterly destroyed by 3P's so well you will never raise your voice to talk about helping a 3P again.
Let's kill wolves plz.

Yeah ok thats fair.Arcbell wrote: ↑Mon Apr 18, 2022 7:48 pmI mean, I agree it shouldn't be used to manipulate or put people down, or to deter people from using certain strategies, but sometimes when discussing hypothetical strategies you do need a word for playing against your win condition and that word is game throwingDragon D. Luffy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 18, 2022 7:43 pm Look, this isn't personal and I don't wanna start a thing, though maybe I just did.
But gamethrowing is against forum rules. If you think someone is doing it, message the mods, don't say it in public.
And it is often used to attack people who have non-meta playstyles. Which is mean and elitist.
Or in this game's case, when I said I would have few posts in day 2 because I was enjoying easter weekend with my family and Rondo replied by calling me a gamethrower and a slanker.
So please don't do that, okay?
So my rule would be more specific: "don't accuse people of gamethrowing"
