Thinking of bookin' this until I can design anything 'bout it or can even conceive the idea of hosting it (the write-up being the biggest issue; I can barely do English, let alone insert full Minnesota talk - any fella from there, incidentally? ).

I know there's been a micro mafia game, based on the original movie, but I reckon this deserves an expansion, now that the TV show has two seasons and the second one is two episodes away from the greatest, most exciting thing I've seen on television since probably Breaking Bad. Or maybe I'll wait to see what they come up with in the third season, should it also deserve inclusion.

So far Malvo (from season 1) would make a perfect SK and the Gerhardt Family vs. Kansas City Mafia feud (from season 2) would make a solid premise for a two-team mafia clash. The cops, detectives, civilians and poor suckers from both episodes could round it up nicely.

I didn't know there was a TV series. I've been meaning to watch the film though.

You should watch both. Or rather all three - the TV seasons are anthology, so binging a season is not compulsory to view the other.

But definitely the movie first. It's strangely far from my favourite Coens, but TV season 1 is kind of an imitation of it, whilst season 2 pays homage itself, but totally takes off on its own.
