Battle of the Hosts Mafia

Roxy and splints' mechanics in her stupendous Syndicate game made me think of a copyc- variation we might try, for equal fun, (full of ideas that actually belonged to other people, so I don't have to do much work myself :p ). I could host it because, right now, I'm impartial, not having hosted yet or never having the faintest clue how to host (seriously, whenever Godspeed or Inception will show up, wear seatbelts).

Every role will be a previous Host of a Mafia game on this site. Any player can sign up, however.

The setup will probably be heavily influenced by the design of previous games those Hosts made (I know this part is alike a Champions game, but why not). In fact, I'm thinking of making this worse borrowing the rotation madness feature from Recruitement so that all roles will rotate after each phase, as long as the civ-mafia alignment is not disturbed (i.e. no switches from civ abilities to mafia ones) and the balance of the game is kept (i.e. all rotations would have a traditional balance setup overall, no matter the rotation).

Currently there are around 22-23 eligible roles based on previous primary Hosts - a few co-hosts can be added too. This can be expanded with future first-time Hosts (such as DH, Bullzeye, MP, etc.), up to the date this game would take place.

This game can happen in several ways:

Full game, probably destined to be played around 2019-2020
Speed game, with the roles list reduced
Special game, so we can have fun with this, to be played as soon as "not now" is no longer in effect (hint: it currently is)
Omelette game. *Secrets*

This game can also take several shapes:

Closed setup, sock game, very likely traditional roles only (and no rotation maddening, if everything is in the dark).
Open setup, regular game, rotation madness.

You can have factional abilities for the mafia (or at least, make the kill factional) instead of making it a role ability. This would potentially allow you to rotate all role abilities completely, if they were all balanced.

PS when are you hosting omelette mafia?

Haha, I don't think it matters. :P

Zeek is running another X-Men game I think even though Epignosis ran one a year or so back.
