Dethy Mafia

Has anyone here played dethy mafia or interested in it?

EDIT: Standard setup

1 sane cop (always gets correct alignment on investigation)
1 insane cop (always gets wrong alignment on investigation)
1 naive cop (always gets innocent alignment on investigation)
1 paranoid cop (always gets guilty alignment on investigation)
1 mafia goon (gets NK beginning N1)

Cops get investigation on N-0, then the game begins. Cops do not know what type of cop they are, only that they are cops.

That sounds like a pretty interesting idea for a Micro Mafia. Could it be fleshed out to add more roles?

I'm sure it could, any thoughts on that. The only variation I've seen is to double each role, for a total of 10 players. It's very much a logic puzzle.

You know me. I'll play most anything.

It's late and my mind is not in probability mode, but at first glance it seems like any cop should have an ex ante expectation that his deductions have a 50% chance of being right. So if I detect someone as guilty, that is better than a random guess (since there are fewer than half guilty people) and if I detect someone as innocent it is worse than a random guess.

I would just probably disregard whatever result I get, and just go on the thread itself.

I like it as is. It would be more fun fighting out who I was than finding the baddie :)
