*Semi Closed Setup*

12 Player Game
9 Civs - Find the threats and get them before they get you, dead or alive!
2 Mafia - Become the majority and take control!
1 Indy - πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€

**This game features (abuses) reanimation mechanics. Discussion about the game will not be permitted within a spec chat until a player is permanently removed.**

GAME RULES

Day 2 will feature a double yeet! The 2 players with the most votes at the end of day 2 will be axed!
Ties will be decided at random.
All yeets will result in a flip. Flips are alignment only.
Day/Night cycles are standard Heist 48/24.
Thread will be locked at night. (I understand that some zombies may appreciate some recovery time. Imagine waking up after dying... SHEESH!)
There will be no hammer enacted for this game.
Double targeting is permitted.
No BTSC unless indicated otherwise via dm.
No angleshooting/excessive ATE.

Example Vanilla Civ message:
Congrats! You are a vanilla civilian! Eliminate the threats to the town!
Example Resurrection message:
Congrats! You are back from the dead! You may once again discuss in the thread!

**Keep in mind as reanimation is the theme of this game, so I have attempted to work the numbers to be balanced to the best of my ability, this however does not MEAN that this game is balanced.**

decided to actually put thought into this

I doubt there's resurrections that change alignment unless that's, like, the only power that exists for the team that is doing the resurrection + change

or if there's in-game countermeasures that I don't know about

there may have been such a thing before this setup was down-sized but with a smaller player base I think resurrects + alignment changes are just too powerful and swingy since the proportional effect of changing one slot is much higher

That's pretty much what I thought when I saw it. I figure it's just a just in case thing and is probably only going to be tied to a role changing it's own alignment on revival, kind of like the old Judas thing.

I honestly would not be surprised if that's in the game since the role is basically themed for this style of game and I consider it pretty well known.

I think the best way to treat the possibility of alignment changing upon being revived is to just treat those revived as if they are not the same slot/role/alignment that was prior to death unless someone actually claims the mechanic that lead to their revival in which case they would be judged based on if that is believable or not.

It might not be likely that a lot of people would be changing alignments, but it would be the safer approach.

I'm gonna hedge and say flipped scum coming back as scum over and over makes for a super dull game where we just go into a cycle of flipping the same player over and over.

Anyways, fuck mech talk til we have some flips, it feels like a waste of time.
