I did not buy the magic detecting scroll...with five wolves and only one of them having an artifact it seemed like a very limited prospect for success, even if I had a solid wolf read. I did go to a shrine where there was only one other person and got the same profits I got on N1, and I am taking that to mean uniformity across shrines. N2 I got not quite three times the profits at a shrine that semi-believably had three other visitors, do I'm pretty comfortable that I should be able to say how many people visit whatever shrine I go to.

I can buy something moderately cool today and almost certainly will. Fewer players means chances of a big profit night get smaller, and the super cool things are probably just out of my price range.

My whole problem with your role and how you’ve been playing it is your cavalier attitude towards things. You have bared your sole with info, and have admitted that you’re prime NK fodder, but are still chugging along, holding to buy that cool RC car from the top shelf of Dave n Busters.

Obviously, you were banking on more ‘important’ towns to be killed first, and both KZA and BK were, but I feel like you’re playing like you don’t have an expiration date. You could have a nuke that does a mass extermination of Orcas for all I know.

Secondly, “only one [wolf] having an artifact”. Well, didn’t we all kinda shake our heads and acknowledge that BK was almost guaranteed to fall to the wolves and give up that second artifact? I’m not saying not taking the scroll was a bad move, but your facts are a little undeveloped. Which is odd coming from you

Mac would have wanted Gavial specifically because if he had gotten Gavial he would know I'd have been right back on Mogh today. It's okay little one. Scotty is, in my opinion, pretty much lock town. Once we get this little spat out of his system we are gonna use this red flip and all the green flips and identify enough other towns to get a winning POE...which I will probably be in. It all works out.

Given the way day two ended Flanders/Mogh was always gonna be a wagon today and could easily have just been a runaway IMO. I am less complacent about the Marmot wagon because when there were three tied wagons, including Marmot, things were pretty quiet. Nothing really went apeshit until we got onto Flanders, so I kinda think Marmot is town.

The two times I sheeped Mac were his insane CFD to Flanders, where i second guessed sheeping mac and went back to Qwags, and voting for Tim to get things to talk, where I eventually went back to my first read on marmot.

Other than deep WIFOM there is no reason for a wolf to make that kind of decisive move between two (now confirmed) townies. I might revisit Scotty at end game, but for now he is the central pillar of the town IMO.

honestly I see why instead of being subtle why people just be claiming what they are and what their actions are and stuff now.

I think there’s still a time and place to claim, depending.

Like, we’ve seen this shrine that can learn a target’s race. It was in one of the dead’s roles and Marmot even talks about it. But on the surface, that role sounds suuuuuper useless, since alignments are seemingly randomized.

But I’m sure there’s an ability that makes knowing that important..I just don’t think we need to get crazy without knowing how those actions can affect others

So here is my thinking on EoD...Marmot/Mogh are the wagons that have potential.

I was pretty much at "sure either one."

Mac comes in singing "DADV" and stirring things up and people shuffle feet, but was there really ever any doubt that one of the two mains would go? No there was not.

Wolf Mac, if both mains were villagers, would have been will served to kill Marmot, because if he had I would STILL be trying to kill Mogh.

Mac chose to kill Mogh.

I wanna kill Marmot.

This seems very reasonable to me.

Why change it up at all?
This isn’t the first night he jumped to another wagon- hell, if I recall D2, you started putting pressure on SSF after Marmot started gaining in the poll.

This is something I’ll have to look at, because I’m not convinced Marmot is NOT mafia, but I’m sus that if there was a save attempt for any reason, it would have been him- twice in 2 days.

Because Mac was already starting to look suss to people who know him...to me and to whoever shot him at the least...a Mac NOT vote hopping in the EoD runup? That's a wolf, period, and if he tried that I might have gone for him yesterday...and apparently he didn't do it enough. At some point post game I'll compare notes with whoever shot him and see if we saw the same things...but yeah Mac can't just stand pat there, it would be a dead giveaway.
