Who else has watched/played the black mirror film? It is fascinating and fun and like nothing else. Seriously.

I played through it twice today. Enjoyed it thoroughly. If Netflix continues to pursue this kind of interactive entertainment like it looks like they will be doing, they've got a real winning strategy on their hands.
Spoiler: show
Got most of the minor endings in my first go around before ending up with
Spoiler: show
finding the rabbit
And my second watch through was just to kinda see what I missed.

I think I’ve seen all the endings but I’m not certain.
My favorites are:
Spoiler: show
i go between the one where is is acting on a tv show and the one where he’s all part of a set up and neither his mother or father are actually his mother or father.
I also liked the post ending where
Spoiler: show
Colin’s daughter is creating the game in the future
The specific one you mention I thought was the saddest.

I also love the video game title Easter eggs to other black mirror episodes. And, if you haven’t found it yet, you can go to the tuckersoft website. And apparently there is a way to play nosedive, but you have to download something to be able to play it.

Yeah the easter eggs were great, and all the endings I found I enjoyed. I think my favorite is the post-ending you mentioned or the one I mentioned.

The seamless transition between choices was the most impressive thing for me.

Just finished my first episode of Black Mirror.

DNA doesn't work like that.

Also, fun shit.

Also though
Spoiler: show
If you are so smart, why would you leave your rogue mod connected to be automatically updated if you knew it was going to be deleted?

USS Callister.

That was a fun episode. My advice is not not overthink the science of any of them.

Season 4 is mostly excellent. Overall, throughout the show, there are some great stories with creative story telling and interesting concepts.

I meant to start at the beginning. I was highly amused by the S4E1 episode though. We're looking forward to watching more.

I highly recommend you skip 1:1 (National Anthem), if you haven't already been advised to do so.

Thanks, but I'm a completionist.

By the way, the "Choose your own adventure" thing Netflix is doing: They have it with Minecraft adventures and my kids do it. I was intrigued when I saw your post about them doing it with adult shows.

I believe this is the first adult show, and it's really well done. I highly recommend it.

And I appreciate being a completionist--I'm one, too. Just watch a bunch of episodes before 1:1, so you don't think it's normal for the show, lol. It's, uh.......interesting? (and by interesting, I mean kind of awfully disturbing, and not in the fun way)

"Pilot" episodes (and a couple after) always get a pass from me. I never judge a show from its first go.

What I hate are shows that START strong and suck in the end (LOST)

Hear hear!

USS Callister is maybe my favourite Black Mirror, it really hit me just right. And what an ending!

There's also a Puss in Boots thing IIRC

USS Callister is pretty good but I like a bunch of episodes. Tough to dial in on a favorite. There are a handful that are stinker-duds tho.

I liked Callister as well. Like any anthology show, it's often hit or miss.

But I LOVE the premise on Bandersnatch, and also hope Netflix does more of that type of thing. I have a family party today and plan to turn as many people on to this as I can.

Agree! And I've been telling everyone who will listen to watch (is that the right word?) it, too.

I am also a USS Callister fan. It was fun to watch--and I love some of the actors who were in it so I was predisposed to liking it. I also don't think I could pin down a favorite. I could probably pin down a top 5. Maybe I'll do that later.

Just finished it.

It was okay. I thought
Spoiler: show
It was an intriguing look at the relationship between the traditional media and social media, and I thought it revealed a bit of how hedonistic and voyeuristic people can comfortably become so long as it's in a large group.

Some of it was stupid: Like, you couldn't tell that was not a dainty woman's finger without a DNA test?

And do any of the people at the hospital work?

Got it. I missed your spoilered comments before.

What I didn't like about it is that I felt the shock value aspect was really just there for the sake of shock value, and that it didn't really add anything to the story itself. I do agree with you on the idea of exploring media/social media and hedonism/voyerism.
