So team, easy, moderate, or difficult? I'm leaning toward easy or moderate.

Also if Mudder or Simon Tam happen to be on the crew, we get +2 skill stat.

Hard is probably a no-no with this team number. Medium may be possible if we have the right stats, which I don't know what they are.

I guess we first have to pick a place, right? Then we receive the three missions.

Pick one, Luna.

My stats are +2 attack.
I already selected Harvest - Magistrate Higgins as our location during the day phase.

All I know about the missions is that Easy rewards $1000, Medium $1500, and Hard $2000. Once we select one we will learn what the mission is.

Anyway I say do the medium one but also wait a little to see if the other guys post their skills so if we find out we are too screwed we might change to easy.

I'm Saffron, and I have 2 Diplomacy and 1 Technical. Higgins sounds like a good start, and we have at least two of every stat, which is a good look for us. In the board game jobs usually involve transporting cargo or going to certain planets, so I'm not sure how that will translate here.

Also, I strongly recommend we don't take Niska jobs. If it's anything like the board game (and the show) Niska kills crew members that fail missions.

The way I understand the game probably has a formula that takes our stats into account and then adds some dice roll to decide if we succeed or not.

Never played the board game or seen the show, btw.

There was some confusion for me with the time zones. Night 1 will end at 9 pm EDT, not 8 pm.

Also, if anyone got a screenshot or copied the poll before I stupidly deleted it, let me know. Hosting while driving cross country is not advisable and I was trying to avoid it, but things never seem to go as planned. I am very sorry guys.

Your Captain has chosen to take you to Harvest to attempt to complete the Moderate job from Magistrate Higgins for a payout of $1500

In order to pass this check you must achieve a 9 in the Attack skill.

Unfortunately you don't have either Simon Tam or a Mudder on your crew, so you didn't get a bonus.

If any of you who have any Attack Skill Stats wish to abstain from assisting your captain in completing this job, you may tell me so privately by PM by 8 PM tomorrow night. Once I know who is participating a die will be rolled and added to the total attack stats from your crew that are contributing. The total will determine if you pass or fail.

At the end of N1 I will inform you if you have passed this skill check. In the meantime you may want to discuss strategy amongst yourselves.

According to Daisy's message above, a die roll (d6 I'm assuming) will be added to our total attack bonus. So if we only have my stat, we won't be able to pass this. If we're lucky and roll a 6, we would still need at least 1 more attack bonus from someone on the crew.

A note for the Captain: Money can only be spent and split in denominations of $50 or $100. So you could give someone $150 or $200, but not $160

Hello crew, Spacedaisy has allowed me to post her pm here:
These are the available jobs at Persephone:

Easy - $800 (5 Technical to pass)

Difficult - $1600 (9 Diplomacy to pass)

Additionally these are the modifiers that apply any t Me you work a job for Badger:
-1 Skill stat for Malcolm Reynolds being on your crew
+2 Skill stat for having a smuggler on your crew

I'm going to go ahead and choose easy. I think it's our only option.
DFaraday, you have one technical, so if you lend your stat to the crew, we only need a dice roll of 4, 5, or 6 to pass. Better chances than we had last night.

That 2 tech is helpful, thanks!

I don't know if you can see past polls, but it would be interesting to see who Solkoth placed votes on (If they switched around) on day 1. I may look back at their posts as well.

Going to save my Sokoth analysis in this thread for posting later.
Spoiler: show
Sokoth waffles strongly on Glorf with "maybe he's good" to "but we should watch him" to "but I don't see anything pointing to him being bad. Not sure what the point is here, but he could be casting very cautious shade Glorf's way because he knows Glorf is town.
Sokoth left quite a bit of commentary on Golden and Nova's conversation:
He comments that Golden's case against Nova is "pretty compelling"
But then comments on Nova's response with "Good rebuttal. Golden was starting to have me convinced..."
Nova notices Sokoth sitting on the fence about the whole thing and calls him out for it, to which Sokoth replies with a massive "No U" post. At this point Nova looks pretty good.
Sokoth asks about the DDL train, saying he only noticed "lack of substance" in DDL's posts, and asking if anyone had anything "substantial" on him. Could be an attempt by a teammate to talk through and dispel suspicions on DDL.
Actual player analysis from Sokoth! This should be insightful:
Sokoth puts myself and DrWilgy on the top of his baddie hit list. Which gives me reason to believe DrWilgy is town
Is "leaning bad" on Kylemii. Kylemii may also be town
Sokoth has the same thing to say about DFarady and Lapluie, but the way he says "Lapluie... ? Not really here? LOL", where as for DF he just states: "DFaraday - Not very active. Mostly responsive to post but nothing that really stands out to me." pings me a bit, and looks like he really needs Lapluie to show up. They may be teammates.
Throws suspicion at Marmot unless he can explain why he "threw Mac Under the bus" -could be teammates
Does some serious fence-sitting on speedchuck, and doesn't even end it with a bit of an alignment conclusion. -could be teammates.
That's all I noticed of substance in Sokoth's ISO. My main suspects right now are DDL, Lapluie (who's absent, I know), Marmot, and Speedchuck.
