- Riesen chocolate caramels (I loved those when I was little that's a throwback!!)

- Caramel chocolate "swoop"-like things

A little surprise August silliness in the Holiday Goodie Exchange thread. Back in 2016 I'd done this thing, and through a series of unfortunate and innocent mixups it didn't work out. It's of course all good, shit happens. Eventually both of us forgot about it! But here we are and the exchange is now complete.


Somehow [mention]DrWilgy[/mention] found this random drawing from my Drawception page and turned it into a mug. It is glorious. I am laughing. The unique circumstances of receiving this make it all the more memorable. Thank you very much, Doctor, and for the gift card as well.

It usually gets started earlier but I think with a year like 2020, we could really do with something that helps us feel a little more connected! I wonder if we can set a price limit that also takes shipping into account? Pandemic + life changes = not as much extra cash lying around, but I love giving a few fun things from where we are (and what I make for a living)! I think there was some sort of suggested limit the first year (something around $20, but it wouldn't have to be that), but I haven't seen a concrete one since then in the thread unless I missed it.

Totally understand if people want to keep limits off, and we can participate another year. Yay, holidays!

I am poor this year. HVAC replacement + Insulation replacement + Ballplayers sucking ass = poor.

I believe it has always been intended to be around $20. And I absolutely think we should try to remain within that.

We have a couple who expressed interest in the discord but never made it into this thread, I'll get with them as well. I am going to give this until the end of the day Nov 30 and then send the names out.

Hey hey hey, despite the crazy delays with the USPS, @Boomslang and I got a package in the mail yesterday!



We've sampled everything, and as is our wont, we'll be eating everything in small chunks and pretending it doesn't count as whole cookies or bars of chocolate, because it doesn't Everything is delicious, and I was definitely craving more of the s'mores bark, even as I was working with chocolate ganache in my commercial kitchen today. Woo hoo! The first package! I haven’t got mine in the mail yet. But I plan to within a week.

I sent mine out a couple of weeks ago, and it should have gotten to its destination, hopefully!

My package should've arrived at it's destination on Thursday (I think) (I hope) (please let me know if you got it recipient)

Tracking info says my package should arrive by Monday night. Here's hoping!

So crossing my fingers that my package actually makes it - it's the only one I sent out over the holidays that still says "in transit," according to USPS.

It's a great phone, aside from the size. I paid way too much money for it 2.5 years ago, but hey, it still works great after this much time.
