I didn't really overrule jules I dont think, if she'd expressed a strong preference we would've talked it out. I try to be a pretty accommodating partner.

In general I'm not really concerned about vigs*, but when we have a backup that gives us a 2kp night it's the right play imo

Was a fun game to watch, especially in the later days. Wolves played pretty well. Good job, everyone. Special shoutout to vanity for the solving efforts in the endgame, but I could tell everyone tried to win.

Vigs are pro mafia. Also Roxy hasn't played in ages. Would never have killed them n1.

Yeah I didn't know about that or maybe I'd have humoured it more.

I'm not saying you guys did a bad thing. I don't really care. But you definitely chose a bad mannered kill by it's definition. I fail to see how that's arguable.

I don't really believe in bad mannered kills tbh, if you sign up to play a game the possibility of getting night killed early is part of that game.

I get it is a "game", but it is a "game". For fun and giggles. I hadn't played in a LONG while and Mandi and I both had inklings about Juliets and we could have sent in our kill for her but we basically chose not to bc it has been a long time since I played and since I only know Juliets (I barely know Nutella) I did not want to stop my fun that early bc I wanted to play with her.

Everyone plays with their own personal rule book, I personally would never have killed someone NIGHT ONE if they hadn't played for years (probs would have done it Night 3 or 4). Because it seems mean and I want them to play again.
Like I said to each their own I did not realize a lot of you take this game very seriously with no room for fun and giggles.

also killing the vig gives us a reason why neither me nor poop was shot n1 which is pretty important

Grabbing the vig power via backup was an overwhelmingly good move. Courtesy is great, but expecting it to extend to game throwing is stretchy at best.

Don't claim=don't get killed.

I'm not trying to make you feel bad. I am just not bothered by losing because I figured Juliets wouldn't kill Roxy in her first game in ages.

Nobody asked for my take on this, but I'll say it anyway. I've wanted to voice my opinion about this somewhere for quite a while.

If I'm a wolf and I see a PR claim in the thread, I will kill that person in the night. It doesn't matter how long they haven't played. They chose to inform me they are a PR, and I should act on that information. Especially if my team has figured out a strategy centered around killing the vig. As long as I have confidence they won't be protected, shooting them helps me win the game.

If I have a choice not to kill someone who's recently returned to playing mafia, I will make that choice. But if their role threatens my team, they claim it, and they won't be protected... They need to die. That's me playing toward my wincon. Not an example of bad manners.

Besides, like somebody said earlier, you could consider this an honor. In this case, it wasn't one, judging by the mafia team's explanation. They wanted to kill a PR and use that for their strategy. Whatever reads Roxy had made were less relevant to their decision. But in a vacuum, it is, indeed, an honor to eat the first nightkill.
