Melissa Auf der Maur was my 90s celebrity crush (or was it the early 2000s when she jumped into Smashing Pumpkins? icr)
Oh, and Neve Campbell too. But who didn't love Neve Campbell back then?

Me this round. Yes, the best strategy is to go with what you think any given Czar will find funniest (imo).Hedgeowl wrote:Host- is there a Card czar selected Day 0 or will that be you this round? And K4J, have you read the mechanics, the roles, the rules? Hella complex, eh? Boos games always are and one needs to read and understand them well, because in boo games, ignorance is death. Personally I would prefer to read them when I am under the influence of 8 hours of sleep and a nice cuppa coffee than the influence of a glass of wine and cottage pie, Lol. And three games IS hard to manage, ask anyone who has done it.

Um yeah. He does not write posts just for storytelling. I have played most of his games, i was on break during Viral One, and i have won a few. I LOVE boos games, but they are intense and require attention and concentration. Not easy when you don't read the posts, lol.
Just be glad he did not do the Mechanics posts in aqua lol.

It's a metaphorical explanation of how the Card Czar role in particular works, and how the game in general works, an explanation of how this game works irl for those who have never played it. Like me. It explains the basic way it works, and how it may transition into an online Mafia style version
At least thats how I read it.
i also made a big point of it as i would like Llama to CONCEDE that i may have said something he could AGREE with for once in our lives. yeah, theres that too

I know, that is why I think no one said anything. Here that color is reserved for non players, basically a fluff color, so he does run the risk of not having his posts read by people who have never played at this site before. The see that color and breeze right past it, which I would guess is the opposite of what K4J wants people to do with his posts.
Just a culture thing, not an important one.

I did not know that blue was anything, I thought only orange/red/green were things. If it is trouble for anyone that I am posting in this color, then I will certainly stop. Just let me know, okay?
Anyways, the game does look complex, I wasn't arguing with that statement or the fact that 3 games is a lot. It seems you're missing my point. My point was that it was coming across more of an excuse to me. Although, I feel a little better knowing it was about the set-up, as I at first took it as just getting into the game in general.

I only said it as someone (INH, I believe) said they found it suspicious.
And, no, I got your point. Which is why i explained it literally, it is a real thing for me, not an excuse. I would have problems being a low poster, lol. Ask anyone who knows me. I never shut up.

And you seem keen to get llama to agree with you
And if you ask a question, you should expect answers. What was it that i was asking for?

Maybe I was wrong, maybe you're not looking for his approval but rather trying to distance yourself from him ...S~V~S wrote:Um, we have a reputation for...spirited disagrementFZ. wrote:I didn't really mean for you to answer my question. And you just said that every story is really important and you can't miss a word. Just wanted to make sure you actually stood behind what you said. Glad to know you did

Actually it is just playful banter, we do ALOT of that around here, we have not, and never will discourage fluff.

S~V~S, FZ thinks we're on a team! Isn't that funny? I don't think we've ever been a team, have we?FZ. wrote: Maybe I was wrong, maybe you're not looking for his approval but rather trying to distance yourself from him ...

Wait, FZ, are you being serious about them possibly distancing themselves?

I know. I'm just teasing you. Don't take me seriously...or do. I'm in a weird mood. Ignore meS~V~S wrote:Actually it is just playful banter, we do ALOT of that around here, we have not, and never will discourage fluff.
@linki: no, Kitty. It was a joke. But it doesn't mean they can't be.

Yes, that's why she gets upset f you don't use sarcastic orange or smilies to signal your intentions. I, on the other hand, have a sense of humor.FZ. wrote: Does SVS always regard everything at face value?

Do too have one, I laugh a lot and so do those who know me well~ but I have been lynched SO MANY TIMES for blowing off a question i thought was a joke, lol. For me suspicions are srs bsns, and if someone asks me a question i do them the courtesy of assuming they are serious.

I'll keep it in mind. I agree that suspicions are serious business, and if you don't contribute, why bother playing. That said, sarcasm is a serious business too
@linki: That would paint most of the thread orange. By the way, is that how you do the linki, or is there an actual feature for that?
