I have been thinking about the song titles and came to the same thought you did.... which is why I chose A Day in the Life. Day & Life being the operative words. I don't know the lyrics though...

A Day in the Life is my personal favorite, but the lyrics make me nervous.

I read the news today oh, boy
About a lucky man who made the grade
And though the news was rather sad
Well, I just had to laugh
I saw the photograph
He blew his mind out in a car
He didn't notice that the lights had changed
A crowd of people stood and stared
They'd seen his face before
Nobody was really sure if he was from the house of lords

I saw a film today oh, boy
The english army had just won the war
A crowd of people turned away
But I just had to look
Having read the book
I'd love to turn you on.

Woke up, fell out of bed
Dragged a comb across my head
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup
And looking up, I noticed I was late
Found my coat and grabbed my hat
Made the bus in seconds flat
Found my way upstairs and had a smoke
And somebody spoke and I went into a dream
Ah

I read the news today oh, boy
Four thousand holes in blackburn, lancashire
And though the holes were rather small
They had to count them all
Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the albert hall
I'd love to turn you on

The bit about the car especially makes me nervous, death is usually something to avoid in a game of mafia.

^This. And if there is ever a night when we need a NK not to go through, it is tonight. We HAVE to start lynching baddies, it's getting out of hand. So I'm voting for the benefit of mr. kite.

RIP Vomp.. again :( We'll try our best to avenge you. :hugs:

For No One

Kate had been singing along with every song, enjoying the show to the fullest despite all the murdering and what not. She figured it was the only thing she could do, if she worried too much over the deaths she would be a basket case. And a little murder didn't change the fact that she was here, watching this amazing show!

One of the Teachers spied her from across the room and decided she was having too much fun, so they crossed the room with full intent to put a stop to that when suddenly an MC was making an announcement.

"Ladies and gentleman, step right this way for the greatest show on earth, Mr. Kite's Marvelous Circus, guaranteed a splendid time for all!"

Suddenly the room was flooded by various circus acts. The Teacher watched Kate sullenly. There were too many people here now to safely kill her, so he would have to leave her alone for now.

No one died tonight! It is now Day 6 and you have 24 hours to lynch someone.

Unfortunately for you, choosing Mr. Kite last night turned this lynch into a circus... Have fun sorting it out.
:)

Sorry to spam but I'm just confused :( "The Ringmaster" - possibly referring to Mr. Kite. But are we voting on what ROLE to lynch, or what person, is my concern :/

At the moment the clown car looks like what chaindeath will be voting for because it seems silly. Everyone needs to start talking though, or everyone will die :(.

That's a good point - as far as the silly people go, clowncar would maybe be a good choice. If we want to lynch a teacher, maybe the lion tamer?

Chaindeath is voting for the clowncar character, he feels that since the silly people lynch tonight that killing one of them off might give a better chance for roleblocking or protecting someone.

I agree with chaindeath as a clown car is a rather silly thing to be, and a silly thing to be in.

on another note. I'm wondering if its possible to accidentally vote for yourself, not knowing that it is in fact yourself that you are voting for...

Bring Out The Clowns

Amidst the chaos of acrobats swinging from the rafters, a man putting his head in a lion's mouth, a motorbike jumping through a flaming ring, and Mr. Kite coordinating it all, the audience members came to a decision. Chaindeath yelled, "Bring out the clowns!"

An impossibly tiny car raced into the room and came to a screeching halt, the door opened and out tumbled clown after clown, honking laughing and gesturing wildly as they fell all over each other. Last out of the car was insertnamehere. The other concert goers leaped on him, blindfaeth pulled various handkerchiefs of all colors strung together out of his sleeve and wrapped it around his neck while Vloddamick grabbed the other end and they pulled it tight, cutting off INH's air supply. His face turned purple, then blue, and finally he quit struggling. DharmaHelper checked his pockets and found the razor sharp credit cards.

INH has been lynched, he was a Silly Person.

It is now Night 6. You have 24 hours to send in your night actions and choose the next track.

I really think A Day in the Life is a good option to pick today. Let's look at the lyrics below. Free cocktails if you vote with me!* :wine:

I read the news today oh, boy (what's better than news?)
About a lucky man who made the grade (what's better than lucky? what's better than grades? )
And though the news was rather sad glad (what's better than glad??)
Well, I just had to laugh (what's better than laughter?? :ponder: )
I saw the photograph (Seeing things is a blessing. Being able to see yourself 20 years from now dressed in your leotard is even better~)
He blew his mind out in a car (Obviously we're talking about the Silly People here. Very good thing when baddies NK themselves :haha: )
He didn't notice that the lights had changed (Or maybe he ran through a red light and SUCKERIN SUCCOTASH)
A crowd of people stood and stared (that's us, the civvies! :hugs: )
They'd seen his face before (Billy Mayes! :zombie: )
Nobody was really sure if he was from the house of lords

*Free cocktails not provided.

Well I'm thinking good morning, good morning. What is a good morning in mafia? One with no deaths. So there ya go.

Nothing to do to save his life call his wife in
Nothing to say but what a day, how's your boy been
Nothing to do it's up to you,
I've got nothing to say but it's OK
Good morning, good morning

Going to work don't want to go feeling low down
Heading for home you start to roam then you're in town
Everybody knows there's nothing doing
Everything is closed it's like a ruin
Everyone you see is half asleep
And you're on your own, you're in the street
Good morning, good morning

After a while you start to smile, now you feel cool
Then you decide to take a walk by the old school
Nothing has changed, it's still the same
I've got nothing to say but it's OK.

People runing round it's five o'clock,
Everywhere in town it's getting dark,
Everyone you see is full of life,
It's time fot tea and meet the wife

Somebody needs to know the time, glad that I'm here
Watching the skirts you start to flirt now you're in gear
Go to a show you hope she goes
I've got nothing to say, but it's OK
Good morning, good morning...

Get Back

After the chaos of the circus, tonit felt eerily quiet. The Silly Person was watching blindfaeth, but it was too quiet, any action would have drawn attention. So blindfaeth lived to another day.

In the midst of this very quiet night, in walked Devin. "Hi guys!" he said as he entered.

They all just stared at him in disbelief.

No one has died, Devin has been rezzed!

It is now Day 7 and you have 24 hours to lynch someone. Good luck!

Thank you for saving me Mr. Kite! :hugs:

Yes Kate, I don't see another way for there to be good intentions behind Devin's rez, unless maybe it was an effect of the song we chose somehow. Still, he couldn't be an original silly person, since we killed one last night and SD didn't tell us a team was eliminated, so one was still alive. If he's bad, he's recruited, and TBH I'd rather hold off on hurting Devin until we have reason to suspect him. I say we go for Conor again? In honor of Vomp.

Also I just thought, maybe the silly people tried to rezz INH but it was redirected because of the song? I don't see a way in the roles for targets to be switched but. I'm just trying to flesh out why they'd rez Devin instead of INH.
