Just don’t think he’s scum on the team I’m prioritizing today
SVS and tranq are also votes I’m happy with. Maybe even Dom, though he seems kinda different than what I remember from being his teammate.
I expect more from her by now in terms of reacting to stuff and asking a lot of questions. She's kinda like juliets in that she asks a lot of questions, and (somewhat unlike juliets) I believe that it pretty strongly indicates her town meta when she does, and she has a hard time replicating it as scum. I know she was offline for a bit but I still feel like I haven't seen as much as I expect from her since day 1.Sloonei wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 11:23 pmwhat is michelle's meta and why/how is she not on it?MacDougall wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 9:35 pmI can't remember why I thought tranq was bad. Thanks but I’m gonna hunt the team I have info on. I don’t really believe there’s independently scummy in a multiball game, not without meta knowledge I don’t haveSloonei wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 11:30 pmHunt in all directions. I liked the point you made about sabie's jack stuff, and so he is on my list of potentials there, but for the most part I believe I have had more reason to townread him than not, so he's not a priority at the moment. I haven't done a ton of retrospective digging though, and could be convinced if more associative ickyness is brought to light.
"Would not lynch" is language for a 1-scum-team game. It's forgivable if Colin simply reverted back to normal habits here, but the word choice caught my eye and I want to highlight it. I agree with the assessment that Jay and Mac (and me) are not likely to be on Radishes' team, but that's not the same as saying I "would not lynch" either of the other two. I probably won't vote to lynch myself today.ColinIsCool wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 2:28 pm Would lynch based on Radishes flip: sabie, Jack

I’m leery of Dom. A lot of his posts seem to be making points/arguments that expose someone’s bad logic but are not actual scumhunting. This in tandem with his tendency to just say “you’re scum” to people, in place of a crafted argument, gives me heeby jeebies. It is entirely possible I’m projecting because I butted heads with him so I’d like others to check him out.
I pulled this up before seeing that Dizzy was dead, but I want to address it anyway in case this is a lingering issue for anyone else: When SVS asked Radishes about his use of the word "baddie", it was in the context of a relatively casual conversation between Radishes and myself about his meta and mafia history. We were talking about mafia gameplay in a low-stakes general sort of way. SVS happened to be strolling by and, as an old school Syndicate regular, got excited to see a foreigner using our in-house vocabulary, so she took an interest. The question could very well have been asked in OT green. It was a non-issue and I said as much at the time.Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 4:59 pm Speaking of, I will do that ISO of SVS some time, with an open mind.
But I recall one thing that bothered me in the first place. It was how when she asked Radish about the "baddie" word, and Sig ran away with it, she said that she didn't think it was a slip at all. And it was really strange to me then why she bothered to ask. I guess she was just "making conversation", but that also seems kind of weird to me. Also, iirc, she kind of disappeared a bit, or at least let Sig take over after she brought it up. It just left me feel one type of way.
SVS probably think I'm like full on scum reading her, for all the "shade" I'm throwing. But that's really not the case. There's just something in the back of my mind that irks me.
I feel like you're discounting the idea that getting a flip from one team can actually lead to reasons to suspect that someone is on the other team. Sure it's not as direct, but it's not the same as going off of nothing.NANOOKTHEGREATANDFEARSOME wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 11:39 pmThanks but I’m gonna hunt the team I have info on. Yes, and backed off of him. We did a fun little dance.

"It's out of the question!" The heroes could hear the Monitor arguing with Harbinger from an antechamber. "If you try to wield power like that, it will consume you!" They couldn't hear Harbinger's voice as she replied. "You know the price... it's not yet time."
Harbinger strode quickly from the room, her face sad and angry. Seeing the heroes, she moved to them, saying, "He's wrong, I do have the power! We need to act now, before he's ready for us! Follow me!"
The heroes gathered behind her as she took them to a tightly sealed room, with three-foot thick titanium walls and door. "This room will shield the rest of the universe from what we're doing here. I'm going to open a portal to the Anti-Matter universe so that you can take this fight directly to the Anti-Monitor!"
The heroes looked uneasy. "I thought the Monitor said you couldn't-" began Agatha, before Harbinger cut her off sharply.
"We can't just sit around, waiting to get picked off by shadow demons!" She stood in the centre of the room, and held her arms up. "The Anti-Matter universe will feel rather strange, and crossing over creates a bit of reality shear, so try to hang on to your sense of self." Her hands glowed brightly, and an energy vortex formed in front of her.
Aja gulped. "My sense of self? What?"
"Ho ho hooo!" laughed Santa. "I guess we'll find out! Hope we've all been good!"
With that, the portal exploded open, and waves of force began emanating from it, causing the heroes to squint and shield their faces. "Move through!" cried Harbinger. "I don't know how long I can - AAIIIEEE!!" The glow from her hands began to spread down her arms to her shoulders. "GO!!"
The heroes rushed for the portal, but as they went through, they could see a few of the Anti-Monitor's goons waiting to ambush them on the other side. As they met, the clash of universes warped reality, causing normally stable things like distance, time, and proportion to vary wildly. After a quick battle which neither side was fully prepared for, the heroes broke through. King Dedede looked back once to Harbinger, whose entire body was covered by the glowing energy, and as the portal began to close behind them, the energy seemed to consume her entirely. Or did it? He couldn't be sure.
The portal snapped shit and vanished, and in the sudden silence, the heroes began to take stock of their situation, which included a couple of dead bodies.
Dyslexicon has been killed!
sabie12 has been killed! She was Uncle Fester, a baddie on the Anti-Monitor's team, from Addams Family Mafia by Epignosis.
Day 3 has begun!
How am I a mixed review?Sloonei wrote: ↑Tue Mar 03, 2020 12:21 am I left Dom and Epi off of the joint list. Both of them were listed as "incidentally present" on my list, which wasn't really a judgment of alignment either way. Radish named them as names, but didn't have a ton to say about either of them. Jay had Epi in his top tier of green reads, and Dom in the orange tier.
So put Epi in the "mixed reviews" category and Dom in "neutral/negative".
Why?
