If you shoot me, we lose. I don’t know what else I can say to convince you of that but I would really really really hate for the game to end that way.

Busy night. I agree with the plan for Daisy to shoot sprityo. Also, Epi should be able to confirm whether he targeted me last night. Nothing bad happened to me in the night so if he targeted me it didn't hurt me, thank you Epi. That would rule Epi out in my mind from being PP. Also I can confirm Daisy targeting Golden after hinting is what caused Golden to call her civ.

Scotty, rip damn it. I'm hopeful we will win anyway though.

What else? I'm going to read Colin but are there any other questions directed toward me?

I can't tell whether she used the shot late and speed just wasn't awake or whether she waited. I guess we'll see soon.

This leaves me with Colin and Sprityo.
how do you know epi's target?
I tracked Epi last night.
On the one hand, I am mad at myself that I did what I did, namely, I protected Scotty and then went back and changed my mind after a quick second thought, because I've done such a bad job determining what other people would do, and I wanted to make sure juliets survived since she was the beneficiary of the poll. I was assuming Scotty was going to protect juliets, but I didn't want to take any chances. So the bad news is had I left things alone, there would not have been a vanishing and we'd be better off numerically. :sigh:

It’s only logical that it be Epi and Kyle. Unless daisy or Colin is pulling one over on me
Speaking of logic:

To say “there’s no way someone would buss their entire team” is the kind of thinking that the town fucks up on and loses to.

And if you think Epignosis of all people wouldn’t do some crazy gambit like that, then be my guest.
Ahem.

How many times do I have to say that I NEVER PROTECT TEAMMATES. Literally never because it is the stupidest thing to do.

Go read Economics, where I bussed my entire team early and rode it to the end. That's how you win as scum. Not protecting someone who had just been outed as having a 50% chance of being bad.
*Looks at Epignosis' win record*

*Counts how many times Epignosis threw teammates under the bus*
If anything this bolsters my argument

I won't do it because you think I'm too scared, or you think I won't do it because you clustering.

I won't use it on someone unless I am fairly confident in their alignment. Because I don't particularly want to end up dead.

But that is hardly a way to convince me of this sprityo. I'm town, it would be better if you convinced me you are town too. I can see a mafia utility in your role, and I can see how Colin's claims seem weak. I'm leaning you too, but I'm not ruling out Kyle or Epi 100%.
I adamantly believe sprityo is bad. My concern lies in if Colin is bad, would he be able to predict the next election and give himself a double vote for Day 6?

I suppose the way your gun works is that it functions as a free lynch (either your target or yourself).

I think this will work out ok, I just want to remind everyone that I have to vote early tomorrow morning at the latest because I will be traveling tomorrow. I should arrive at my destination before EOD BUT the last time we made this trip the internet didn't work when we got there and we had to wait for someone who knew how to make it work. So, I want to be prepared just in case that happens by voting before we leave.

No dude you were in a tough predicament. I was trying to coerce them into shooting at Scotty because I wanted them to feel like you had protected Juliets, I had protected Spacedaisy and Scotty had protected you. It worked. The last part of the plan was for you to switch but it relied on telepathy which is always a risky proposition.

I am going by the assumption that Colin completely made up his role mechanism actually. Especially given he has apparently failed to predict an election yet. I believe he has a function based on prediction but I don't think he gets a double vote. I think it's more likely that it gets him one shot abilities such as strongarm kills etc.

Actually that's about all we have in common. She's always good for a cigarette, chat and a drink. Unfortunately the topic of conversation is usually her asking about the comings and goings of her estranged ex husband and her juvenile dating behaviours. It's as awkward as it sounds and I do not enjoy it.

Why were you so sure I wouldn't get targeted? I was sure I was going to get targeted based on the fact that I thought everyone else was protected and out of the "POE" pool I was the least likely to be protected.

FYI if anyone has any doubt that Epignosis is town, I think this almost clears it up. There is no reason for a Mafia Epignosis to post this. There's no way for anybody to disprove that he targeted me, so it would be in Mafia Epi's best interest to let me believe there are strongarm kills.

you know that song "Just Like Heaven"? the one that goes "show me show me show me how you do that trick"? sometimes it plays at our store and it's kinda like.... wow isn't that a little on the nose to be playing that song in a store that sells dog training?

I mean it's still a great song. It's probably my favorite song and definitely the best song Depeche Mode has ever done.

DAY 5A

A gun is drawn aboard the time zepplin!

"Wait!" the tour guide says. "It'll depressurize the cabin!"

But the gun goes off, tearing an improbable hole in the wall of the zepplin. Both shooter and target are carried toward the hole. One flies out, and the other manages to hold on.

You won’t do it
I won't do it because you think I'm too scared, or you think I won't do it because you clustering.

I am going by the assumption that Colin completely made up his role mechanism actually. Especially given he has apparently failed to predict an election yet. I believe he has a function based on prediction but I don't think he gets a double vote. I think it's more likely that it gets him one shot abilities such as strongarm kills etc.
Just to clear things up, I've never targeted you. The Night you departed I had protected Spacedaisy, beveling that surely one of she, Scotty, or Golden/juliets would be the target.
He’s playing you completely Mac. He has no reason to make that post except that it portrays him so strongly as town. I have no idea what he does in reality but I am not bad so it has to be him.

sorry, saying "nice work spacedaisy" implies that spacedaisy is the only person who brought sprityo's villainy to light, obviously it was a group effort and Mac you made that big case and everything I'm just kinda excited rn and spacedaisy is the one who pulled the trigger

I can’t reconcile the idea that Epi targeted Juliet’s as him being anything by Doctor. If I put my tinfoil hat on, the best I could come up with there is that my tracker I got was a trickery type item, intended to make him look good. If that’s the case, and the game doesn’t end after Colin dies then I’ll consider Epi. But I highly doubt at this point that he’s bad. I’m fairly certain lunching Colin will end the game.

It was a huge group effort for sure Kyle. You replicated my night action, someone brought Mac back, Mac made the case, Golden/Juliet’s helped narrow the PoE throughout the game.

only thing I can think of is like a technically invisible negative power like turning her vote to 0, or a role block. but a role block might have been detectable for juliets maybe?
