I think Gira’s plan here is to make “fake clears” for themselves.
Not only Tess, look at Alison and Gira’s interaction and watch it both go from SR to TR for the entire rest of the game.

Seems like an easy way to hard defend your scum buddy without looking bad if you ask me.

I thought Tess was PR and when they claimed it and outed I was sure it was just Wigly but after Wigly claiming and Ender outing it made more sense that Tess is just scum here who killed Luck because Luck was onto them.
