While I townread epi, it's not inconceivable to me that TSP and Epi are aligned. From Tony's pov, I don't know why epi and I can't be aligned. Not sure on Epi's pov on TSP and Proto being aligned.

Hard to see on mobile but if the bit in bold is that you aren't sure that proto and epi are not aligned, why are you pushing this set of 3 players?

This is not prescriptive or intended to be. This is me floating an idea. Apologies in advance if any language or tone offends - unintentional. If people disagree or have improvements etc I think it's super helpful to discuss, try to get consensus and see if Nutella likes it. If Nutella dislikes it obviously ignore it all.

I feel like we should tally bunker saves left and who has how many and try to work backwards to the endgame. If anyone disagrees with this, happy to discuss it. I'm not 100% sure what is optimal. As such I guess please don't publicise your saves remaining until consensus.

If Nutella has any people she is literally never shooting and is happy to lose to, I think Nutella should share this pool. Ideally 2 or 3 people. Even 1 person is better than zero but if Nutella is uncomfortable making such a list, we can find another solution.

These people should protect Nutella at night - max 2. This is a " we always lose to this team" list.Nutella may not have one. If so, then I think pick 3 towny people where there can be no partners between them if deep wolf.

I think Nutella should nominate 2 additional people from POE to maybe save into her never kill list. Everyone else requested to holster. These 2 people are not instructed to save into never kill but given an elective to save into the specified pool or holster. Probably bias to something like 65% holster. You aren't really trying to save but rather discourage night KP into the protected pool.

Aim is to use as few bunker saves as possible on Nutella. Reduce POE in a helpful way for Nutella by trying to use all bunker saves minimally from her never kill list first if she has one.

Try to force no kill (not bad for town if we expend the absolute minimum bunker saves) or pressure shots into POE that helps Nutella narrow her POE. Beyond the never kill list I think Nutella shouldn't list her POE order to keep aliens blind.

Trying to save other people is still bad imo since most people have 3 saves left and some 2. It's like spending 1 bunker save to net 1 or 2 if you guess correctly. Guessing correctly doesn't even help town that much if it would have helped Nutella if they died.

So again, I talk in absolutes (good bad etc) as if I know this is all correct. I don't. It's an idea I have with opinions. If it's bad, please discuss it with everyone and ideally convince us why, and even better make an alternate suggestion.

There's 8 non Nutella players with 2 aliens and we need 2 town protects. The rng math is as below so if Nutella picks the towniest people, it should never be worse than a rng pick.

So we need town town so that's 6/8 X 5/7 on a rng pick 2. That's 30/56 so 54%. That feels not that comfortable to have as a backup % if the reads are bad.

On a rng pick 3, it's anything except town mafia mafia.

Town mafia mafia in any combo is 6/8 X 2/7 X 1/6 X 3 so that's 36/336 so that's 10.7% which means on an rng pick 3 we get at least 2 town saves 89.3% of the time. Should be higher with towny people in it since we are fine 90% on a blind pick of 3. People may have different views on the cost benefit of increasing 90% safe to 100% safe at the cost of one additional bunker save. I think it's better to preserve the saves.

So I guess in the end, I kind of like Tony's plan for a pick 3 except Nutella should pick the 3.

For full disclosure since it's my proposal and I'm being townread, once a town has no bunker saves left, aliens will never kill them.

It's to alien wincon to be able to claim no saves remaining because it explains why you never die at night. It's kind of why I am for getting the info and hated any saves not on Nutella in early days.
