Hmm... is this something suspicious from Scotty? Roxy implies it, maybe. I feel like he has been in recent games where this has come up and been discussed. If you look at it from one angle, a Scotty that already knows the answer to a question he's asking is a Scotty that is being fake... maybe a Scotty trying to subtly put suspicion Roxy's way.

Or maybe not! It's a stretch. Maybe this is ME trying to put suspicion SCOTTY's way! I'll look into it.

If we’re all part of a band, (all playing guitar) and some are trying to sabotage our show, I ask anyone that’s here:
-what kind of guitar do you play? What does it look like?
-are you more of a support or do you want the solos?
-what is your ideal venue?

Go
* My friends son is trying to get this guitar for Christmas. My friends husband isn't sure the son is serious enough about it to justify the expense. It's acoustic electric which apparently amplifies the acoustic sound primarily for stage use; hubby isn't sure Sonny needs that. We'll see. My friend think she'll chip in half if her son manages to save half. But to get to the question, I'd play this. I think it's gorgeous, and since I failed at lessons, as an acoustic I wouldn't much be harrassing others when I play it.

Image

*Support. IRL I think I'd make a fab personal assistant, I love pulling the strings and making things happen in the background. So standing in the background, mentally planning the bands next move, holding my lovely guitar without actually playing it, would be the place for me. A place where I could watch people rather than them watching me. This is what I'd like, but it seldom happens lol. I generally try pushing the front man out of the way , with varied degrees of success.

*For a band I was in? Someplace dark with a large stage I could fade back on. For a band I worked for? A place with an office with plants and a big window I could use to figure out who was trying to sabotage us by poring over concert footage.
[/quote
]
Never got into electric. Something about the tuning felt too naked when learning. But I like the idea of getting them to half pay.

You prefer support, eh? Does that also translate to mafia? Like, when you’re mafia, do you tend to hang in the background and not powerwolf, or does this analogy not relate?
It does translate. Day one I play pretty much the same, i think. I tend to be a bit more haphazard when I'm town, say stupid shit, etc. I look for a hook when town, something that someone says that seems not right. Then I become kind of a PITA. But I need the hook. When I'm bad, I try to avoid "being" the hook. "Almost too smooth" someone called it once, and they were right. I'm never a PITA when I'm bad.
So I’m looking for you to be almost too smooth like baby’s ass

Got it.

Do you not think you can replicate your town game as mafia?
First, I think self meta is mostly pointless since anyone can say anything they want to, but I think this is pretty much something anyone who knows me well could confirm.

So, yes, I could, but it would be awkward and weird for me to do so, and anyone who knows me would have to notice it. I'm so much more careful when bad, I polish my posts, reread them a few times, try to catch all the "becasue"s. I try harder to not say anything incendiary or that will annoy people too much. It's hard to fake carelessness, and my town game is more spontaneous.
This is such a strange dichotomy, because you’re saying here that you don’t believe in putting stock in metas, while also acknowledging that you have one that others that know you can pick out.

Like, this is me maybe being paranoid for the nth game in a row now with you, because I don’t know what smooth or spontaneous looks like
All righty then. This looks like fault finding rather than a genuine concern. I think your paranoia is getting the better of you.

You asked me a question, I said I felt the answer was of questionable value, but answered it anyhow.

I do feel self meta should be taken with a grain of salt; that said, I can still give you an interpretation of mine. Whether you take that at face value or not is up to you.

This is not something you should need explained.

LC feels lackadaisical and his reads are a bit random from my perspective.
His tone this game reminds me of our last game where he was my top scumread and he was very VT. So I’m not good at reading him.

Because I have the memory of a goldfish, I also faintly remember his sock puppet scum game which fooled me. That one seemed a bit more investigative?? Maybe? But i think I have to throw that one out for meta as it wasn’t *really* him.

So in conclusion: 🤷🏼‍♂️

There was a time (a long time of my mafia career) where I would vote a no poster over a poster d1. But I find that strategy archaic

the fact that timmer has posted ‘I’m here’ says infinitely more than exactly a shot in the dark. How does that not make sense?

Have you read our ISOs?

I made a rudimentary reads list, and listed Roxy as "Trying to move things along, good look" (paraphrase).

Why would I "engage" someone for no reason? We had a small, couple posts, convo about low posters, but she hasn't said anything else I felt required "engaging".
Reading you and Roxy has been more of a cursory read, and from memory I didn’t recall you two interacting much less reading each other

So do you townread her atm based on what limited talking has happened?
so do you if you are being honest.....
so do I what?

I think SVs and Roxy are the wolves. :guitar:
if I am a wolf why are you voting Timmer.

I dare you to put your money where your mouth is.
Says the person who isn’t voting

Nah, I’ll keep flitting around, thanks

Q: why should I not vote timmer?

They've stated they are traveling for 48 hrs, seems less than ideal.
This is not a viable excuse not to vote.

I’ve been traveling the past few days. I’m still weighing in on things, making stances. I don’t feel like I should have a pass

I have a set of ideas for tone with Town Rox, not unlike with Kate, she's easier for me to find than bad Rox, I got a clear picture of her town game from an adversarial position in Se7en, where I watched her very closely. Town Roxy has a wide focus, she looks at everyone, she doesn't much tunnel, and she evolves. So yes, especially since most of the limited talking has been generated by her. That's who I see here, and I don't recall ever seeing this when Rox was bad. So i won't town core anyone before voting/results, but I town lean her, yeah.

SVS ok so far I guess

Scotty has given me pause with his line of questioning and I feel like he has and agenda - town or bad I do not know yet

but that LC list is something....I need some answers.
My agenda is to get discussion going, which I guess I’m doing, even if it’s at my own expense lol

I've seen two people wolfread JPIC, and one townread him.

He hasn't made one post.

How is this possible?

Jpic is a construct. He is who you want him to be

I view him as a polite can of beans

I have never played with anyone in this playlist before, who do you think are good wolves here and how comfortable do you feel in the playerlist?
I do feel comfortable with this playlist. Now that that Hal guy's gone. :haha: Either way, you are the newest player to me on this list. Everyone else is someone I've played with 3 million times.

falcon45ca - Town
hal - robyn
Justplayingitcool - Lean Scum
Long Con - I can't read this guy
Roxy - Scum
Seanzie - Lean town
Scotty - Lean Scum
S~V~S - Town
timmer - Scum

How about that?

Why am I town?

Why is Scotty scum?
No, wait it's only LC that is wolf/town reading people on one post. Somehow LC's list got attributed to Falcon.

I forgot to ask this earlier but I got a few questions:

How do read Seanzie as town when they haven't posted at all?

How do you read Justplayingitcool as a baddie when they haven't posted at all?

You skipped "Hal" what is your read on them?

Why do you read me as a baddie?

Maybe LC, based on that reads list, maybe you based on fairly opportunistic looking Timmer vote. Have you ever played with Timmer?

Again, to better explain why voting a no poster on D1 is bad:

We learn absolutely nothing if they flip town. And it’s exactly random, unless you are arguing that every player that has posted is towncore.

I doubt it, at least one of you that has posted is a filthy roadie and not actually part of the band

seanzie no or 1 posted in the last game, and signups for this game were presumably ancient, we kill seanzie because of that (strictly inactivity)

rather than timmer who will appear
