They hard called you wolf off some opening post NAI stuff and you just fluffed that off, but you are uncomfortable with an equally unfounded town read?
It’s far more dangerous to town lock someone early than it is to sus. That’s how town gets shazammed by a towny mafia
Well, presuming that you are town getting bumrushed by tunnelers before the day even gets started is definitely bad for your victory conditions (if you really get hard tunneled that will give the wolves every opportunity to just luff through day one), where a poor town read probably won't hurt you for several days at least.
Meh. I’m used to being a target early because I’m manic. Doesn’t mean I can’t get stuff done. I like discussion. I’m the guy that brings frisbees, whiffle balls and monopoly to the football game in case spectators get bored.
Fair. But it is true that an early "town core" isn't an immediate tragedy, especially since if me, Mac, and Alison are all alive going through the midgame I can pretty well guarantee that the kumbaya hold hands and dance together bit will meet a messy end of tinfoil and tribulations unless we have just slaughtered wolves right left and center to prove to each other that we are on the straight and narrow path. Townreads legit don't do any harm unless they carry to late game.
Town read = / = town lock
Potayto, potahto...day one reads aren't locked to endgame no matter what words are used.
Alison is a lock town sure thing never rescind take it to the BANK!!!!*
*terms and conditions apply...town status subject to re-evaluation without notice...statements arenot to be quoted
p sure mine are going to be this game

I'm also the GM of the LA Kings.
Radim Vrbata for Jason Blake. I want a young PWF tbh. Posting in this font cause this isn't relevant to game

Can’t decide Gavial? Don’t worry! Wheel decide for you!
That’s right ladies and gentleman! For this game I’ll be using the wheel decide for my reads! I’ll spin the wheel to determine my results.
During Day 1 (that’s today) I’ll be putting 11 Null Town, 7 Lean Town, 5 Town, 2 Lock Town, 9 Null Scum, 5 Lean Scum, 3 Scum and 1 Lock Scum as options in the wheel and spin it for every player in the game!
Then for the next days I’ll be spinning to see if I should change my reads. “Yes” means I do and “No” means I don’t change it.
If it is “Yes” I’ll be doing Up 1, Up 2, Up 3, Down 1, Down 2, Down 3 to determine the next new read change.
If it’s already Lock Scum/Town I’ll remove the
Up/Down which ever it is and add a “4” to it.
Once I’m free I’ll start doing the reads!
A man of science I see
Can't question a bulletproof method like this. Heard it passed peer review.

I don't know most of the roster, but Gavials post gave me itchy eyes. Like I was in an outhouse or something.
hes known to have that effect, if it hasn't cleared up by the end of the day try applying a vote and see if that helps

Regardless Scotty has towntold a bit in the last couple of pages so I must search for scum elsewhere.
I'm currently thinking the way Flanders jumped on Falcon was bad.
How so? I don’t think anything I’ve said in the past few pages is any different.
And if what I did was towntell, why am I the only one with question marks pinned to my hat as to why no one else knows what shrines do?

little disappointed. I thought laddergoat was from elder scrolls and not skyrim.

You aren't the only one. Clearly there are some people with characters with greater specifics on shrines, and then there are lesser character types (like merchants) that don't. I started out thinking Alison was suss for info, you started out thinking I was suss for lack of it, people are coming in on both sides so it's probably all NAI. Moving on.

So, historically this is where I make the one word post; "first" and then dip for several hours. I have always found that amusing, since I am never actually first. However, I have been putting off a change in playstyle for several games due to an unfortunate series of rands and the opportunity has finally arrived. No one word humor driven first post. No threadsitting fluff posting. No obnoxiously refusing to give reads. I'm just here to town it up and if the wolves NK me for it that's fine.
I wanted to do this in GoC but that vig rand; I had to play it to stay alive. I have read through all the rules and such in the OP and my own role, and I think all the good power type actions are going to be available to all town players based on shrine visits so I am just one of many and eating the early NK will be fine.
I do have a pretty strong amount of experience with Elder Scrolls games, though I think Sloonei is writing a new story here and that knowledge is background at best. If anyone has questions I will try to help though. Ping me.
As a first cut, Azura is generally the most inclined to help mortals among the Daedra...and Mehrunes Dagon should really translate as "run the other way as fast as you can" so I am most likely not visiting that shrine ever.
first
what have we done to deserve a wild scotty and a wild quin in the same game?

You separated your glass from your plastics for the friendly recycling man earlier this year and the grateful recycling fairy came down from trash mountain and released her magic on the world
(Also sea turtles are still dying from plastic 6pack holders but we can ignore that)

I must’ve missed it, but thanks for answering for Alison.
I can see that some people have more info on shrines, but what I fail to see is anyone else affirming that they can see shrine capabilities. Seem to be holding it pretty close to their chest. Or else I’ve missed it.
I can see some yummy shrine descriptions. Anyone else?

I picked the name out of the list at random to see if you had a reason, and your response makes me wonder if you came up with the list with no real thought behind it.

I have a confirmable PR that is unambiguously town-sided.
This seems unlikely from Sloonei's opening material posts, but no one is likely to be in a hurry to kill you, so sure...demonstrate.
One of us is misunderstanding the setup I think.
My reading is that each character accesses different powers from different shrines. So as an example. Altmer Noble may be able to access shrines A, B, C, D and E. Argonian Mage may be able to access shrines C, D, E, F and G. Both can access shrine C but they get different powers from accessing shrine C based on the flavor of C as well as their own character's flavor.
One of the powers I can access from a shrine is confirmable and I think pretty pro-town.
Wow never mind, it was in the first page. Someone else can see stuff.
Ok then, carrying on with my business.
My question still remains if, say for example, the Nords are wont to not worshipping daedra while those cat things worship Rum Tug Tugger

Being uncomfortable with strong early reads is either scum nervous about how quick town are launching into solving or a site culture issue where they come from a community whose site meta is to dick around D1. However Scotty has experience with MacDougall and doesn't seem to be a first-time Syndicator so I am doubting the latter explanation.
The site is very different today from Scotty’s time. It’s also weird to me but I understand that’s just how the game has changed...
