Yep, same. All good either way. I think Quin has had his opportunity. No problem giving Kate a chance, at least within reason.

And in general how your read on Lime developed over the course of D1.
Twas to mess with you and the thread. There was no other reason.

Read developed? I don't think there was much development. Falcon said he was bad, I trusted Falcon. Thread tension continued to point in the direction that was LC was bad. Counter arguments to LC being bad were strictly in the existence of a W!you and/or W!Roxy. I wasn't going to explore a W!you or W!Roxy so naturally it was between Kate and LC for me (with a minor on Quin. Kate wasn't a wagon, and LC was going over regardless of my tomfoolery (I would've moved if needed).
But in all seriousness, thanks for the response.

This makes things make a lot more sense now since I was still struggling to gauge how serious you were.
No problem!

(I just noticed that I didn't close the parenthesis around the statement regarding Quin being minor and now I'll be perpetually bothered. All my script sense is now telling that the entire universe shouldn't be working because of said open parenthesis

On the lime indeed
I couldn’t ping you with my question (i don't think I have the stars on phone) and I didn't notice your answer

Why do you town read me now?
I thought a lot about your pov over night and generally understand where you were coming from even if I don't agree with it I feel like it's just more likely to come from a towny frustrated by a push that makes no sense to them than a wolf.

I tried to like do JJJs exercise more in depth and tried to understand you better and it worked.
I wasn't frustrated by the push though. I don't get where this idea comes from.
Why you say your push didn't make sense to me? I explained my Pov more than once.
Your push if you are a wolf makes sense but when you noticed you can't in fact push me you made a step back and that also makes sense from a wolf.

If you are town the push is a wrong understanding of the concept of first wagon of 3 players contains a wolf, either the player voted or in the voters.

I think if Quin flips town you have high scum equity.

Yeah, you can see villagers give up sometimes but like

Wolves who know they have no hope of succeeding often just don't try because why bother to put effort into something that's fruitless?

Lime Coke had low WIM this game, wouldn't surprise me remotely if the other wolf did and the wolves just didn't feel like they could win.

Depends upon how brave you are about Kate's last post of Day 1. That might be one of those "oh, well she's town, nevermind" moments. I understand if that makes anyone uneasy.

The full POE pool can go four deep, so those three plus Abigail would be the most generic case.

All the bugs spent their day preparing a Quin-sized shoe. It was a foregone conclusion. What other bug could be squashed if not Quin?

After all the guts have been wiped off from the sole of the shoe, what is left to do?

With Quin's flip, the game is...

You are the termite queen. I’m not wasting your time with a particular species here, and will instead regale you with some fun facts: Termite queens can grow up to six inches long, becoming so large they can never move again. They can live up to fifty years if suitably protected. They are likely to produce over nine million eggs in their lifespan. They control the entire termite colony through pheromone excretion, determining things like secondary queen development, caste system enforcement, and even things like colony expansion and warfare. Wild creatures.

JaggedJimmyJay was a villager.

Day 3 begins. You have 48 hours to squash your next bug. How exciting! Poll and thread close on Monday, August 7 at 2:00 PM PST / 11:00 PM CET.

And why would he give up as mafia?
The Syndicate has a history of not caring villagers I witnesed in past games and Quin is one of the veteran Syndicalists.
well you are wrong about the history. IMO. Most players I have played over a decade with on this site and others that are now defunct. Quinn is not one of them. But they have been awhile that is for sure.

The older players will fight for their lives as a towny. It is bc original site rules were you had to be alive at the end to win. Not the everyone gets a trophy phase we do today.

So him not fighting *if* they are town is not surprising at all. And sad at the same time bc town could lose just bc he would not fight. Now I am fence riding this elim even tho the case seems solid and several have the same thoughts including me.

ffs some days playing this game is too hard.

On a personal level: I was too busy to do much more in depth solving + had low WIM due to threadstate (top scumread inactive is bleh) + thought the game was reasonably likely to end with Quin.

On a group level: basically everyone had supported the hammer and in stagnant situations like this not hammering often has a long term impact on thread WIM. (Technically you can argue that hammering early deprives solving time and is bad but in practice people lose energy and often don't regain that energy at critical moments later so better to trim time that isn't being used and us just draining morale).

I was also an advocate of not hammering for as long as I felt that people were going to use the time effectively but since people didn't seem to be needing that time I considered ~24 hours to be long enough and stated that I was happy to hammer if others were.
