Chaindeath wishes to state something, he doesn't know if it is of any precedence, but vloddamick is his "Brother".

DH & Aces are brothers as well~ thanks for letting us know :), it is good to know that stuff so people don't take RL knowledge of each other as game knowledge :)

So please post your preference bolded in the thread for me. 1 PM or 11 PM?

Also, please don't make me wake up tomorrow to a tied poll... It might make me cranky.

Octopus's Garden

The crowd milled about uncomfortably, no one caring to admit they made a massive mistake with the whole Flyin' High incident. Her body had been removed and no one was sure what to do at the moment. One of the Teachers was feeling the pressure too. This was not going according to plan at all. By now the thing should be done and they should all be out of here, with no one the wiser. The Teacher leans against a wall, observing the other audience members. His eyes come to rest on Devin the Omniscient. They narrow a bit and he walks over to chat with him.

"What is up with the shirt Dovin?" the Teacher asks.

Devin looks confused for a moment and glances down at his shirt which has a picture of a dolphin wearing a monocle and mustache, "Oh! It's just an inside joke from some friends. My name is DEVIN, by the way."

"Yeah, whatever Dovin, it's a really lame shirt. Why would you wear that to a concert?"

Devin looks surprised, "It's DEVIN, and what I wear to the concert is my business, what is your problem man?"

"Dolphins are lame and girly. You should know that Dovin. You could at least wear a shirt with an octopus on it or something. Did you know that an octopus will make a garden out of stones and shiny objects? Way cooler."

"Alright, whatever man, I'm done With this conversation. You're a real weirdo, you know that?" as he turns to leave he is confronted by the second teacher, wielding a massive marine biology book which he slams into Devin's face, breaking his nose and lodging the shards in his brain. No one else in the club noticed because they are too self involved to be paying attention. Poor Dovin, I mean, Devin.

--------------------------------------

Rita stood with her clipboard, watching Kate's parking meter. It was a minute to go before her time expired, but suddenly Rita could not find her parking ticket book. She thought she had it... She hurried back to her vehicle to retrieve it, but once she returned she found someone had put another coin in. Looks like this car is not getting impounded.

--------------------------------------

Devin the Omniscient was killed by the Teachers.

PMs will be going out momentarily to those whose roles receive them.

It is now Day 2! You have 24 hours to lynch someone!

RIPIYWG Devin. :( It was too early for me to tell one way or another.

Also, it looks like Rita attempted to take Kate out of the game but appeared unsuccessful. So either Kate has some kind of protection or someone was willing to protect her. And right now it feels like civvie Kate to me so I would say that's a good thing.

Also, I'd prefer 1 PM as well.

RIP Devin, sucks that you died early again :(

And Yay Kate for not being impounded~ interesting that the SK tried to shut her down her, not the teachers... we also have a target switcher, a civvie.

I want to reread Devin.

RIPiywg Devin!

Congrats on avoiding being captured, Kate!

So, I think Chaindeath needs to do some chatting. The last lynch was switched and it could only have been him that did it. Chaindeath needs to convince us he is not a Teacher. (We need the nod smilies!)

Becasue the main reason chaindeath took votes in the first place was the fact that he showed up to vote in the poll after saying he would not be back. While led me to think that someone told him to come back. The Horse does not have BTSC.

Yeah, I want to hear from him as well, and if chaindeath is not the Horse, I think he would be a good choice for the next lynch. But going for him first would be putting the cart before the horse (lulz) especially if chaindeath IS the Horse.

I doubt he is, though.

So based on that I am forced to consider that you wanted an easy Day 1 pick and picked chaindeath without considering the specifics of "can't" vs "won't".

Again, minor ping.
This^

It feels like a defense of chaindeath  plus the vote chaindeath said he was making but did not make until it was pointed out was for DH. Odd coincidence, potential distancing.

This post is actually why

I was exploring another option, not really defending Chaindeath. If I had accepted chaindeath's guilt as fact instead of questioning and picking a different option would you feel better about me?

Distancing and defending between teammates is something I literally never do and would NEVER allow a teammate to do.

I know it could be interpreted either way. Which is why I reserve judgment until we see how this lynch goes. I know you generally don't do tricks, but sometimes teammates (especially new players~ ) can be unpredictable. I was also a but curious about BWT, last voter for chaindeath. His posts sounded kinda parroty to me, and he did vote when chaindeath was pretty much lynched. Having a switch is great, but you don't want to use it if you don;t have to.

But again, this is all cart before the horse. I am not as concerned with discovering chaindeaths teammates before I even find out if he has them.

Okay, chaindeath will start speaking as per request, "...he will be going to sleep and will not check this until tomorrow after the poll has ended." At this point he had thought that he had put his vote in and he was happy to wait until the poll was over, what with school and all. However, his brother Vlaminck (who works second shift) said to him in passing that his vote didn't go through, about how chaindeath posted what his vote would be but didn't put it in. He was even almost late for class because he had to start his computer to be able to put in his vote. Does this clear up all the not voting/coming back in after he said he wouldn't/bologna that almost got him lynched and saved only by the grace held within his feet? Please tell him so he knows when to stop, haha, beating himself. :dead horse: (almost)

If he confirms it, that would be OK. And it explains why you posted what you did earlier, doh, I should have caught on to that. And, tbh, knowing they both are new players, i doubt Daisy, whom I believe knows them, would put them in BTS together on a two man baddie team.

I often post that I may not make it back in time for a vote, etc., but sometimes things change and I do find time to check in. I don't find Chaindeath's story implausible, but like others have said, if his brother confirmed it that would make things more comfortable.

Also I don't see the suspicion of DH. He was simply suggesting an explanation which seemed reasonable enough.

If his brother confirms it, I will be at peace about that. Like i said, I doubt Daisy would put 2 new players in BTS together. It would still be possible that he is bad, but the main reason I thought so would be gone.

Like everyone else, I'm looking to see if Chaindeath can back up his story. Can we get a witness up in here? But we have to start thinking about other possibilities. If we don't want to look at chaindeath, who do we look at? DH still gives me bad vibes right now. We only have a day to make up our minds, so we have to think quick.

Does anyone have any other suspicions?

This. If we "excuse" chaindeath, it seems no one else has been heavily mentioned, that leaves us in a bad spot for the lynch. Btw did anyone take a screenshot of the second band song poll

Not sure why you would look at DH? He hasn't done anything suspect.... I thought people wanted to look at him depending on if Chaindeath is lynched and whatever the results of that are/would be... So, that makes me wonder why you would like to push for DH now :ponder:

Did we get a copy of the poll for Day 0 and N1? Perhaps the way people voted might give us an idea of who might be on a baddie team...

I was also thinking dh because he voted fh who got the lynch switched to her, but it seems it may be moot now.

He has done something suspect, he defended chaindeath in an incredibly shady manner. I've already explained how I saw that. As far as I can tell, chaindeath hasn't been completely cleared yet, so why would I drop my suspicion of DH? I'm not really pushing for him so much as expressing my personal unease about how he handled the chaindeath thing. If chaindeath's brother can confirm that this has all been a misunderstanding, than I will rethink DH. Until then, they are both under my spyglass. Also, it isn't like I am pushing full throttle for DH to be lynched, I just said he gave me some bad vibes. He isn't the only one I am looking at. If you look up a couple of post, you can see I am trying to figure out why Vomp would vote for Conner.

The problem is, all we have to go on is the chaindeath/ DH stuff. No one else is talking. I'd like to hear from some of those quiet players. I'm a little worried so of them are hoping to stay unnoticed while we go down this way.

DharmaHelper wrote:Chaindeath said he wouldn't check back in, not that he couldn't. The general feel I got from your and SVS's posts were that you were under the impression that he couldn't check back and when he did it was odd.

So based on that I am forced to consider that you wanted an easy Day 1 pick and picked chaindeath without considering the specifics of "can't" vs "won't".

Again, minor ping.
Reads like a defense to me.
