RIP Llama - that sucks. :(

So.....who we looking at today? I've got nothing but my slight ping on matty. If I can't find anything else, it'll be where my vote ends up going...

So - I reread the thread. (I know - it took foreeeeever. :srsnod: ) And in this kinda bothers me.

Metalmarsh was waaaay more vocal on the last page than I was. How is that suspiciously quiet?
I'd say you're both correct about Day 1. I was active, but I hadn't really offered anything productive.

since you have time - would you care to elaborate on his reasoning? Or is it still something that can't be talked about?

I have issues with the tie lynch and the fact that MR died anyway. I think I understand *why* MR died, I just need bit of help connecting the dots.

Also - what do you think of APerson? or Vompibat? Or Me?

awe - MM - that's what I'm calling you - is that ok? or do you have a preference for something else?

you re-read the REAAAAAAAAALLLLLY hard to re-read thread too. :) YAY YOU!

MM works, or Marsh, I'll notice those easiest :)

There's only one way MR could have died, and that's because of Lars Nykvist's role of getting the possibility of a double vote. So that means Wombat or llama had that role, and based on llama's statement about switching, I believe it was him. Yes Llama originally suggested a no lynch, but he also apologized to MR after he voted, possibly insinuating MR was going to die. Llama also clarified that a tie would result in a no lynch, so there's more info to back that theory up.
thellama73 wrote:Changing my vote for reasons which are my own.

Sorry, MR.

There's the other possibility that Wombat has the aforementioned role, but I don't believe that is the case based on the above information.

Marsh it is! I'm going with the one you suggested. I was Beatrice828 on sites for like ever - it was always naturally shortened to bea. If somehow somewhere someone just decided they would refer to me as 828 - even though it's my birthday - I would still be - "just call me bea. I'll recognize that." - Sorta like A person and "matty" At some point, He'll just be Matty. See what PA's habit of using real names gets you Matty? :p :D

And - your thinking is exactly what my thinking was. Before the night - I was convinced that either Lama or Vompibat was Lars, just wasn't sure which one. After the NK - I think you are right as well.

So - who do you think? vomibat or A Matty?

I know I'm a civ - so I've obviously taken myself out of that equation.

I'd also like to hear from both of them before I vote, because - hellz bells Marsh - you could have killed llama. Don't think I'm not also thinking that as well.

bea wrote:I'd also like to hear from both of them before I vote, because - hellz bells Marsh - you could have killed llama. Don't think I'm not also thinking that as well.
Likewise on the others. Naturally, we need everyone's input.

I'm still crunching possibilities in my head, which I'll probably end up sleeping on. I'm possibly thinking Wombat, but that's not a very strong FOS. I think it was more circumstantial than anything else that he had voted MR on that lynch. But Llama had voted him before he switched to MR for the lynch.

As for Matty, I don't get the whole thing about me being quiet, as if I was the only one. He hasn't said much yesterday or today for that matter. Quite the behavior for someone who's expecting more from me. :ponder:

And of course I haven't ruled you out bea, but I'm getting the strongest town vibes from you. But that very well could just be your playing style. If you try a random vote again today, I'm voting you without question.

nope - no random at all ever again. I just needed to get my feel for the micro aspect of the game. I used to be a pretty decent speed player - but I've not played *quick* games in AGES - so I kept thinking day 1 I had more time- and I really -when I re-read - and saw how vocal you were on d1 - made me be all "FUCK!!! FUCK!!! I FUCKED UP HERE!!" and while I was trying to show why I was changing my vote (re matty's weird reasoning - ) the fucking vote ended.

honestly - at this point - matty has to make a really great case as to why I SHOULDN'T vote him.

Because it's where my natural insticts are telling me.

Matteo, Lars, and Ed rushed to Lorraine's side. He and Matteo hauled her up and toted her into their bedroom, where she could rest. Matteo kneeled by her bedside while Lars rushed to make her some coffee. Ed sat next to her, fingering his rosary.

Suddenly, Aria ran into the room, hair askew, and her eyes solid white. She put her hands around Matteo neck and snapped it with a loud thwack.

A Person has been lynched.

He was Matteo Primero.

Another Night, Another Dream, But Always You.

Everyone screamed as Matteo's body slunk to the ground. Lars thundered up the stairs to his room and fell to his knees.

Aria's body began to shake. Framed photos began falling off the walls, and cracks ran down the sheetrock.

A wailing moan extended from Lorraine's hyperextended jaw. Her eyes rolled back in her head and she fainted.

"Not Aria!" Lars shouted. "You already took Matteo from me, don't take Aria! Take me instead!"

An unseen forced jumped out of Aria and her body went slack. Lars began to shake, his body going rigid.

I want to thank everyone for playing The Syndicate's first Micro-mafia game, as well as my first hosted game! There were some minor bumps along the way, but it was mostly a smooth flight. Don't forget to your flight attendant on the way out.

Feedback is golden. Dom is the assigned mod to the Micro-Mafia sub-forum, so let him know what you think. I really appreciate him taking on modding duties in this capacity (as well as the other mods and admins for having faith in me to make this happen in the first place). Submit your prospective micro-mafia games in The Drawing Board and then PM Dom the link.

See you around the site, and don't get possessed.

1. Lorraine Warren - Mister Rearranger.
2. Ed Warren - Vompatti
3. Lars - Logan the Llama
4. Matteo - Matt/Ape R. Son
5. Aria - Bea
6. The Demon - Metalmarsh89

Good game everyone. I did get a lucky break at the beginning, but I didn't have time to hop on, so it wasn't just an act of ignorance. Sorry bea, it seems you died twice in this game. :consoling: I also felt there were various ways I could have gone about the night phase, but since everyone was silent, I'd call too much attention on myself if I talked too much. But I think I was able to leave the slight impression that I was pro-town. Dunno how well it worked.

In hindsight, it would have done wonders I think. I went with llama because it seemed clear to me that he was Lars and could double-vote. I really couldn't have gotten any luckier with the players lynched though. I won based on circumstance more than anything.
