I don't understand what you are contending here. That me choosing vanilla townie because I was at work when the game was supposed to start makes me look worse? How? I passed on a mafia role because I didn't know if I would even be able to be active for the first 1-2 cycles. That would be shitty of me to pick a mafia role and then just not be here when a baddie team needed me. At least if I got lynched as a civ, I would only be costing the civs a vanilla role.
