It will be perfect because no one will believe she will actually give me that role, because it would be too obvious, making it not obvious at all.

LOL - when trying to decide if we really wanted to do it or not, I said it would be VERY hard for me to not give Ron to llama and Leslie to Goosey. BDH's response was "OK, so I'm in charge of role assignments then."

Might I recommend not watching any of the six episodes in Season 1.
I watched the first episode of Season 1 a while back and it didn't really grab me. Just seemed like an Office knock-off show that wasn't very funny. But I have just incredibly recently given it another chance and it appears to ascend SO much more at the beginning of S2. I can't confirm this since I'm still a huge newbie myself, but based on what I talked to others about and from what I've watched, this seems to be the case. So that's my recommendation.
And yes - it took them a while to find their feet on parks and rec. I don't mind the first season but back when I was first watching, it was tough to get into that one. It's real strength is all the characters - great ensemble cast. Just trying to flesh things out and we could easily have like a 40 player game or some crazy crap like that if we wanted to. It's hard to decide already who to cut.

It really hits its stride starting in Season 2, Episode 1. I've laughed til I cried. Plus, that's when the characters really develop more nuanced personas, and you will be able to see the Alison & Logan in Leslie & Ron.

Just got to Season 2 yesterday, I usually watch while I'm eating or it gets late and I can't homework anymore.
Seriously, really good stuff. Totally worth slugging through Season 1 too, which wasn't bad but got better as it went along.
And OMG it's even funnier because the Alison & Logan in Leslie & Ron is SO TRUE. It's actually kind of scary.

I must compliment your awesome and relevant avatar.
And it helps that Ben is the character most like me in the show, inevitably.
I sure hope there is a "Cones of Dunshire" event!

I promise that if I can ever spend more than 3 hours a day with the hubby we will try to work on it. Free time is such an insanely valuable commodity for me these days.
