Considering you can submit a factional action and a non-factional one, it would make sense that they can just claim their own personal and let factional action advance their wincon.

I believe that in the first world town is actually the uninformed majority and are told as such. mafia is the informed minority and are also told this

however, in the second world / core roles, whatever you want to call it, mafia is the uninformed majority and town is the informed minority

this is why no one has claimed mafia as their first alignment, and also why no one has claimed town as their core role

to build on that, I think town token might be uniformed maj

I guess similarly, it is why mafia's factional kill did nothing as mafia faction can dominate the game, by having the non-core mafia murder everyone and outnumber everyone else with core mafia faction.

First world mafia was us and zone, we were essentially survivors. We submitted night kills that afaik had zero effect, and our wincon was a survivor/possibly town wincon. I do not remember what NKs were submitted, just that they didn't die iirc.

it is literally anti town to want to flip a neutral in this sort of game because theres always a chance of us being mafia instead of town

like look at it this way

a slot claimed neutral (and its not like we are acting otherwise) and has literally expressed the fact they would suck if they were forced to flip and become their core role (we have a neighborhood with osie and we asked how many layers we had and we were told 2 btw)

and to let you know, there is a small correlation with being in ???cord/a hood with osie and playing good somewhat good game (based on another question I asked)..so afaik we are playing to our wincon which is not desiring death just to get another role since we can very easily win this game by waiting it out while everyone passes the basket. We can win without stripping a layer- so if I can stay this entire game without having to be forced to change my wincon mid game that in itself is +EV to town, considering the fact we won't be forced to possibly play with a different alignment which is ANTITOWN if we outright become informed minority, and still antitown if we gain the town alignment due to the fact it is super unrealistic to have a player play the game as a nb and change them to town and force them to change their entire demeanor towards the game mid game. theres always the risks of survivors siding with evil but ive said several times I have no problem townsiding- but im not forcing myself to put the effort into the game like I usually do as town

My go to way is to find town and then poe out scum when I am lost like in this game. I usually look at small things tbh

I think Millium is townie due to how they are openly processing the game, but especially for this post:

I think you are town due to our conversation yesterday. You immediately tried to reverse my question to get a read on my emotional level (you asking me why your vote "bothered" me).

The problem is that I usually read mech talk as scum oriented, since it is a huge time sink and usually does not lead to any reads. So wolves can look busy without really saying anything with real impact. This game is kinda... necessary to have those conversations though.

i think it's acceptable to have some caution around the based slot since foolsgold who were also claiming 3p flipped as one of the listed antagonistic factions, but i don't think killing them is warranted atm
