don't be obtuse. the only way in which they have to decide whether or not to lover-activate is if there's the possibility of a nightkill. if there is no mafia left alive it is always correct to lover-activate because they don't get lover-hit by poison.

actually though idk. I think slooneis points about Mac not having been solving well today are kinda bad and exist as a cause of the focus on Mac. For example Alisons answer to your question of who is mafia if not Mac was just really flat and in general I haven't seen her do anything this day phase. She still can be mafia imo though I'm not sure who of her/Mac are more likely but yeah

I think this day phase I haven't seen a lot I've liked from mac (the stuff about not town reading who ever for asking to be shot seems kinda facetious at best and mostly like he's pushing it to try and get a town read rather then believing it) but I'm not like sold on him

and while Alison has done... nothing? I cared about since subbing in considering such I just feel like voting her right now

I actually called him out for not talking about people outside those two soon before Alison somehow said he's expanding the PoE

I think Macs response to both my and Allison's comments here was good. He said "maybe I am expanding the PoE but I don't care" -- I'd expect Mac here to get more combative with Alison but it kinda felt to me like he recognized what I was saying about having a closed focus and looked outside those two and thusly accepted Allison's criticism/his place in the PoE

I mean gnome lived after being poisoned but nobody can explain why so yeah there needs to be an explanation for that.

Nobody coming forward looks bad for gnome and I feel that's probably the point so the question becomes why and the answer to that would be because just killing isn't gonna work they need to start getting creative because PoE is closing in on them and they need to deflect heat and making gnome look shady does that.

Well this is an explanation for it I don't know if it is the explanation or that it points to anybody in particular other than meaning it's likely not gnome. However this also means it's not TSP which means idfk what their doing regarding their role.

these are basically after a point in the day he was set for dying based on treatment of him. I don't see this as necessarily wolfy. I think that Mac opened the day completely not in this direction is a good look for him and that he started this once his death was expected so he wants to cover what he can before dying is unimportant/possibly towny

I seem to have Gnome much higher on the suspect list than you do, which is a large part of why I ask. At the least I would put her ahead of lost monkey and Martin right now, at least among mafia prospects.
