Perhaps one philosophical difference that creates this chasm in our viewpoints is that I don't think these kinds of late-phase speed wagons that appear from thin air tend to be save attempts. Few mafia have the courage to contribute to that, especially at that stage in the phase when it's improbable to work out.

I don't know if Sloonei is as high on hawk or LC as I am, so perhaps he can offer some solace. And to be clear: I don't think the cases against them are without merit. I see it. I just don't feel it much.
