I don't know what any Shrines do for anyone. Don't we have to visit them to find out? And should we share what they do publicly?
Yikes. Am I the only town that knows shit? Have I already revealed too much?
Or is Long Con bad with Tim?
This is a terrible theory and you should be ashamed.

Read page 1, highlighting some stuff. Will be back for pages 2 and 3 after dinner.

So every race has a pairing except for the Nords, which have a trio?
Don’t yet see the importance of knowing another player’s race, since alignments are randomized.
Someone more versed with skyrim might be able to draw conclusions of racial connections to daedra attunement? I haven’t found any as of yet.
But man...my character is butt ugly.
I can tell you that I probably pray to the ass-face god.
Don’t know if Tamriel race science is totally useless in this game, it most likely is, and here is Scotty starting a conversation that he knows won’t lead anywhere.

So, historically this is where I make the one word post; "first" and then dip for several hours. I have always found that amusing, since I am never actually first. However, I have been putting off a change in playstyle for several games due to an unfortunate series of rands and the opportunity has finally arrived. No one word humor driven first post. No threadsitting fluff posting. No obnoxiously refusing to give reads. I'm just here to town it up and if the wolves NK me for it that's fine.
I wanted to do this in GoC but that vig rand; I had to play it to stay alive. I have read through all the rules and such in the OP and my own role, and I think all the good power type actions are going to be available to all town players based on shrine visits so I am just one of many and eating the early NK will be fine.
I do have a pretty strong amount of experience with Elder Scrolls games, though I think Sloonei is writing a new story here and that knowledge is background at best. If anyone has questions I will try to help though. Ping me.
As a first cut, Azura is generally the most inclined to help mortals among the Daedra...and Mehrunes Dagon should really translate as "run the other way as fast as you can" so I am most likely not visiting that shrine ever.
Moving on from one word posts to using 500 words to say one word. No, just kidding, this is alright.
I disagree with Alison’s interpretation of the set-up (why make it the same shrine at all if they’re individually different to each of us?) but I could also read that more closely. I read the rules yesterday but I haven’t looked at the artifacts and all that shit yet.

I have a confirmable PR that is unambiguously town-sided.
This seems unlikely from Sloonei's opening material posts, but no one is likely to be in a hurry to kill you, so sure...demonstrate.
One of us is misunderstanding the setup I think.
My reading is that each character accesses different powers from different shrines. So as an example. Altmer Noble may be able to access shrines A, B, C, D and E. Argonian Mage may be able to access shrines C, D, E, F and G. Both can access shrine C but they get different powers from accessing shrine C based on the flavor of C as well as their own character's flavor.
One of the powers I can access from a shrine is confirmable and I think pretty pro-town.
If you have detailed info on what powers you get from various shrines you are way ahead of me, but I'm pretty deeply in the "yeah typical NPC type character" pool, so sure. Thanks for clarifying because I was mostly thinking this was your fairly typical early game claim and not really aligning well with the set-up, but it does make sense enough now.
Let me lead by example then: I’m going to scumread tim right now.
Maybe I am off base here, but I know exactly what the shrines I can access do, and I am town.
Could it be that some town roles don’t see that into? Maybe.
But I’m currently getting non commital vibes that don’t ring town in tim
I am just a humble merchant and don't know squat from what Daedric shrines do. If you seriously think "unaffiliated with Daedra" is gonna be a wolf tell in this setup, then...sure, go get it tiger. I think that's a really bad assumption.
Let's check the flip side...Alison says that like you she has info on what the shrines do for her...does that make her a lock town in your opinion?

side eye to anyone saying they don't know what a shrine does tbh
Also to anyone pushing me for committing to a bit wrt voting kyle
okay so idk if this means anything or not. but Alison and Nanook both flipped town and knew about their nite actions and shrines and such.
and everyone is talking about shrines and chaos and. I feel like this doesn't look good.
did KZA know? apparently gavial knows?
or is this NAI. I'm not trying to shade anyone or call anyone out. I just don't wanna waste my time and fall down a rabbit hole chasing something thst isn't there.
We all arrived at NAI, and at this point it is demonstrated NAI Daisy, because yeah Nanook and Alison had limited choices with what the shrines did, but Seanzie didn't have that and all three were town. My role is more like Seanzies, in that it relates more to who goes to the shrine than it relates to the shrine itself. I went to a shrine last night and I
still don't know what it does...I just know that exactly one other person went there. I assume I sold them a souvenir snow globe or something. For the money made I can buy...nothing. If I sell another snow globe tonight then tomorrow I will be able to buy...nothing much. I need to be getting two or three a night to get anything worthwhile by like day four.
That's part of why I can't accept this back to back watcher tracker thing. That is hugely powerful compared to any of the other roles so far. I mean, that seems very powerful compared to Seanzie and he had an artifact. How does Gavail draw that? Is he the only one with access to those shrines, because a flood of people that could just pick "oh I wanna be a watcher" basically breaks the game? So he almost has to be lying here, but if he is a wolf...why does he tell this whopper?
