Herm is a straight gut read, you can downgrade 'em to the ??? list if you want, I don't feel super strongly about that slot but I do think they are town because I liked their entrance energy. For nutella, it's mostly because I think scum has to make a play to undermine the towncore and nutella showed no interest in any of that and just went "yep, this is good" when she saw my reads. Yeah, sure, there's a chance I'm horribly wrong and there's deepwolves investing my towncore and nutella is their buddy egging me on into townreading them, but if I weigh the possibility of that vs the possibility nutella is just town and sharing my thoughts I'd say I townread nutella overall.

not to community bash but mafia scum was one of the more unenjoyable mafia communities ive been at. epic mafia still probably worse for me but i remember this one dude from ms who was playing with me in a newbie game (he was the experienced player) who told me im delusional cuz i made a readslist with everyone included on day 1. Yeah Hally my general point is that it's very easy to feel intimidated as wolf and just lowpost when you see town have this much energy and make reads at so rapid a pace. And it wouldn't even be wrong because one of the best strategies to combat a bunch of town finding each other early on is to just do nothing, let the game stagnate as they pick off the active posters in the POE first because of recency bias and then fall apart into squabbling because they start to suspect a deepwolf amongst themselves and nobody wants to be the one to say "okay, let's gun down the afks". That's one of the best ways to beat a pure towncore that finds itself very early, so I'm comfortable with saying "maybe the mafia are just all in the lurkers".

I have pretty strong opinions on all the communities I've played on and how they rank against each other but I always felt like it would be unecessarily divisive and antagonistic to publicize them. The only one I've publicized is that Epic Mafia is toxic because that place is seriously a cesspool and I know a trans person who was literally harassed out of there so

Like we've played with each other a few times, we know each other and if we townread each other really strongly there's a reason for that. But also do you genuinely believe that tutuu and Alison the wolves successfully worked together and pocket and deceive Mac and Hally over the possibility of them just being, y'know, right?

From where I'm at (page 8) tutuu's feels more content forcing than genuine generation that I saw in the last game. Mac doesn't have the same tang.

I really think the way sprityo attacked JPIC was super scummy and it's one of the major factors that would make JPIC trend up in my reads (I'm ambivalent about it atm because there are good reasons to scumread him too and he didn't really do anything when I tried to reach out to him and get him to show me his towniness).

It was like, sprityo gets pressured by Mac and questioned, and then he immediately redirects with "actually let's not talk about this, let's talk about your JPIC read, I thought that was interesting". And then when Mac challenges him to specify what he found interesting about the JPIC read, he flails for a bit and then lashes out at Mac ("everything you've said has been bollocks", "your case is only based on your own word" etc).

To me that reads as though sprityo is very uncomfortable with Mac's pressure and wants to divert attention to someone else he thinks Mac will scumread just as strongly, and perhaps even townread him for finding JPIC scummy. Could scum!sprityo bullshit some fake reason why the JPIC read was "interesting"? I don't know. But I do know that the two towny responses to pressure are either folding and just receding from the game (because you can't take it) or trying to argue/fight back and show why you're town/why the person pressuring you is misguided or scum. It isn't townie to just grab some random player that's widely scumread and try to use them as a human shield.
