Man I don't even know anymore. I still want to think town but maybe not.
Unless you're like the vigilante, does it even matter?

Upon further reflection of ISOs both of these wagons are shiiiiiiiiiiiny turds.

Nutella I can see why people suspect her. The interactions starting when Mac wagoned on look pretty bad. But lynching nutella D1 after she gets defensive over some tunneling is wonky.

I have no idea why anyone would vote Master Radishes.

I'm not buying anyone saying they don't understand why people are voting radishes. If you disagree with the reasons that's one thing, but the reasons have been pretty clearly put out there and you can't just pretend nobody has given reasons.

Ah, didn't see that post. I can see it.

I've also said the same thing myself several times as town [citation needed but I think I have]. I might could do it this game, but I wouldn't have time to follow up if someone DID tell me what to do!

Some part of me realizes that not much good comes from 'tell me what to do' though, so I do see it now.
Is that why everyone is voting there? For a point that was made only after everyone already voted there?

You his teammate? Lmao you know better than this.

I was just thinking you're probably bad anyway. Then this. C'mon man
You have literally been in scum teams with me where you have been immediately caught by Jack and lamented profoundly how well he reads you. So your defense here is hilariously bad.

tedxtr wrote: Wed Feb 26, 2020 2:03 pm Does nutella usually crumble to pressure like this as wolf? Anyone?

This is starting to get annoying real quick though, both Nanook and nutella coming out of left field is just pissing me because I can’t read AtE, and moreso this is just stupid AtE (no offence)

If we’re gonna lash out at every scum read on us we might as well not even play the game.

I might not understand what caused this reaction but I really can’t see why you’d be so pissed and it’s heavily affecting how I’m reading you and I hate AtE because of its impact on my accuracy

Fuck me idk i always wanna read AtE like this as town

[unvote] [/unvote]
AtE?

Like this

is not a defense.

If you're wolfing with Nutella and the last time you wolfed with Nutella, Jack had her dead to rights but couldn't hang her before getting shot, why would you bus? Especially if you've bothered to tell Jack you don't trust him.

Like, I can see Nutella and Dom being scum. I don't think they're scum together.

It’s one of the reasons my vote has been on him.

Another is that his reads have been weak and none of them are sticking anywhere. Caveat to that is that he doesn’t know any of us, but I feel like his efforts to develop reads (see above) have been flat too.

Master Radishes wrote: Wed Feb 26, 2020 5:06 pm Yeah, okay, I don't have the time or will to slog through the thread again. Just...give me someone(s) to ISO or summat.
The "tell me what to do" approach is something that I associate with bad guys more than good guys. It's deferential and passive, and is a way for a (scum) player to look like they're scum hunting without having to worry about their targets or intentions being misinterpreted: somebody else told them what to do and they simply obliged.

the isos that followed were uninspiring.
Agreed. The iso-quest is probably his worst look in terms of seeming forced. @juliets what do you think
Well, ugh. "Tell me what to do" is indeed not a post I would expect someone who has a reputation as a great mafia player would do (that is his reputation outside of here). I agree that it's deferential and passive and something that is more likely for scum to say and as you point out seems forced. I skipped right over it when I ISO'd him, it just didn't catch my eye but I can't disagree with this reasoning. I also on first read through didn't see anything objectionable about his ISO's so I'll take another look there.

I think I also need to go back and look at the case JJJ presented about him. I don't even remember it.

I'm going to do these things before I go back to Nanook.
JaggedJimmyJay wrote: Sat Aug 21, 2021 3:24 pm Always good to remember that there is no such thing as a Mafia circumstance that is worth real human emotion. Sometimes it will naturally come out, but it can be contained if we just remember that this is a game on a message board forum that 99.99% of the population of the Earth has never heard of before. Champions 2019 - Crisis on The Syndicate [Salvador!]

#1474

Post by Long Con »

"We are arriving," intoned the Monitor. "Harbinger awaits us in this universe."

He stepped through the portal, beside the one he had chosen to be Harbinger, the Monitor's most powerful acolyte. His brow furrowed as he saw another figure coming close, out of breath. "Pariah!" he said, his voice grim. "Your presence can mean only one thing!"

"Yes!" said Pariah bleakly. "You must flee! There's no time!" Pariah looked around, panicked, as the Anti-Monitor's shadow demons began to stream out from every dark place, attacking the Monitor's group.

"Fall back through the portal!! Quickly!" The team managed to keep their wits, and their newfound powers, about them. They were able to keep the demons at bay and step back through the portal, with Harbinger and Pariah.

Harbinger raced to the portal controls. "It's no use! The portal won't close!"

"I can override it, I just need three minutes!" The Monitor stepped to the glowing interface.

"We can't hold them back that long!" shouted Pariah, firing a blaster cannon directly into a group of shadow demons who were scrambling to get at the portal from the other side. "They're - they're gonna get through!!"

"Nah, brother," said Salvadore, his deep bassy voice grim with resolve as he strapped a few extra grenades on. "I'll give you the time you need."

Seamus' eyes glistened. "Me friend... I've not the words. Anything I can do for ye?"

"Actually, I need someone to come through with me. I can't do it alone." Salvadore looked to Seamus and held out his hand.

"Er, well then good luck with that and all..." mumbled Seamus as he put his head down and quickly shuffled away.

Salvadore smirked. "No problem. No volunteers? Well, this just turned into a conscription!" He grabbed nutella by the collar and slammed a pulse rifle into her chest. Her eyes widened in shock.

"After you!" Salvadore laughed and tossed her through before she could react. He stood for a second and watched her frantically blowing away shadow demons in every direction, then chuckled and turned back with a final salute.

"I am very good at killing!" he cried, as he jumped through the portal and went back-to-back with a screaming nutella, firing rifles with both hands.

The view through the portal was nothing but fire and blood until the Monitor finally got it closed. Not a single demon got through.

NANOOKTHEGREATANDFEARSOME was Salvadore (civilian), from Vault Hunt Mafia, hosted by speedchuck. Nanook has chosen to activate Salvadore's ability, killing himself and determining the Lynch target.

nutella has been lynched! She was Prometheus, an Independent role, from Arrowverse Mafia, hosted by DFaraday.

Nanook and nutella remain as Ghosts for the next three phases, and they may post as outlined in the Original Post.

Gossip Girl is a show about pretending a main character didn't try to rape someone in the pilot.

lol whatever man. I like to think I basically play like town when indie but ok

Anyway it's basically a rule of thumb now that whenever I get a really cool indie role that seems like it'll be a lot of fun, i die early and never get to use it. :sigh:

Like I said I was playing from a similar mindset as town since I'm by myself, so my reads have all been legit. My suspects are mac, speed, gman, radishes, maybe dom. My strongest town reads are michelle, dizzy, svs, ted, maybe sig, lighter on jay, juliets. Lots of waffles/neutrals still.

I can post twice more through d2 :keys:

And I obviously abandoned my ISO on Nanook. I'm stunned that you're gone NANOOKTHEGREATANDFEARSOME , not that I question your decision but I'm sorry you're not playing anymore (except for the ghost posts which will be cool). The one downside to leeroy is that it lessens the use of vote analysis but nevertheless we had the pre leeroy votes saved right?

Sould reading in page 1Tedex villager. Liked Nut - not a surprise ^^
Still reading to catch up. Work may stop this process :p
I'm glad you're town, Michelle.
Is this legit?
It's correct. Source: am better at reading Michelle than jack is at reading me.
Is posting excerpts from the Aussie game scum chat bad faith here? Because you are absolutely lying and I am nearing 100% confirmation you are wolf because of it.
This is begging the question.

If Nutella is not a wolf, she thinks I'm not as good at reading her and is therefore not lying and therefore not a wolf.

If you say Nutella knows how good I am at reading her (because she's a wolf), then she must be lying, thus she must be a wolf.

You're starting with the assumption that Nutella is a wolf and using that as evidence she's a wolf.

Bad hunting. Possible scum.

I feel like I'm stumbling, trying to get back on my feet. Let's start with this: Master Radishes check out the post of Sloonei's where he says your "gimme someone to ISO" is scum behavior. (If you can't find it let me know and I'll post it, its very recent though right before the boom.) Can you speak to your thinking when you said that? It does not seem like something a good Radish would say.

Also to everyone, I'm sorry my post posted after LC said no more posts. I didn't see the boom and it didn't come up in linki like posts usually do when I posted. So, my apologies.

Long Con wrote: Thu Feb 27, 2020 3:32 pm "We are arriving," intoned the Monitor.

I'd say the nutella voters are overall a wash/NAI.

There were probably at least 2 mafia members there and some on radish, but with her flipping indy I don't think we can gauge to much.

The person who looks the most meh from nutella is jack in my opinion but I do want to see nutella's thoughts here before I comment more on it.
