Yes, I am aware of that Kyle. I’m just too lazy to do anything about it and suspect I won’t be in this game long enough to make doing so worthwhile. From my recollection (it’s been a while) Owner is very experienced and very good. She seems a little unwilling to engage though and that concerns me a little.

I accept that as a reasonable analogy my friend and truth be told, probably not entirely innacurate.

It says this:

Night Phases:
Mafia make a team NK
Crew limited to their own ship

It's not abundantly clear so I could be making a false assumption.

I agree - Novaseilnever didn’t give me a good vibe either but I have some difficulty seeing someone behaving like that so openly Wolfy. Also highly suspicious of Sig - I’ve been wrong about him before and I may be again.

Also, damn disappointed that Lapluie never turned up :(

She's on a new site with 90% new people. It's more difficult, and makes players more hesitant.
Like the Negan thing. She made that case, and it was a nothingburger because DH is who he is.

There was some confusion for me with the time zones. Night 1 will end at 9 pm EDT, not 8 pm.

Also, if anyone got a screenshot or copied the poll before I stupidly deleted it, let me know. Hosting while driving cross country is not advisable and I was trying to avoid it, but things never seem to go as planned. I am very sorry guys.

The missions didn’t tell me what type of stat I’d need. Maybe I should research the board game.

I hope speed, glorf or marmot has some attack skill. The space bazaar sounded like a good place for diplomacy.
To fit my own style, my stat is dependent on a dice roll.

I'll contribute, though I have a 33% chance of actually helping.

I just glanced over his ISO, and I still have a bad vibe about him. His contributive posts have been so far riddled with some good old fence-sitting. He went on about not liking the talks about Glorf, but ended up saying that he's someone we should look after.
Same thing about the Golden/I thing. Liking both posts, and feigning interest with a generic response to what could have been my motivation to not break the tie between Glorf/Golden.
...
Are you down for a CFD on Luna or not?
....
I'm already there. This was an alternative because so far only 3 of us are down for Luna but we need 6 to offset the lynch. (maybe 5 if a voter switch).
Just a note as to where we are with these quotes. The Luna lynch is near impossible at this point in thread.

My dudes, DDL is a bad.
Well, if nothing else, I now have three major suspects: DDL, Luna, and Nova.
Setting up everything for tomorrow so that he can jump back in and pursue. Also why was he trying to use two of his scumspects to lynch another? You'd think he wouldn't join Nova's wagon if suspicious of him.

Nope, not buying this at all.

I guess I'll do what Golden did and tell you why each might be mafia because I can't really honestly pinpoint one as being mafia over any of the rest.

Enri - Hedging his bets when he weighs in on discussions in the thread
Mac - Has been present but hasn't contributed much if anything to the actual hunting of mafia.
Owner - A lot of her suspicions a few pages back were basically defensive responses on behalf of other players, which I found odd.
INH - Haven't seen him much in-thread. Low profile shit.
Soq -Buddy Buddy for the Yucks
If anyone on DH's crew feels personally victimized, you are welcome to jump ship and come join the Bonanza. We get along. At least until our mission is done.
What are your responses to Epi's question, Luna? You cast shade against DH for his honesty, while you've been apprehensive to discuss any of your crewmates.

Perusing your ISO, you have some weird shit in there.
Lunalee wrote: Thu Aug 09, 2018 1:59 pm I see no way that Golden isn't town in this game. So why is MacDougall and DrWilgy voting to lynch him? Not a good look for either of them.
This was followed by a vote against Mac that jump-started his wagon, but seems utterly asinine. Just, Golden = definitely town, and therefore Mac must be lynched. Dumb. Yes, I agree that Golden reads civ, but, as I said, I think that due to his strong responses to Nova. From the following post, I assume Luna read maybe five words of that conversation.
Lunalee wrote: Thu Aug 09, 2018 5:56 pm
speedchuck wrote: Thu Aug 09, 2018 5:54 pm Would Golden and Nova state the case against each other in like, ten words or less? I drown when I look at that argument chain.

My current take:
Golden - "Nova's captain votes are weird and probably bad"
Nova - "Nu uh they normal and you are bad for your fake accusation"
Golden - "Man, what an overreaction. Calling it scum"
Nova - "Town Golden wouldn't have a case this bad"

Is that anywhere close?
Thank you for that summary. I don't like reading novels in mafia threads.
So yeah, that's Luna so far. Empty buddying propping up easy lynch-wagons. I voted for Luna to be a captain, because I thought I'd be able to read her pretty well, and that her reactions would be especially revealing. Nearing the end of Day 1, I'm leaning towards her being scum.

The list of people I'd be happy voting for today now consists of Nova and Luna.
Dunno what his opinion on Nova is, other than that it is consistent.

Is INH being real here, or is this him trying to look like he hates the Macdougall lynch? Because IMO Luna is playing to her usual meta, and INH is all like "WHAT IS THIS?" after having voted her as captain because she's "easy to read."
And then the nova vote keeps hanging around as a side option. Distancing?

I'm not adding much to this. What do you guys think of INH, and specifically his last minute push (which contains 50% of his posts)?

So including me, we have a 1/3 chance of 2/3, and a 2/3 chance of 1/3. :nicenod:

I feel like that probability works out to be 1/2.

Daisy, will we find out the result of marmots dice role?

Here’s my plan. If we succeed, every crew member gets a share of $200. Of the remaining $200, speed will get $150 for definitelyncontributing and marmot will get $50 for possibly contributing.

Frustrating that killing can happen across ships. I thought this would be a way to keep myself safe.

Regarding inh, I thought the case on Luna was bunk but I can’t read inh to know whether he’s sincere. He never thinks something I understand. One thing I do wonder about is whether his town read of me is a way of not putting me offside, because it’s very unusual, maybe even the first time ever.

What is the purpose of this money again? I’m happy for whatever share you’d nominated for me (we have to win it first...) to go to the one of us least likely to be lynched or NKd. To be honest, I think I’m a prime target for a NK as EPI pointed out and the money might as well go to someone that will more likely be able to use it.

I’d also respectfully suggest Cap, that perhaps it might be a good idea to gaine some consensus amongst the crew as to our next stop on this trip? I’ll confess, I wouldn’t have chosen Space Bazaar as our first stop.

Consensus is a good thing. I wasn’t sure if we could discuss our stats before or even who would join, but I assumed the bazaar would use diplomacy which I had, so it was the right call before I had a certain crew I think. Our skills are quite varied so it might not make much odds, but I’m happy for a vote on it. Look at the locations and vote now if you like.

As for money - I’m not going to split based on the possibility of your death, glorf. We can buy items - for all we know, you might buy one that keeps you safe from a nk or something. You get your fair share, and I won’t hear a protest in that or it’ll be the brig :p

OK, well I hope that all of you have agreed to help out!

Since we'll know if Marmots role helped, the last 200 will be split evenly between him and speedchuck if he does, and will be given to speed if he doesn't. This is a meritocracy!

To clarify, I wasn’t referring to the logic you applied to selecting our first visit - which I think is entirely logical

I mean, it could just as easily be me who dies. What's say I took your share for myself because I was afraid of you dying then I died? It's sharing the risk out a bit... they can't kill us all in one go.

Yes.
Actually, I will tell Marmot what he rolled and it’s up to him if he shares it. I didn’t think my first answer through.

Well in that case the split is 150/50 :p

That's not all so bad, though, marmot... I'll keep giving you money each time you might have contributed if we win, so it should even out.

You will all be included on the lynch poll.
