I read all four of your voters as town to varying degrees. I understand the criticism and think that it's at least technically valid even if it doesn't sell me -- you'd be in what is presently a vast POE pool and on the short list of votes I'd consider. Not the way in which Dana is with their posts this game. Starting from Dana’s first post through most subsequent posts, Dana is equivocating. At some point, I think it’s safe to say there is some level of back and forth from players. It isn’t about a single post. Dana started off right away careful about appearing a certain way. Dana cared more about appearances and had a focus on how they came across to others.

I’m very firm when I say I can’t read Gnome. I am not offering a read on gnome so much as explaining to you why I will likely refrain from reading her. I don’t see it the same way.

There've just been some isolated incidents of overzealous claiming for which my memory is vague in recent games like Fallout 2 and Modern Family. Generally I just want folks to use their heads before blurting things that needn't be blurted.

Some part of me appreciates this pointed effort from Garden Gnome to reach across the site aisle to offer Dana encouragement, and the enthusiasm is nice. The language bears that sort of surface appearance that often gets people into trouble (e.g. scummy scum scum), sometimes rightly and often not.

I hope we can avoid our inner instincts toward claim spam in this game -- the hosts specifically indicated that it's "at our own risk". Similar warnings have gone unheeded in some recent town failures, especially in these big ass games.

Let's sort our POE needs right away, as much as we can:

24 players. One mafia team. 3Ps possible -- I'll guess one as a baseline. Most likely arrangement if so (give or take some for extra 3Ps or if power role strength is considerable):

With no extra kills that leaves 6 mischops available, and with 5 mafia that means a POE of 11 is needed (so 13 town, 12 not named YOU). Make it a POE of 12 to be safer if you like. Basically our immediate goal should be to cut this roster in half with gorgeous town dates or to come as close as possible. This can be done, so let's do it.

It occurs to me that my typical first date experience is often a lot like my typical Day 1 experience in Mafia -- I feel like I have to do most of the talking to keep things moving, and it usually ends with me losing.
