Set up grants town 1 IC or a 50/50. PR should claim, mafia should kill them and hope the person who receives the role isn't recognized as being town. Instead mafia just killed the PR receivers which makes it too easy for town, who now get 2 elims per day.

But yeah, I feel like this game gave me a lot of information on how to read the site meta. Also, site meta of town quitting is real, R.I.P Mizery, I doubted my read at the last second.

I'm of the belief that a non-majority vote should result in a town death or sleep 100% of the time. The means of accomplishing this don't really matter.

I'm in shock that we haven't killed the Alison slot which even if we forget about Lomo and the weird EoD (sure you can shoehorn in this absurd theory that Mac is peddling - but why don't two of them just smack down JJJ - falcon was capped).

Why's that make them townie? Both of them can believably switch to me EOD if they need to, and they can also stay off my wagon to avoid getting their hands dirty if they wish. (Applying more to Nanook than motel for the latter.)

I think Motel Room if mafia is more likely to already have his vote on you unless the team is exactly you two. Motel Room isn't an obsessed thread camper that plans out things well ahead of time.

I didn't think of this, but I would expect an occam's razor player to have deduced that.

This doesn’t make sense, because it establishes a world where Alison can gain town cred, where in my view she can’t. Order matters in mafia because people have a real hard time sticking to a plan.

The part that you’re missing in your statement about the game being unwinnable, is that it’s pretty hard for a team of Alison/Motel Room to win from here regardless of what you do.
