Honestly, the best part of this game is Urist saying he wont let me near him or his sons. I don't even like his son.

Re: AtLA post-game (mafia win)
I'm a very forgiving soul, it would have gone something like:
Mac, you're wrong. The red check was great
StarV, you're a dick.
Mac, I agree 100%, I was just trying to dunk on mafia though
StarV, I can't stay mad at you buddy.
Aww, I know mac, I know...
At least that's how it unfolded in my dream.

Re: AtLA post-game (mafia win)
If Mac was town he would have organised the town when I asked him to and we wouldn't have been in the same situation.Guillotine wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 6:56 pmHow can you compare a fake red check to a night vig taken on a hunch? Night vigs are supposed to do that, you are not supposed to fake a redcheck and not rescind it, period. We will never know what would have happen if Axe didnt do what he did, but i think you overestimated your faction's situation there. LoMo and Seanzie were high suspects and i believe we would have yeeted one of them if it wasn't for Axe red check that took the game hostage, we were forced to believe Axe had a redcheck and forced to form reads out of that.MacDougall wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 6:44 pm This game ended d1 honestly. If y'all really consider how far behind town was when Justin got mod killed, KZA got vigged and then two town flipped. I was playing deepwolf and paying no attention to my antispew and got vigged and it barely even helped the odds. Axehole's decision may have been questionable but it was much like Felicis taking a hero shot. If I flip town are you all on Felicis's case like this? On day 2 the only person Axe has a green on is himself and nobody was listening to each other so he did what he could to create the highest percentage chop in a very low percentage situation. It wasn't like he faked a red from a game winning situation and cost town the game imo. D2 was already, as proven, the penultimate day of the game. I honestly doubt you would have got a mafia flip in any other way anyway. In many ways him doing that may have been town's only path to victory. If only he faked the red on Seanzie.
Mafia had an easy win due to Axe's actions, he was the best wolf partner from another faction that you could have hoped for and you would be mad if you had randed town in this game, i know that for sure.
Also, pretty sure we would have made up by now even in the same situation.

Re: AtLA post-game (mafia win)
Yeah, it's really nice to have in a game where role is connected to alignment though because you need some claim prevention. The issue here is that roles don't matter. People can literally just claim their exact role and defend the actions they took, or make them up if not public knowledge.

The only thing with the "soup kill" that I didn't like is that, in my opinion, anti-claim measures aren't really needed when roles have no connection to alignment.

Re: AtLA post-game (mafia win)
Also, on the last day I had the vibe that it was LyLo, so I intentionally escalated the situation so that I could believably out the information about TSP. The goal was to bait mafia into shooting the bulletproof. But I had already spilled the beans to Seanzie because I figured the game was lost if Seanzie was mafia because the vigi shot/game state was going to be impossible to workaround.
In the end, I don't think it mattered either way. Mafia was probably winning anyway, I didn't really get the soup kill thing, but I also didn't read the setup, so idk.

Ok, so here's what's going to happen. I'm going to flip town and if there's a tomorrow you're going to mass claim. Specifically looking for discrepancies with how the game played out. mafia have 2 vig shots (1 marked for death poison shot). Also, I was roleblocked / didn't get a result last night.
You can probably get a lot of detail from a mass claim.

Re: AtLA D3
I mean, Guillo believes this.Grogu wrote: ↑Sun Jul 04, 2021 3:26 pmThis would be so fake. He doesn’t believe this.Long Con wrote: ↑Sun Jul 04, 2021 10:13 am We have a dayvig to publicly plan?
Pretty sure that this is all bullshit, and Grogu is a wolf with Axe. What a world-view. "Two people who voted me are wolves, YAWN, ok, hard day's work, I'm done."Grogu wrote: ↑Sun Jul 04, 2021 2:06 am This is why I said: I literally cannot die. I leave the game but talk to aang and tell them my reads amd get to solve. I didn’t understand who aang was when I read my role. That’s why I realized later on my role was actually very important. I make aang stronger.
Good luck friends. I think killing me is the best play since axe has to be town also.
We need to look at the people like creature who jumped on me and long con.
Just very suspect, those would be the people I would vote but I don’t think we can change everyone mind.
No way me and axe are wolves together

Sigh, try to critically analyse the game plz.Guillotine wrote: ↑Sun Jul 04, 2021 3:24 pmBecause Axe is scum of course.NotAnAxehole wrote: ↑Mon Jun 28, 2021 8:19 pmVery astute observation. Guillotine being a memer that is excessively meming which seems like something a scum memer could get caught up in (or a disinterested towny).
Or EnderWiggin giving the excessive memer a town pass.
Probably the latter?
@MacDougall I know you're voting luckbox, but can you play devil's advocate for a second and give me a reason why I should town read him? I feel like there are a couple of meta options, I'll let you choose your approach though.

Re: AtLA D3
I mean I know there is a 1-shot killproof role in the game, and a roleblocked that claimed not to roleblock me, yet I was roleblocked.Guillotine wrote: ↑Sun Jul 04, 2021 3:22 pmThis is TMI. We don't know if we are at Lylo unless you know numbers, scum numbers.NotAnAxehole wrote: ↑Sun Jul 04, 2021 3:20 pm So yeah, I've actually been playing to wincon, I don't know what the fuck you guys are doing @Guillotine @Vulgard . Literally not considering anything and blind retribution kill in potential LyLo is just brutal.
So yeah there is a chance this is the end.

Re: AtLA D3
Like, in a game where roles were handed out before alignment, you thought there was an alignment checking role, how is that even on me?

"By Policy"Guillotine wrote: ↑Sun Jul 04, 2021 3:18 pmI'm sorry but I don't negotiate with scum and I scum read you since day 1, I backed off on Day 2 cause by policy I had to believe you were outing a true redcheck, but you didn't. Everything you've done in this game is anti-town so the conclusion is that you are just mafia.NotAnAxehole wrote: ↑Sun Jul 04, 2021 3:10 pm I think Guillotine joined this game saying I'm going to kill NOTANAXEHOLE and nothing will stop me. It's ridiculous, you can't even have a reasonable conversation with the guy.
Well there's your problem.

Re: AtLA D3
Also, if we're going to get technical about it, the only anti-town thing I've done is claim and hold a red check the d1 and the vig aren't entirely my fault and also not any worse than what anyone else did.
So, let's look at the red check... If Dana was mafia, the play is +EV, and if I consider you all to be dice throwing monkeys (which I did), then me claiming a red check is +EV unless there is a retribution kill against me which I didn't think was actually going to happen.
