I get that. But I also think you’re a strong player, and part of that means you can probably manipulate your meta to trick people who know you. Like it could very well be a case of what happened to me with vulguard in our first game where I got overly paranoid when I should have listened to Occam’s razor. I probably think nanook is more likely than you mostly because I hated how lc made a massive case on him but chose to vote wiml instead. He also tied tsp as a partner read to nanook which is something I’ve never seen anyone do in a big case. At the time I thought he possibly did it to set up a chain mislynch on tsp if nanook actually did flip scum.

I can’t rely really on the concept of people knowing you best=you to be town. Because the people that knew LC best called him town too.

Fwiw I still got a lot of rereading to do and vulguard can probably confirm I’m someone whose prone to changing their mind a LOT but atp I do feel confident in calling him and tsp town so it’ll probably take a lot for that to change.
Tbh I'm fine with Nanook sus. He was my top basic read for partnered as well, and I agree Vulgard seems towny.

But I'm going to do a re-read before committing to that. Also I still think you're one of my hardest town, ESPECIALLY because LC took a lot of time to ask Alexa constantly if you were still 100% town to her.

Also re: Manipulating meta, sure I can do that. I'm just frustrated because to be sussed right after I caught the scum that no one else wanted to help me push is bloody annoying.

Also I think you're pre-maturely hard-clearing TSP. I had him at meta-town but as I said to Mac on D2 his posts felt bad and the "dumbtell" was sus.

One thing I never got was why you felt so confident I was town in the early game? Usually people who played with me for the first time take a bit more time to get there.

And from memory vulguard was trashing LC a fair bit in his catch up posts. I don’t think he needed to do that as scum, especially when he could have just tried to shade tsp instead who wiml was fossing before the sub. Also it makes no sense for vulguard to bring sus on alexa and then just nk her.

I mean there also is the argument that can be used that me being alive over alexa when she was wary of vulguard and I was townreading him could possibly imply I’m wrong on that read. But I really don’t see why LC comes into the day casing both nanook and tsp. Has ender pushing him on the side. And through all that decides it’s optimal for him to vote vulguard. If vulguard got yeeted that means LC would have to endgame and I think he realised he wasn’t in a position to do that so for that reason alone I don’t think it’s vulguard.

On top of that him and wiml both had a fuck tonne of towny moments

based on what i know of syn, killing them for their play alone would be a bit odd. they are a complete wildcard but esooa's slot was an IC. something to consider though for sure

I don't necessarily "push" on people. My idea is to "gather the troops" and 1 by 1 get people to vote out who I want voted out.

This was similar to how I won cop CC battles on EpicMafia. I would basically just ATE the entire player roster 1 by 1 to get them to vote out my CC.

I wanted to say that's actually towny for alexa in a vacuum if transcend didn't change his alexa read afterward. If you're wolfing, you don't push the villagers who are townreading you. fwiw in a world ur town, which im starting to think you MIGHT be, i used to play just like you. coming straight into the game tunneling reads from page 1. ive veered away from it because its bad for thread health and all you achieve is that you put the entire focus on two slots and give everyone else a pass to slide under the radar in a world where we're tvt. all you've achieved is hinder both our processes in evaluating other slots because we've been so focussed in a circular argument that seems to be based on a difference of perspective more than anything else.
