I was surprised nobody brought this up earlier. Yeah I get it looks bad. I didn’t have much of an opinion on seanzie, or most slots at that point since there wasn’t much game related content to go through. I felt like the elim yesterday was more or less going to be upto rand.

Well because I know I’m town so I’m not too actively worried about looking bad because I know I can justify myself if anyone brings it up as a concern, but if nobody brings it up then there’s no real point for me to get defensive over nothing.

Thing is, when I’m looking at teammate equity, it’s prettt common for even town to not have pertinent interactions with the dead wolf. This could be the case, so I’m not going to press that point as much as the others, but when push came to shove towards EoD you made a point that you didn’t know who to vote, seemed to cherry pick some of Seanzie’s votes, call it town, and go sip on your Tom Collins in your hammock afterwards.

It’s always very easy to not have an opinion on some players if you’ve never interacted. That’s an easy wolf cover, anywau

It can be wolf cover sure, but it can also just be two people who simply didn’t interact which is what happened. His iso is 18 posts most of which were one line sentences answering addressing what other people had said. There really wasn’t much there for me to interact with or to form a read on. I’m sure if you read the iso yourself even with the power of hindsight on your side, you’ll agree that there’s nothing about those 18 posts that exceedingly scream wolf or town from his posts

Though my question to you Scotty is that why is my handling of seanzie one that has high scum equity whereas when I’m concerned on tsp, it seems as though you’re okay to give him a pass? On one hand I wasn’t sure on the wagons so I decided to iso both the slots in contention and the one game related line I found I thought was slightly villagery, whereas tsp actively tried to steer the wagon away from seanzie much more vocally. Why is the latter less concerning to you?

I am glad he is trying to fix it as well and as much as I think Nanook is scum at the moment we agree on not being responsible for other peoples behavior. I also agree exploding is replicable as wolf. But as long as he does it people will try to use it.

When he no longer does it is when people wont reach for it.

yeah i agree, though i think most people do explode or "act out" to a certain degree when being pressured, some people have a higher threshold than others. to this day spf and maybe hally are the only two players ive seen that handle pressure in a composed and respectable manner, i think everyone else does crumble and get toxic to a certain degree.

It’s interesting how many people give lc flak for exploding In games but then struggle to find him as town through his solving ( imo its correct to give him flak for exploding and I’m glad he’s trying to fix it since I don’t endorse that behavior) but I do think the best way to read lc is through the level of depth of his solving which To my knowledge thus far he hasn’t been able to replicate as wolf. He can replicate the exploding if he really wants to fwiw

I just went through your iso to see if I could pick out a quote. I wouldn’t say there’s one quote that specifically stands out that hits me as this post always comes from town. Rather, it’s all your posts in conjunction that you made Today that comes across from the point of view of someone who is piecing together everything they know after the flip and the nightkill in a way that feels really towny. What I’m trying to say is there isn’t one singular quote that is more towny than the rest, but rather everything you posted and the thought process behind your evaluation as you were sifting through the game today just came across as really genuine and towny to me.

Which line was it?

It was the line where he was prodding Alison for his read on him. It’s hard to explain why I liked it, but I did. If I had to put it to words;I think rondo urging Alison to take a stance on him when her initial read seemed vague is a towny mindset to have.

I also don’t really understand the scumreads on rondo rn. He had a line I liked earlier

Alexa claims he's very polarized.

Alexa also knows me very well and has seen in me all my ranges plenty of times, we’re also good friends, so whats seen as polarized to her is very different to everyone else. Until very recently I was undefeated as scum in FM(and I lost because my team needed me to power wolf which I’m not very good at since I’m used to just trying to endgame or deepwolf) and I always trick everyone the first time I scum against them, and usually the next few times too. I do agree that I am polarized if you are someone who knows me well like alexa does, I don’t think strangers will spot the difference if I’m trying my best. A good example is that spf has townread me as scum 3 times in a row lately and she’s regarded as one of the best players to play(which I agree with) . But that’s because she just hasn’t played much with me recently as Alexa has recently to notice what makes me polarized, and also because I’ve told alexa what my ranges are whilst I haven’t told spf. Alexa and me are also very similar in how we play so that’s another reason why I’m super obvious to her, on top of her being a top tier player too.

TLDR: I am polarized but only a few people would actually know why, so tr’ing for that will make you defs lose to me when I actually do flip scum

I often throw out a lot of gut reads into the game to try and move away from rvs since I’ve never really been too into rvs. You feel comfortable in the thread and that’s enough for me to think you’re town for now
