Absolutely not.
Time is finite tho
I get that it's better to err on the side of more discussion, but it's tinfoil and tinfoil alone on a truly petty point that still isn't on track to turn into anything useful pages later.
I disagree wholeheartedly. If we have concerns, it is better to voice them and allow them to play out than to remain silent.
Tinfoil is perfectly healthy when you voice it and then put it in its rightful place as tinfoil. Unfortunately people don't really do that.
Sure. Pursue suspicions responsibly. But to say something is “meaningless to pursue” is counterproductive and dismissive.

LC you can find in a few places in my ISO. Bo is semi-existant and as far as I can tell the case is a combination of "slanker" and """vibes""", so he gets a frustrating null. I can at least see how Urist is getting where they're getting, just no special town moments yet and that tinfoil stuff.

This totally sidesteps the question. It doesn't do anyone justice. When called out on this, C4 launched into a rip against me saying I picked it up for BTSC[citation needed], saying that I am being coached[citation needed], and that I am just repeating everything he is saying about me[citation needed].

I'm unclear on why anyone is taking this fool seriously. He might not be bad-- my early read can be wrong. My gut on this vague statement can be a red herring. But his posts are devoid of any analysis or substance.

631 is not actually evidence that there are teamed wolves pushing you

for one I have a strong townread on dom and am not convinced at all that the votes on you are a conspiracy, but even if we grant that you are right that dom is looking for reasons to attack you, there is nothing to say that they were concocted in scumchat or that scumchat has other people voting you (as opposed to just giving dom talking points)

I think if you believe that someone is showing up to repeat words put in his mouth by someone else, that makes more sense if they're the designated messenger, whereas if that someone else was already on the wagon, they would be the first to recite that case and just tell dom to smile and agree.
Eh, all depends how much detail you think wolves would put into their gameplan 6 hours in.

Re: Fallout 2: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game [Day 1]

Sloonei wrote: Mon Mar 01, 2021 3:08 pm Here's why I struggle to accept that spf was satisfied with the results of her reaction test: the only people who had reacted to it were the two people she claims to have been town-reading in the first place. If I were town and in spf's shoes here, this wouldn't be even a remotely satisfying result. I'd want more people to chime in before I deem the reaction test a success. I would not want to run a reaction test early in the game just for the purpose of solidifying my two early town reads. If I did, I would not be holding it up as a productive experience. I also would not be saying it has resulted in a lot of valuable or productive dialogue if the dialogue was just blanket suspicion against me. That can become valuable dialogue, but you need to work to do something with it. I do not see spf doing that.
This is all too reachy. I agree the move was dumb and counterproductive, but this is too convoluted to be useful. I can definitely see this coming from town spf with just a mild amount of stubbornness about how she wants to word it. Plus, spf's "I already explained all of this seven times already please" attitude reads as way too real.

The... the LC read was... for joking about being a mason...

Okay, I'm willing to actually keep talking about this, but first I'll need input from other people here who are familiar with the site's meta about whether or not it's actually total horseshit to call someone scum for thinking relaxedness is a tell, because this is supposed to be extremely fucking basic and disagreeing is one thing and perfectly fine but then actually making an attack out of someone doing it should be out of the question.
I'm confused. Are you asserting that being "relaxed" is a scum tell?
No, and I don't want to deal with questions that could be resolved by "actually read my fucking post", so please go away.
No <3

I say that a particular person had a particualr conversation in BTSC to arrive at a particular read. Three people immediately show up with the same read for a hundred different reasons. Nothing to see here.

idk, I think it can be, cause like I said before, it's a bit weird you town read me for that post specifically, when imo there's probably a lot more reasons to town read me with a more solid basis

So I'm thinking on whether if you're a wolf you would just use those better reasons, and so doing it is towny cause it's something that specifically stood out to you worth noting

Or whether if you're a wolf you'd bring that up to sound insightful like Alison said

Not sure on it, I can see it though, but I think you're probably town atm
You answered nothing. I say "relaxation is towny". Someone says "saying that is scummy because it's fundamentally wrong". Do you call BS?

What is your mafia experience? What sort of things will you be looking for on Day 1?
My experience is a bunch of games, most on AoPS, some on MU, and I'm looking for AI posts like a normal person.
What the fresh hell does this mean? Vague on vague on vague. I am not entertained.
[VOTE: C4] aubergine
Nani the fuck you picked the single least vague post I've made in this entire thread to call vague. Fake read sir.
What do you mean "fake read"? Why is that wolfy? What is "Nani the fuck"?
Fake read: A read that isn't real
Wolfy: Dom wasn't actually trying to evaluate me but was acting like he was
Nani the fuck: Wtf
So literally the exact same thing I scumread Esooa for. Yet you acted like that was outrageous. Nanny fuck what's up?

There's nothing incorrect about Dom's post. "I played games in places, and uh, I try to read posts." LOL yeah that's not vague at all. You're the fake one, Seefore.
Obviously the difference is the reason the read is being called fake. You called a read fake for a reason that anyone who thought for two seconds could explain away. I called a read fake for calling "Hi what's your playstyle" "Hi here's my playstyle" scummy.
