It's not the same thing. With you I feel like there's an interest or sequence to your thought process even if it's sometimes random and disconnected. I don't feel the same way with Wilgy. It's disconnected in that it feels like he doesn't care about knowing the answers to his questions.

I don't think Kate and Dennis being outed means he's clear, but I also think my time rn is best spent looking for difficult wolves. We don't have huge likely t/t wagons pushed by very skilled players if the game is easy, I don't get randomly suspected if the game is easy, and I don't think Kate is the first to get outed if the game is easy.

As far as who could be the difficult baddies, I don't think it's Mac or Tutuu. I have an idea that it might me SVS and I also want to look into Falcon and Jack. As far as SVS, I find it weird that Kate didn't make a read on her at all. SVS being fooled by Kate makes sense, but similarly to how Kate ignored Dennis Kate also ignored SVS but even more and I'd expect Kate to have some read on her. Dennis may have signaled SVS because he thought Seanzie was SVS, but what if Dennis signaled SVS because he thought she was bad for other reasons?

I got BTSC with her, and I came in out the gate saying that I was a sin and I would have died if I targeted a non-sin, so I knew she was a sin. Gambit paid off, and she slipped up kinda quick, then doubled back because I think she realized I could be lying, and then we went back and forth for a while with her not trusting me, then I found out that we can say anything we want in BTSC (and promptly shit my pants because all the sudden I needed a fakeclaim). She was asking if I was Pride, which made me think it was a trap, so I claimed to be lust and that I was starting an orgy/cult and needed to recruit other sins to win. She didn't believe me, and sent me a screenshot of her rolecard (she is lust). I found a way to backpedal, and said I was gluttony and that my own sins are not enough to satisfy me, so I think I convinced her that my cult was real, and that I just needed to find 3 other sins. She told me she knew who Greed was, and I spent the rest of the time trying to figure out who Greed was, but I could tell she didn't fully trust me (she asked me to share my role card and I didn't, so yeah...) I think I did a good job of being like "well, at EoD you'll have the option to join my cult. After you're the same alignment as me, I will full-share. That's really cool. I missed your cool gambits and mech plays. So it seems like Dennis wasn't really outed, then why did he just give up alongside Kate? And would he even know about all this? Yes things looked bad for him but not completely impossible.

I had already guessed that Dennis was Greed in the BTSC (Kate said Greed had also agreed to join the cult, and said that Greed didn't know who I was, and then I saw Dennis make a post about SVS that looked like he was signalling to SVS [because I think Dennis thought I was SVS] which made me think Greed was Dennis), and Kate denied it, but I think she probably warned Greed that I was onto him. Mac's mech kinda locks in Dennis as Greed though since Kate specifically said she targeted Greed to create the BTSC they had, and Mac tracked Kate to Dennis.

I see what you're saying, but honestly, Kate kinda early resigned herself to "I'm screwed if you're town", and I think her and Dennis were talking for a while, so it is possible the "belly up" is sudden-looking for us, but that both of them have been kind of expecting it since Kate has been very back-and-forth in trusting me most of the day, and after I revealed she even said that she had kinda thought I was town leading her on, but again was screwed already so had no choice but to trust me somewhat.

late bit of info for any that wants a mech summary quote post, I think this is everything so far?

The fact that Kate said her and Dennis switched roles makes me think the order is a crap shoot. The part of Kate's role that I know requires people to trust Kate, so as long as everyone is aware of Kate and Dennis being sins, they should be powerless (except to possibly communicate with other sins) I'm not sure of Dennis's role, but if they possibly switched it's all topsy-turvy.

This is the exact time that people in the PoE should try to town it up, and should try to hunt. It might feel like we've just got to wait for flips, but instead think of this like a long day 4. Who is excited about this development? Who is trying to fake it? Who is John Doe?

I think the fact that Wilgy leaned into the TMI and 3p thing twice could be fake, so it is not an unreasnable take. I cannot comment on Wilgy not following up since I didn't read all of D1, but the parts I can comment on seem reasonable.

I purposefully ask similar questions to the same people game after game to see how people respond and to build a baseline with how to judge their responses. Almost always when I do this, one of the times I ask it of a mafia townreading me they will recycle one of the previous ways they answered as town, and I spot it. I can give clear evidence of catching both Alison and Dizzy with this exact technique.

There isn't anything even remotely like that here; while I guess she could be a sin, her game as Lost Wolf in Scooby Doo I think it was, was impressive, and I think (could be wrong) that the Purples are perhaps similar to lost wolves, comparing her to a game where there was (at least on Day One, not sure if that is still the case, would Scotty even tell us if a bad team forms?) is pretty unfair, don't you think?

I appreciate this read, it's very fair and unbiased. I have thought to myself about 1000x that I'll be punished for quite some time for having a few good games. I'll be lynched if I'm "off" and nk'd if I'm active. I'm trusting my gut a lot less her than I have been lately because the stuff I used to sus people isn't happening her. The last game for instance, the sdn'rs defended hard and that's where that solve came from. That just isn't gonna happen here.

I'm also petrified bc the person I want to vote the most is wilgy and I was massively wrong on him before.
I've been feeling the same way about this game. Even though there are 8 non-town I've had a hard time finding scumreads. Even Mac is a somewhat low confidence scumread for me.

@Seanzie what's your read on me? I thought you'd have one by this point.

If I would have read D1, I might have one. I didn't read D1 and I don't think you've posted more than twice today.

I also protected Kate last night and kind of have a feeling she was the mafia NK and the Doom kill was something else. That doesn't clear her from being a sin, but if I'm right, it is a good look for her.

I didn't get feedback, if that's what you're asking. It just makes more sense IMO than a DoOm shot (no offence to DoOm, she's a good player when her head is in the game, just she doesn't usually command a lot of thread pull).
