So I skimmed the last couple hours of d2 and just acted on nanook because something he posted pinged me, I don't recall what it was, and I think either Mac or someone else I was village reading had said he was sus.

I just wasn't here. Like I literally was driving and dealing with moving for most of those days and didn't have internet, I didn't have time to take a better look, I only got the action in right before night closed.

You're at least partly right. If you were mafia and town were on the wrong track, it would be an unnecessarily risky move to come into the thread like this and vote Rondo. I don't think you do that if you're mafia and the current gamestate is good for you.
