Towny, cuz is it worth it to pocket falcon given his thread rep?

The Thunal point in particular: the conclusion does not match the observation at all. No thought was given to this read, ergo wolfy.
Yet here, you do seem to want an explanation of a read...because you make up your own explanation
On the spot I might add, and without asking where the read came from

We have 4 votes in non consensus places (including Falcons). That leaves 8 of us left to vote(and Rico has been AFK) .
For me, the three people that have votes already are off the table. Dizzy and Thunal are off the table for me since I’m townreading them both in addition to agreeing with LC.
I also town read Scotty and Syn.
That leaves my personal voting pool at Epi, Falcon, Marmot, Nutella and Rico.
I think Falcons belief that making more emotionally accurate posts by using qualifying words (for a tone reader like me) is wolfy is a bit old fashioned, but I don’t shade him for suspecting me for it. I’d rather not vote for him and I’d rather not vote for Rico since the only rationale for that would be low poster.
I think Nutella’s reaction was more frustrated than Wolfy. I also think Marmots bad and don’t see them and Nutella bad together.
That leaves, for me, Marmot and Epi. I’d prefer Marmot, but I really don’t want to spread votes too much do will consider others. I will have to vote half hour or so before EOD as I’ll be driving home when the poll ends.
I am in my late 60's
Is your SR of Epi more just a process of who's more towny, or is there something specifically wolfy you're seeing?
He has an activity litmus, and I'm not seeing him as wolf here.
Talk to me about Marmot, & Syn plz
I can’t really pull multi quotes on phone but I’ll do my best to do so before EOD which happens before I’m home to better explain how I feel about Marmot. I’ll try to pull quotes at lunch.
My Epi read is more absence of towniness than overt baddieness. All the people I said I would rather not vote for, I had reason to think they’re town. I also am not sure I buy the “oops I didn’t know votes were locked”,since he DID know about post caps. Whereas I think you really didn’t know when you voted. It seems more in character for you than for Epi. I’m not sure I buy that he believes what he says.
Syn just seems solvey and is engaging, asking questions and paying attention to the answers, it’s my experience when baddies ask questions, they don’t necessarily pay attrntion to the answers enough to follow up, so I’m TRing Syn more for general towniness as I see it than for meta specific to him. I don’t have as much experience with Syn as I do with most everyone else in here.
Can you take a look at what I've said about Syn re: his questions to myself & Epi?

You've got 9 posts left...this one hardly seems like a wise choice, given that you've said you want to be around for EOD (will be back to vote & things later), and especially as it's somewhat ambiguous
I don't want you to use a post responding to this one btw
When you're able, would you mind talking about your Sean & Syn certainty?
To put it simply, they're both kinda polarized players, and aren't in their wolf meta.
To put it more eloquently:
Sean has had a little bit of bite in his pressure (particularly on me) in this game. That's townie for him. He's made observations that look fairly believable to me. Probably the one knock on him that could be wolfy is that his signals of who he might vote seems performative, but I'm not putting much stock in that because of the locked votes mechanic in the game. Talking about votes == placing a pressure vote in this game.
Syn often plays like a background player, being overly critical of things that catches his eye, generally not engaging players in extended discourse, but rather watching stating the things as they come. He's making reads that are not necessarily consensus. These are things that are somewhat townie for players in general, as they focus more on game-solving rather than trying to appear townie. I think they're particularly true for Syn because my (probably obsolete) meta expectation of him as a wolf is that he's extremely stilted and has trouble saying things in a way that looks like he believes them. If someone has different experience with w!Syn, or one that's more recent than 2020, I would love to hear it.
---------
But tbh, I'm not interested in chopping anyone in that list of 4 towncore I mentioned, so I'm not really into talking about them beyond this unless they become a viable wagon.
Do you have any opinions/preferences on Dizzy/Thunal/Epi?
Thunal I don't really have an opinion on, so let's say town.
I feel Epi is more present & engaged D1 for it to be Maf Epi

Re: The Emperor's Soul [D1]
S~V~S wrote: ↑Tue Aug 08, 2023 5:49 am Well that was a fun catch up read.

Re: The Emperor's Soul [D1]
You've got 9 posts left...this one hardly seems like a wise choice, given that you've said you want to be around for EOD (will be back to vote & things later), and especially as it's somewhat ambiguous
I don't want you to use a post responding to this one btw
When you're able, would you mind talking about your Sean & Syn certainty?

Re: The Emperor's Soul [D1]
To my knowledge, Epi has not answered your question.
Why are you not following up? You said...something....regarding why you didn't follow up with me (I don't believe your answer btw), but why not follow up w/ the player who hasn't answered?
Perhaps he has, & I missed it...but I don't believe so, I'm in his ISO right now

Marmot wrote: ↑Tue Aug 08, 2023 10:07 am I'm leaning away from chopping nutella today.
I also refuse to chop Syn, SVS, Sean, and LC.
I'm disinclined to vote Dizzy, Thunal, or Epi. They're townleans but not srong ones atm.
This leaves me at falcon, Scotty, and Rico. I'm also not a fan of voting Rico because chopping a player with one post will give us very little to work with, regardless of alignment.
2 of your 3 POE have less than 25 posts this game currently.
Is that really were your solve is?

Re: The Emperor's Soul [D1]
Well, I have explained my SVS read, and I thought you and I were on the same page re: LC
Dizzy is carefree, yet also tunneled Marmot, and has not interacted w/ Marmot much since that I've seen, and doesn't seem interested in re-evaluating
I'm side eyeing Sean right now...lynching me D1 is sub-optimal, and he knows that

How often have I ever hit 70 posts in a RD?
Almost never. I am unconcerned

I do not wish the Maf a good game, they can go fuck themselves (respectfully, of course)
Hmmmm...
Of course I'm looking to rattle my saber, I'm here to lynch Maf
Your hedge is duly noted
It feels more like a throwaway remark, like “I am town!”, than a serious attempt to actually appear towny.
It just seems somewhat (perhaps … kinda?) excess to needs. Not sure what, if anything it means. Performative.
Kinda. Maybe.
Awe, now you appear to be deflecting from your take, and minimizing my criticism by making this a half joke post.
Kinda...but, no actually
