Re: Scooby Doo: Monster Collective (Day 2)
Yes, but why? Your vote for him now seems to be based off "Let's get the CW to green flip"...and I'm just wondering if there's actually something behind your SR of Jack beyond that.CRichard wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 8:10 pmAhem I voted Jack before EOD1 and am voting them now. That should make it pretty obvious Jack is in my PoE.falcon45ca wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 8:08 pm Ya know if you ISO CR and do a word search for "Jack", you'll get 20 matches...and almost none of them have anything to do at all with actually reading Jack or engaging with him

Re: Scooby Doo: Monster Collective (Day1)
Wilgy never addresses this flagrantly false representation of my SR on his slot...namely, how chummy he was w/ Kate w/ no real reason ever stated, just the vague "I like your posts"...and then he tried to frame it as tho I felt there was tension between the two, when that is the antithesis of my read.falcon45ca wrote: ↑Tue Mar 07, 2023 11:26 pmSee, the problem with this take is that my take wasn't based off tension...but rather the lack of it.DrWilgy wrote: ↑Tue Mar 07, 2023 6:58 pmKate, my friend, the dif check that Falcon references is simply implying that there are two conditions upon us. One a condition of one of us being a wolf, and two a condition of us not being on the same team.
However, the fault with this thinking is that there's not nearly enough tension held by either you or I that would make this possible. Falcon, are we being silly again?
You said you were a fan of Kate's posts...what stuck out to you specifically? Which of her reads/opinions did you agree with the most?

I'm 100% sure I never said anything even close to that in GoC, and there's a world of difference between advocating for Vks against anti-town 3P than using the DK on a possible pro-town 3PNeon wrote: ↑Tue Mar 07, 2023 9:34 pmHmm...I wonder does the person who spent all of GoC saying "I really don't care if we kill mods quad or soup mafia both are anti town and need to die" would spend this game trying to kill a 3P who is anti town.falcon45ca wrote: ↑Tue Mar 07, 2023 6:25 pm Neon's take re: Scrappy...like, does she have a meta of "always go after 3Ps"? Either way I really don’t like the diverting attempt and when I finally do ISO he’s gonna be my first and is right now in the lead for mafia.
My view on it is he got called out for not doing much which is within scum meta, so he cobbled together a quick case.
General rapid fire reads.
Lucy is likely not mafia and if my tone was rough sorry all in the spirit of the game.
Creature, Neon, and dunya all seem towny so far confidence of read in that order.
Chihiro I’m leery on half the time I find myself liking their posts and half the time I think they’re scummy I need to do a more in depth read of them
Dennis I’m side eyeing but I’ll trust Katie here. Granted they could both be mafia and hard clearing, but I’ll give that a D1 pass.
Hmmmmmm...

Re: Scooby Doo: Monster Collective (Day1)
That's a lotta words for basically "I'll be keeping an eye on you" to like 2/3rds of the list...Roxy wrote: ↑Tue Mar 07, 2023 11:53 am anyway I just caught up and have my reads list:
lucy - you do have a habit of suspecting those who have wronged you in a game. It's understandable you get burned by misreading someone and then go overboard in your next few games with them. You sus of sig is noted however at this time I feel you may have latched onto something about him. I felt his tone was a bit harsher than I am used to. I also want to remind you of trying to generalize myu game style as you really have only played a couple of games with me. I do look at mechanics I just don't see it as solving in a mafia game. I look at it as a distraction something the mafia love and adore.
Kate - I am getting icky vibes from your posts and I am not digging it - at all. You were on the Scrappy train and it felt like you were using the discussion as a shield. If that makes sense, idk just a feeling I get from your posts.
pyxxy - I read EVERYTHING in every game I play which is why I often bitch about people not using the OT button when they are posting off topic. Or like Seanzie make time wasting posts of one letter at a time which I am sure he finds cute but I find it time wasting, time that could be better spent looking for baddies. I do not find you particularly susp. I feel you are trying but the way you approached N 0 poll gave me pause. I am keeping that as a ping for now but my eyebrow will be waiting to be twitched again. I obv read your N 0 post about your short list and your reasons behind it as I responded to/talked about it. Not sure why you want to make it seem like I am not reading....
Neon - playing completely diff than I am used to. Where the meme's? Where is the no one understands me/no one can read me? Laser focused on elimming a role D 1 where we will glean no useful info from. I disagree with your lack of looking elsewhere as you hold onto to your Scrappy susp. If you think the role maybe Jester equivalent then why would you push so hard for their elim?
Dennis - you are probs bad. Prove me wrong. I have this stuck in my gut, it will be hard for you to remove my susp. You have done sero solving and have not posted much substance.
Chihiro - don't know you at all but find myself agreeing with 3/4 of what you post. So null for you right now as I get to know your game.
Jack - not very solve -y this game. Just appeasing people who mentioned your name. I found it odd as you flew your own path in my previous game with you. What are you thinking? Not sure as all you did was agree with other people's thoughts.
Creature - I get the feeling like you are trying harding a lil too much and it gives me a bad feeling like I got in Carto. Your posts read like you are on auto pilot. I don't know how else to explain a feeling I get from your posts for that I am sorry. Maybe it's your read on pyx. Saying that you don't want to push them bc they are "doing stuff". That is not a very townie post to make imo.
sig - where in the f is your normal game? I cannot for the life of me remember you coming in so strongly in a game. Though I have only been back for a few games so far you feel off to me and I don't like it as I can usually find myself on the same page as you but not at all this game. You are laser focused on Scrappy and without looking for any other mafia players I have to wonder wtf you are on about. This focus on 3p roles has you twisted up. I also remember losing games bc of a 3p player - but- I also remember games where 3p's have helped the town win. It's about 50/50 in my memory. What else do you got?
Wilgy - hi. Yep you will always be hard for me to read but I feel pretty good about you so far. Your thoughts about Scrappy seem to be thought out but you do seem to be "sheeping" a bit more than normal this game. I also do not like the fact that you openly admit to not actually reading the full game. I am disappoint.
Seanzie - you agree that we should not just talk about Scrappy but yet elim them day one but also have to "generate good discussions" but then you thoughtfully provided zero thoughts on other players to help generate good discussions. I also dislike your use of one letter posts to boost your post count so players may not notice you never actually said anything in the posts you have made.
CRichard - don't know you at all but find myself agreeing with 1/2 of what you post. So null for you right now as I get to know your game. Like Chihiro.
falcon - usually I get a vibe right away about you and have been right so far. I have no vibe from you and it is making me nervous. I would like to sort you but I do not want to tell you what to do bc that might affect your shining tell that I have noticed about all of your games. Right now you are null to me with a watchful eye.
JDizz - you said I posted to point fingers - well it is how you play mafia. You find a susp and post about it. I found pyx's push for Oceanland susp. What I find susp others may not and vice versa. You then found pyx susp yourself as you latched onto someone else's (Jack iirc) susp and said you nwere voting pyx for it. but null for you right now as I get to know your game. Like Chihiro. Like CRichard.
DOOmega - you have done nothing in this game. Except complain it was boring but yet you did nothing about it. You could have posted some susp or even a simple meme or video but instead *crickets*. I guess you will be ignored but know that I am watching and keeping an eye on you waiting for you to offer anything of substance to help the town.
fingersplints - normal for you <3 post count wise but you have offered nothing beyond the scope of Scrappy and Funland. I cannot in good conscience say you are town when I have nothing to base it off of. Pstmornaoplazkktks
dunya - man it has been a minute since I last played with you. hi <3 so far I am getting good vibes from your posts but it has been awhile since we played together so I am not goona trust my initial read on you. But I will wait and watch instead.
Scrappy - enough posts have been wasted on discussing you, please offer substance for the town to dig into or stfu. Thanks have a nice day.
