It's not Lime's fault if other people misread him. Sure he has some influence on it, but it's our read in the end.

I don't think she'd go as far as she did though. The town loss thing felt a lot easier to tell the truth about than to lie about and I feel like you might pick up on that.

I'm not feeling Epi mafia anymore. I caught him from spec in that game where he was wolf with Delta and he felt different there. Here it feels like he's throwing out takes while there it felt like he had a clear agenda.

My worry is that Dizzy seemed to uncomfortably partially-pivot on Marmot after I full 180'd on Marmot. Scum!Dizzy could have been hoping I would tunnel Marmot and then I would take the fall for a town!Marmot flip, and then had to pivot when that wasn't going to happen any more. I know, this read is very me-centric, but I am kinda so good at this game that Carly Simon wrote a song about me.

There was a period of time where he didn't make his read on Marmot clear, which could have to do with your 180 but it's also possible he's town who reevaluted becuause he cared about your input.

I'm a bit paranoid that Falcon scumreads LC here but doesn't want his vote to be locked on him. When I've seen Falcon he doesn't change his vote often and usually keeps his scumreads for awhile, so I think t!Falcon might not mind his vote being locked.

And in retrospect, doing this kind of thing, placing a vanity vote (intentional or accidental) could be a way for baddies to manipulate the poll. With only 12 players, and locked votes, three non copnsensus votes is already limiting our options.

I hadn't thought of that earlier. I still think it looks NAI mostly for Falcon most of the three. Lc and Epis vote look less benign to me than they did.

The thing is that voting early is bad for mafia as well as for town, so I don't really think mafia would make an early vote on purpose.

Still catching up, but we absolutely need to consolidate votes better than this. From now on I think we should make pretend votes like we did in Grasslands before we lay down our actual votes.

Dyslexicon looks mean. Like out to get someone. The tone is a total contrast from what I'm used to seeing. That's the sense I got.

I have mixed feelings on him. I was worried about how hard he was going on Marmot, but I feel like he'd have more of a plan as a wolf. If Marmot is a wolf, I don't think Dizzy would bus him like this. If Marmot is town, it's such a clear trajectory from Marmot flips town > Dizzy gets suspected that I don't feel like Dizzy would think it's a good strategy.

Why is Nutella so low? I don't feel like you've talked about them much.

I had Nutella low then because of the pings I talked about and also because it pinged me that she suspected LC because his reads were nonsensical. I don't think she'd actively call Brad throwing and be annoyed about a potential town loss as a wolf though.

Also, Lime should absolutely not say who he's marking. Not only will wolves be able to block him, they may not block him if he's going to shoot a townie.

I won't be able to actually play for a few hours, but I agree with others that Nutella's reaction is town. I don't really have a strong scumread at this point.

I won't be able to do a whole lot today since I have a big project but I want to look into Marmot. I put some weight on Dizzy's read there.

Dizzy might be town actually. I was worried about him thinking people townreading Marmot was bad, but if he's wolf I'm not sure if he'd go that hard on a w!Marmot. I don't think it's a bus, and if Marmot flips town people will naturally look to Dizzy to suspect first. There's not really a need to go that hard this early.

It worries me that Nutella focused so much on defending why Marmot wasn't her partner. It feels like she's caught for the wrong reasons.

Like, ok. People can make 180’s in short amounts of time. I’ve done it this game.

What’s bugging me is that post in the middle where sean says ‘at this point it’s a pattern’. Because it seems to me that post is still shading marmot but he’s already reflected that he didn’t suspect him for the reason that he thought he did. Then to follow it up with marmot being one of the only ones in the top town tier? Baffling.

This was about you, not Marmot. Thanks for reminding me about it though. I woke up feeling fine about you this morning, but it does seem like last night I was hesitant, so I'll re-look at your ISO.

I pushed Marmot early on for a weak reason. I purposefully continued to mount pressure towards him to see how he would react. IMO, he reacted completely fine and did not give me "worried" vibes, which makes me think he is just town.

I buy that it was a reaction test.

Nutella had some quick reads. And then this somehow developed to this whole conversation where Marmot tries to ask Nut why she's Nut. And they both use words while also not really trying to communicate. Like, it's kind of unnecessary to communicate about in the first place, but they do it anyway, but they don't really do it.

I would agree that caring about appearances would be a bad look for Epi, specifically. He normally doesn’t give a rats butt how he looks.

Can you point me to a post where that happened? I read over the thread this AM and saw that that vote, and the 60/70 posts thing, had happened, but I didn’t read much into his reaction.

I have a very slight ping from Thunal's post here. Mainly the slight dig at me which is the only such post she made in the first couple pages of this game. Every other one has been a light off-topic comment, or something framing players in a more positive light (such as the townleans on nut and Scotty here).

The thing that bugs me a little is that I can see this sort of thing coming from a wolf attempting to ease into a scumlean, given that the observation itself isn't really something that would warrant a read.

But it's only a minor ping, because it could very well just be a dig, and I haven't noticed anything else from Thunal that's bothered me yet.

This pings me somewhat. Instead of trying to read around Epi's vote on me, Nutella brushes it off in a way that feels wolfy. Like she's keeping the option open to sus me and Epi but doesn't want to actually state a scumread on either of us.

Scotty is town. Accusing Epi of faking it is one of those things that's easier for a townie to think of.

I think Epi probably didn't know votes were locked. If Epi is mafia that faked not knowing votes were locked, what's his plan? To vote me, making his vote unavailable for anyone else later, and to risk it being seen as performative? I don't think it's a very good plan. I do have some paranoia after Belzy's snipe on me in Sesame Street, but I don't really think it's like that because he could easily have just voted me later.

What I was saying was that if you played like you did as a wolf, it would be taking a risk of getting early suspicion that might be difficult to defend against because you would want to emulate your town play.
