Despite Thunal's noncommittal read on LP they were by far the most static of LP's voters at EoD. That's probably the weirdest thing about Thunal's progression thus far.
I didn't hard scumread LP, I just thought she was a better vote than Scotty or pyxxy so even the moments when I thought she was towny I wasn't seriously considering switching. I'm somewhat anti CFD so it would have taken significant new evidence for me to switch my vote.

Same thing. I don't want to throw out a day's work in a last minute pivot unless there's significant reason for me to do so.

With Nanook it's more projecting what he's going to do with the posts he does have, like talking about making a winning PoE in a few phases and explaining that he posts a lot of fluff. I don't think this line of questioning is fair this early in the game. Like heaven forbid we don't have a read on someone 30 posts into the game.

That said, I think it is the kinda post I would expect more from a townie than a wolf.

I'm fully aware that I earlier agreed with Scotty that this was a wolfy post. Don't care. Now it's a townie post.

That's the main thing I'm getting out of my page one. I think Leetic's interactions with most everybody are townie. He's trying to squeeze content out of people.

There's no absolution if LP goes over and is town. But it saves people the trouble of going "why do/did you suspect LP" when the answer is that I don't. I don't have any suspects yet, really.
This is what I mean by awareness. Jack anticipated criticism/questioning multiple times, like saying he voted LP because of his townreads and saying that he agreed with Scotty earlier but now disagrees. A lot of wanting to tell the thread he's catching up too, which is >rand wolf.

Also, @Jackofhearts2005 I had voted LP right before you did and you voiced that one of my posts was yucky, did it bother you at all that I was voting there?
What do you think of Jack joining LC on the pyxxy wagon at EoD?

It could go either way. I don't think going on pyxxy is in itself towny like you said since there's a clear motive for a wolf to avoid the main town wagon. I do think it means Jack and LC probably aren't both wolves.

It's mainly introductions, I wanted to be around for most people getting here so I could get stuck into things but since things are quiet I'm struggling a little & I didnt really want to miss this and have all of my reads being from backreading off the word go.

I dont think there's much to his intro? Aside from slank cover. I've never played w him before so I dont fully know what to expect, which is why I gave my few little questions to try ease into things

We have 5 mins, can you give me a quick runthrough of your bottom tier? Just something short for each would be great \o/

Epi could easily go either way but I have some doubt he actually susses Dizzy. He went after hard targets when we wolfed together. LP I have pretty mixed feelings on. Wilgy reminds me a bit of the Sesame Street game, and Nanook is a half Dizzy sheep and half feeling like he hasn’t hit town Nanook points.

I think LP’s posts have been disconnected and odd. I don’t see any really wolfy things in them though. Unless Scotty’s posted more since I left, same thing with him. Both feel odd but not clearly wolfy.

I’m catching up and I keep thinking about this. Is LP someone who would feel more of an obligation to post as scum? It reminds me of when Kate said in a town game that she’d never use rl as an excuse for her wolfiness.

I’m not caught up and won’t really be here until the last hour, but I am paranoid about Dizzy because of how much he focused on Delta. I didn’t think about the focus much at first but I think hyper focusing on one person is scummy in some cases. Rn I don’t want to kill him though.

Mostly pressure, with some slight sus on him voting Seanzie for "strong stances" (I think that's towny for Seanzie) and not making a read out of the Leetic self awareness comment.

In Wilgys game, the two of you were back and forth with each other. I have found that when I was bad and faux cased a townie, my focus on finding flaw in their town game to use it against them in that game, led me to have a really good grip on their town game the next game we played together. Are you seeing contrasts between his town game *there* and his game here from that perspective?

I also found the "first game with X" thing odd, it wasn't just Scotty, I think perhaps Roxy also used almost exactly this same language, and it doesn't fit with old-school TS-meta, and I find it hard to think that both of them decided to somehow edit the old meta into a weird new phrasing that happened to match exactly. I also feel like I'm wearing a tinfoil hat while saying this though.

Honestly, I didn't find a lot of flaws with his town game. My case was based a lot on him misrepresenting me and on mech "gotchas", and I can't think of any social things he did that game that I would genuinely have found scummy as town. I thought he was obvious town from the start in that game.

I don't townread Scotty but I'm hesitant to vote him because this could very easily be busy town Scotty and that's why he hasn't hit his usual towny energy.

Slightly below null. I think it's funny that he pretty much did the opposite I did when asked for GTH reads. I've seen him not do much as town day 1 and I've seen him not do much as scum day 1, but as scum he leaned harder into a gimmick than I remember seeing him do as town. I think as both alignments he tends to not do a lot early and pick up later.

Perhaps, but also Dizzy is a weird sell of a townlean there, so I could see Thun including extra info to cover that base. IMO SVS is also a little bit of a weird sell at that point, so I'd be curious to hear from @Thunal33 why they included SVS.

I don't think Dizzy was a weird sell and I wasn't even the only one townleaning him. Initially I thought SVS's Epi townlean was a good look for her, and in general she's been fearless and prodding which I think is towny for her.

At first glance I'm not really liking leetic that much. As a whole their posts just look performative to me like they are trying to just go through the motions of looking town than actually trying to reach any sort of conclusions from anything they are doing. Like they keep talking about lurkers and using GTH for others, but they never really seem to follow up with lurker's posting or the responses to people after GTH (which is kind of the whole point of GTH).

Thunal is another person I took note of. They have a lot of town reads which makes me lean on them having TMI. I'm curious if they have anything that isn't a town lean or null.

To clarify, since I realize your question could go another way:

It is concerning to me that Thunal is participating and I wasn't aware of that until this point in the sense that Thunal is a very vocal and obvious civilian participant when civilian.

I do not suspect Thunal on that basis alone.

Both are believable at this point.
If Scotty is a wolf I don't see that being his angle. Most wolves, especially those who are strapped for time, tend to just focus on making themselves and possibly their partners look good rather than try to prevent a towncore.
Jumping on a post an insinuating others should scumread it is probably the lowest-effort wolf activity. But I'm starting to see that Scotty's probably town. Going after all three "active" players, and not trying to jump on at least one easy slanker target, etc.

I'll probably defer my Scotty read today to people who have played with him a lot longer than I have.

People are more likely town than scum by default and nobody's dipped below the 50% likely to be town threshold for me. You and Seanzie are slightly >rand town.
Looking at it in context, LP's post is even more weird. Thunal's post isn't even a read, it's a simple statistical statement, and accusing that of "TMI" feels really artificial, not to mention that even if true someone having a lot of townreads is a weird reason to wolfread them. LP's post gets worse the more I look into it
Tbf, I made a couple actual townleans after that post and that could be what LP is talking about.
That still makes no sense, every town player worth their salt has "a couple actual townleans", how is that worth jumping on?

It's not good reasoning, but I'll wait a bit to see if LP is actually wolfy.
