also alison the only reason i wasnt burying aro with you and mac earlier is because i wasn't here. i was pinged by his posts in the last few pages the moment that i actually read him

so the funny thing is that i actually kind of agree with aro's assessment that the gamestate might point to wisp being a villager. i think that wisp angrily throwing in the towel and self-voting and then justifying why it isn't gamethrowing is frustrating and irritating behavior but i think the actual case against wisp was kind of weak in the first place and i think the way a lot of the game pounced on him could be indicative of him being a villager

so on a base level, i can understand the thought process of: "wisp is a villager", but my concerns about aro are:

1. aro has continually said that in a world where wisp is a villager, then multiple mafia are outed. he is projecting a high level of confidence about wisp being a villager. in spite of this, his top two scumreads (porscha/tilg) have nothing to do with his read that the mafia are outed if wisp is V, and it doesn't seem to be influencing his view of the game in any tangible way. this makes me think that aro said this out of false bravado and not because he actually believed it

2. i don't really townread porscha but aro's reasoning for scumreading porscha just doesn't really make much sense to me - it would be one thing if the game was collectively ignoring porscha or not pushing on her at all, but she was quite literally the leading wagon for a lengthy period of time earlier in this dayphase, and almost everyone here has her POE'd. this logic of: "nobody is pushing on porscha so porscha must be mafia" doesn't make sense in context of porscha literally being one of the most widely pushed players in the game

3. his read on tilg just feels lazy and like he is grasping for someone that he can put into his POE without backlash. he accused tilg of not having a firm view of the game but he had an interaction with tilg just hours before where tilg gave him 5/6 different townreads. it just feels fake i suppose

i've been really wanting aro to be town with me because of the way he was so excited to find me so quickly and also because i just wanted to townteam with him but i do feel that his posting over the last few hours is wolf-indicative. it sucks but it is what it is

I still feel like tilg hasn’t made solid takes and is more so just in my poE/scum pile for just being in the background-ish and seeming agreeable in some of their takes. I’m waiting to see for them to make more concrete takes and a direction this game that I haven’t seen yet until i asked them for their tr. they seem to be clouded in their poE which is fine but my issue is they seem to be unsure where they want to go as eod approaches which pings me a bit.

it hurts me to say this but this read probably does make arogame mafia

Also Alison to answer your question, I'm just vote hopping and seeing what happens because I don't have any wolfreads that I currently feel particularly strongly about, and I have a lot of townread that I do feel fairly strongly about. i would say that i generally feel cautious about you in this game and that the possibility that you might be attempting to pocket me or make you look partnered with me in a world where you are W has been on my mind quite a lot, tbh. in particular, my concern has been that you are trying to create a dynamic between you and me that existed between you and alison in the cats and dog game, where you very passionately defend an often misunderstood and wrongly suspected villager and look townier for doing so (and also look partnered with them once you flip W)

so anyway my towncore would probably be mac lily neon and rondo. im about to go to bed too and idk how much ill be around tomorrow cause ill be busy

i think lily is town bcuz porscha is almost certainly correct about lily being town regardless of her alignment, except for the exact world where porscha/lily are W/W which i don't currently think they are. i think that neon is town because i believe that lily is a villager and i believe that lily is most likely correct about neon town but this is strengthened by santy and blade also projecting confidence about her being town

these arent the only reasons that i have to townread either lily or neon but they do play a fairly major role in my townreads on both, particularly my read on neon. some might find this to be a confusing/bad way to scumhunt but i maintain that it is a valid solving strategy and it is the way that i managed to find aro in the gravity falls game when he was positioned very deeply

im not sure that anyone in this game is repping a townread on belzy with the same level of confidence that lily/blade/etc are repping on neon but you can correct me if im wrong
